We’re operating in stealth. Among the treasures we obtained from the Depths of the Labyrinth was a Ring of Invisibility. With it, we’ve achieved a level of concealment rivaling a master of advanced assassination. We move slowly, carefully.
Chinatsu-chan takes the lead, followed by me, and then Clarice. Nyx has been told to rest while we handle our “business.”
”Takumi-kun, this is it,” Chinatsu-chan murmurs, her nose twitching as she confirms our destination.
”The guard… there’s only one. A young but skilled female knight,” I observe.
”Can you incapacitate her without killing her?” I ask.
”I think so. Can I cut her tendons?”
”As long as she doesn’t die, proceed.”
We enter the room as if we belong. Clarice sets up a barrier, and Chinatsu-chan moves to neutralize the guard.
It’s over in an instant. Trained by Weed-san, the one known as Godspeed, Chinatsu-chan exploits the guard’s blind spot. She swiftly disables the knight’s arms and strikes her head, knocking her to the floor.
On the bed, Sheryl’s eyes widen in shock as Chisame is pressed against her. She accepts her fate with a lonely smile.
”…I didn’t expect you to resort to such methods.”
”I’m sorry, but I can’t afford to be a mere good person. Not with the lives of Lesta, Seron, and McGaref on my shoulders. Besides, Clarice’s barrier as the Witch of Plenty is top-notch. No one will notice anything amiss.”
Sheryl hesitates. Her options are clear:
1. Submit to us.
2. Buy time by offering herself, hoping her guards will intervene—an option I’ve already dismissed.
3. Or…
”I’ll take my own life. Please, lend me your dagger.”
She chooses the third path. Offering herself would only result in violation, and she knows her capture would harm the Quvarian Empire.
As when Chinatsu-chan saw through her disguise, Sheryl’s judgment is sharp. But I’m worse than she imagines.
”I’m sorry, but I can’t allow that.”
”…It’s customary to grant royalty the right to self-determination.”
Her voice falters. She knows my answer already.
”I don’t follow this world’s customs. I’m from another world, remember?”
I shake my head slowly, then approach Sheryl. With Chinatsu-chan’s help, I force her to drink a potion.
It’s the drug Shiori-chan gave me: “Pleasure Potion: Strong Effect, Severe Side Effects.” It won’t kill her immediately, but it’ll shorten her life. Just like Katarina did to Ms. Marina, I’m using drugs to ruin Sheryl’s life. We’re two of a kind—pathetic.

The effects are immediate. Sheryl’s eyes widen as she feels her body react. Pleasure overwhelms her, and she glares at me.
For the first time, she shows anger. Assassination is one thing, but this violation is beyond her comprehension.
”To treat a woman this way… what do you hope to achieve?”
”Of course, I’ll violate you. A foolish question, but… is Her Highness still a virgin?”

She answers calmly, even as Clarice and Chinatsu-chan bind and drug the unconscious guard.
