Before us appeared the Witch of the Turning Heavens, Livia.
She was one of the Quvarian Empire’s court witches, ranked eighth—higher even than Chinatsu-chan.
Meruru raised her guard to the fullest and spread a defensive barrier.
”Do not look so frightened… Lady Nyx, you understand, don’t you? Lilus was my dear friend.”
The name caught me off guard.
I remembered Lilus.
She was a princess of the Former Northern Kingdom, and Neige-san’s elder sister.
During the war when Sheryl had been the nominal commander, Lilus was betrayed by Sheryl’s army, her forces destroyed, and forced to take her own life.
”I have always hated the Quvarian Empire,” Livia said. “Serving the country that killed Lilus has tormented me all this time.”
”…I have indeed heard that,” Nyx answered.
Nyx glanced at me, her eyes saying, It is true… but.
It was not enough to make us lower our guard.
Yet attacking would be just as foolish.
Meruru was on defense, and Eris-san and the others were away on escort duty.
With the members here, defeating Livia would be near impossible.
”…Lady Livia. We also heard the Emperor Quvar was assassinated. Is that related to your words?” I asked.
”No, that was Minister Gritch’s doing. I had no part in it… but it was the trigger, yes.”
Then, without warning, Livia began undressing.
The plump body hidden under her clothes was revealed in an instant.
”You still don’t trust me, I see. If it clears your doubts and makes you hear me out, I’ll even strip naked. Here, I give you my staff too.”
Aria, holding the staff she handed over, folded the clothes with a troubled face.
Livia, now naked, sat down before me.
”Please, Takumi-sama. I want peace. Help me find the missing Princess Sheryl. I do not oppose you fighting the First Emperor. But if we can make peace with the Quvarian Empire Sheryl inherited, and join to drive out the ghosts… that is the best way forward.”
She explained the ghost army’s possession was draining the magic stones.
We already knew this.
If we did not return the ghosts to the underworld, energy shortages would spread across the world, and in winter, disasters would strike the colder regions.
”Most likely, Princess Sheryl is captive to the First Emperor’s army. But Cartera, the Eternal Witch, is too powerful. Unless the witches here unite, we cannot oppose her. Destroying her alone, with all the magic stones she consumes, would ease the world’s shortage.”
It made sense.
Her words were reasonable.
And yet… I could not bring myself to trust this woman, sitting naked before me.
”One major question remains. You should be in the Imperial Capital. Why are you here, Lady Livia?”
Nyx voiced my own doubt.
Livia nodded and tapped the side of her head.
”It is my secret art. My unique magic, Turning Heavens, allows teleportation across space.”
So… she meant instant travel.
We looked at one another, but no one could prove her words beyond doubt.
”If you agree to support Princess Sheryl, I will even accept enslavement magic. I am ready to spread my legs and be filled with your seed if need be.”
She spread herself, already damp from arousal at being seen.
I glanced at Meruru and Nyx.
Their eyes told me they felt the same as I did.
”…Very well. I will place enslavement magic upon you.”
”Of course. But a collar is too obvious. Please use my nipples… or lips instead.”
Luckily—or perhaps ominously—I always carried various enslavement tools since the Sheryl incident.
This included nipple-piercing types.
I took one and approached Livia.
”All right. I will use this.”
”As you wish… nnnghh… aaahhh!?”
With a snap, the piercing drove through her nipple.
Her full breasts shook as she twisted in shock, but she accepted the shame.
”Become my slave, Livia.”
”Yes… I, Livia, Witch of the Turning Heavens, am now the captive slave of Takumi Nasu-sama.”
She named herself prisoner.
Not a purchased slave, but a captive slave—still, it clarified her position as mine.
I pressed in the enslavement spell: obedience, no harm to me, and secrecy.
I doubled the obedience commands, sealing the bond.
”Thank you. As proof of slavery, shall I offer my body now?”
”No. Not now.”
”…As you wish. But please command me any time.”
