Volume 6 Chapter 8 Shiori-chan Is One Step Ahead

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

I hurried toward Shiori-chan, still reeling from witnessing Councilor Nosissi’s assassination just moments ago. I wanted to see Ms. Natalie soon, but this—this took priority.

Until now, I had been tentatively supportive of Merchant Guild Kinvale’s acquisition by Merchant Guild Katarina. But I cannot drag Shiori-chan into this political power struggle. She’s a talented girl—ranked high on the national mock exam and proven herself by significantly growing Merchant Guild Kinvale over the years.

Yet, she’s utterly unsuited for this kind of strife. If she gets caught in the crossfire, I only see a future where Kahoru-chan ends up implicated and assassinated alongside her.

”Nasselle-san, where is Shiori-chan?” I asked as I stepped into the store where she worked.

The usual scene unfolded before me: citizens and adventurers browsing for daily necessities and medicine. It was calm—an ordinary day’s rhythm, so starkly different from the council meeting chaos that had just erupted. Nasselle-san, the familiar store clerk, looked unchanged.

”Oh, it’s been a while, Takumi-chan. If you’re looking for Shiori-chan, she’s in the lab as usual.”

Apparently, the staff still didn’t realize that the merchant guild leader was Shiori-chan. I thanked her and went straight inside without needing identification.

Security tightened from here on, but my recognition let me through. And there she was, in the back, as always—Shiori-chan.

 ”Oh, Takumi-kun.”

”Shiori-chan, I’m going to buy your merchant guild right now.”

”Eh, ah, okay. You heard from my adoptive father, right? Thank you.”

She bowed her head slightly. Ah, right—I’d been fixated on buying the merchant guild, but that also meant Shiori-chan and I were getting engaged. I’d completely set that feeling aside.

”Ah, I’m sorry. You probably heard this from Mr. Ralph, but… let me say it again. I love you, Shiori-chan. Please marry me.”

Shiori-chan looked at me, eyes fluttering. Her adorable, idol-like appearance—blue-dyed hair she developed herself, tied up in a neat bun—made my heart race.

Such a petite frame, yet she had set out alone from the base, working tirelessly, proving her worth by results, not luck.

But Shiori-chan’s response caught me off guard.

”Engaged? …No, that’s not right. It’d be unfair to everyone. There’s no need to get engaged just to sell the merchant guild, so please don’t worry about it.”

 ”But then—”

Shiori-chan was the heir of Merchant Guild Kinvale, and now its leader. Considering her position, she couldn’t casually give away her virginity. I might not be the one to lecture, given my history with many women, but I knew she liked me.

”It’s okay. I’ll wait patiently. When everyone else is ready, I want to become your wife, Takumi-kun.”

”No, no. That’s not right, Shiori-cchi. It’s time to be honest with yourself and selfish. You want to lose your virginity, right? You want to take Takumi-chi’s dick in your mouth, spread your pussy, and become the woman of the one you love, right?”

”…Huh? Kahoru-chan, since when were you here?”

”Huh? From the beginning, haven’t I? You two made such a nice atmosphere, I couldn’t help myself. Right, Eil-Eil?”

”Yeah. Onii-chan, you were only looking at Shiori-chan, weren’t you?”

Behind Kahoru-chan stood Eil-Eil, the former second princess of Lesta Kingdom. Wait—did she just call me “Onii-chan”?

But this room, with only A and B cups present, felt so different. Last night, it was M-cup Aria and H-cup Hikari-chan—quite the contrast.

”Hey, Takumi-chi. Don’t you want to hold Shiori-chan soon? To smash into that A-cup pussy, rediscover the value of small breasts, and declare that Team Kahoru is supreme?”

”Uh, I don’t quite agree with that, but I do know I can’t neglect Shiori-chan’s feelings.”

”Tch, I was just about to brainwash you under the radar…”

”No, Kahoru-chan. Don’t trouble Takumi-kun. I’m fine. Let’s focus on the merchant guild first. I know you’re handling a lot right now. Kahoru-chan, Eil-Eil, I’ll wait here with you.”

”But Shiori-chan, Eil-Eil already had her hymen broken by Takumi-chi and even showed everyone her fucked-open pussy after he came inside.”

”Yeah, that’s true. By the way, Kahoru-chan, since Eil-Eil’s here, maybe we should be a bit more careful with our conversation?”

Ah, Shiori-chan was a little annoyed now. But Kahoru-chan just stuck out her tongue playfully, clearly not repentant.

”Alright, Takumi-kun’s busy, so let’s sell the merchant guild quickly, shall we? Takumi-kun, I want to sell everything of Merchant Guild Kinvale to you. How about installments for 10 million gold coins?”

Shiori-chan laid out the terms of the deal. It was likely a calculated value based on her financial analysis—but the number was staggering.

If one gold coin equates to about 100,000 yen, that’s… one trillion yen? The figure was so extravagant it felt unreal. Wait, was I seriously about to purchase something for a trillion yen? This was a full corporate acquisition.

”Got it. How about 100,000 gold coins at a 99% discount? Sorry, but on a 10-year installment plan.”

Even with that discount, it amounted to ten billion yen. Of course, I didn’t have that kind of money. The installment payments made it sound like a scam—but that’s the terrifying part of the ‘99% Discount Skill’ and ‘Perception Obstruction Skill’ that made it possible.

”Yes, I understand. Here are the detailed documents listing the transaction inventory.”

Shiori-chan smiled sweetly and handed me the inventory. Just like that, I had smoothly merged with a massive corporation. Flipping through the pages, I saw branches worldwide.

This would become mine. Then, through Ranka-san’s hands, it would be reborn as an information network. Mr. Ralph may have arranged some of it—but probably only to serve his own business interests.

The information we sought was purely for diplomatic and military purposes. Even knowing that, countries wouldn’t shut it down. They couldn’t abandon the drugs Shiori-chan had developed.

Thinking about it, hadn’t Shiori-chan already taken control of the world?

As I pondered, my hand paused on a particular page.

It was titled “Human Resources.” A list of owned slaves. Ms. Natalie’s name appeared there too. Scanning the many names, my eyes landed on the very last line.

 ”Wait, Shiori-chan.”

 There was Shiori-chan’s name.

Hmm, I understood the meaning behind this, but is that what you intend, Shiori-chan?

”I’m sorry for keeping quiet, Takumi-kun. To take responsibility for selling the historic Merchant Guild Kinvale, Shiori Kinvale, the guild head, has decided to become a slave herself and share the guild’s fate. From now on, I’ll be Shiori, the slave. Please take care of me.”

And so, Shiori-chan—more cunning than I—had turned the ‘Perception Obstruction Skill’ against me, seamlessly becoming my slave.