Clothed again, Livia knelt and bowed.
”Then I wish to meet Lady Haruka Date at once and discuss how to counter Cartera. Please grant me a written note that I have sworn myself to you.”
”All right, I’ll prepare it.”
I wrote in magical Japanese script.
Only my classmates could read it—no outsiders could forge or understand it.
”Then I shall make my preparations.”
”Livia, will you help defend McGaref?”
”Yes. Once I have met Lady Halka, certainly.”
”…By the way, have I met you before?”
”No. I believe this is our first time.”
”I see… yes, of course. Forgive me for the odd question.”
Thus, Livia allied herself with us and quickly departed to meet Haruka-chan and the others.
”What do you think, Nyx?”
”I cannot say… her words and actions match. And as Takumi-sama’s slave, she cannot act against you. For now, we must do what we can.”
”Yes. Let’s hurry—for McGaref’s sake.”
So we marched hard toward McGaref.
When we finally arrived, on the fourth evening since the war began… we were left speechless by the turn the war had taken.

• Livia – 8th-ranked imperial witch, heir of Cartera and friend of Lilus (Neige’s sister), whose death drove her to hate Quvar. Austere, sharp, and feared, she opposed the Ghost Army and toppled Emperor by using then betraying Gritch, secretly backing Princess Sheryl. First appears v9c3. Reminder: Brilliant witch who twists loyalties to save the world.
• Quvarian Empire – Ruling kingdom. Harsh world, restricted freedom.
• Chinatsu – White Wall — Black hair, B-cup. Adventurous, masochistic, Takumi’s first slave & lover. Master of Asakura-ryu Iaijutsu, wields cursed sword Chisame (blood-powered). 12th-ranked fighter, close to Hikari. First appears in v1c1 Prologue.
• Nyx – The First Princess of Celon Dukedom, who escapes to McGaref; next in line to the throne after the Queen’s expected death.
• Sheryl – Second Princess of the Quvarian Empire, a striking beauty with red hair. Initially appears as a diplomatic envoy, but she is a reformer within the empire, seeking to atone for Quvar’s past betrayals, particularly the destruction of the Northern Kingdom. Sheryl is highly intelligent and politically savvy, using her position to gather secrets and undermine the empire’s plans to destroy McGaref. She is also a slave to Takumi, bound by enslavement magic, and tasked with sowing chaos within Quvar. Despite her circumstances, she maintains a sense of duty and hopes to bring about change. First appears in v6c26.
• Eris – Rusty’s daughter and commander of the all-female Order of Knights, loyal elf warrior with a widow-like warmth. Mother of Meruru, thus Rusty’s granddaughter, tying three generations to Takumi. Beautiful with short golden hair and armor, she blends practicality with tenderness. First appears v9c12. Reminder: Knightly daughter balancing steel and maternal grace.
• Gritch – Minister of Internal Affairs, shrewd and power-hungry, allied with Roshima and exploited Katarina’s grudge. Manipulated by Livia, he slew the Emperor with poison, dreaming of ruling as regent and claiming Sheryl or his daughter’s marriage into royalty. Betrayed and denounced, he died in agony and his line was erased. First appears v9c2. Reminder: Ambitious minister undone by his own scheming.
• Cartera – Eternal Witch — The First Emperor’s mistress and a resurrected sorceress of immense power. Cruel and seductive, she takes pleasure in destruction and defilement. Her loyalty to the Emperor is absolute, and she shares his desire to end the world. First appears in v9c3.
• Haruka – Witch of Destruction — Silver-haired, F-cup. Former class vice-president, now a powerful witch. Wields the Agilaus Staff, capable of devastating ritual magic. Became the world’s strongest after acquiring the ‘Dark Emperor of the Abyss’ as a familiar. Exhibits exhibitionist tendencies, often seeking public intimacy with Takumi. Deeply devoted to him, balancing her role as a leader with her desires. First appears in v1c1 Prologue.
• McGaref – Fortress city, adventurer hub.
