Chapter 193 Division and Light Magic
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
……Tester Life, Day 70. Morning. 13th Floor Exploration, Day 2. Inside the Magic Tent. Sanada Yakumo……
I woke to the sensation of Karen taking my c**k into her mouth while giving me a paizuri.
Sayaka was right beside me. Noticing I was awake, she softly offered her breast to my lips. I nursed greedily at those soft, heavy globes. Between the pressure of Karen’s firm breasts against my shaft and the flick of her tongue against the tip of my c**k, I hit my limit and came without warning.
Karen let out a startled “Wahya!”¹ as the s**men surged, splashing across her face, but she didn’t let go. She clamped down on my c**k, swallowing every drop as it pumped out. Her hands moved in a rhythmic, milking motion from the base. Once I was finished, she gave the tip a wet, audible suck before pulling away. She wiped a stray smear of c**m from her cheek with her finger, licked it off, and gave me a satisfied smile. “That was delicious.”
I nodded, still occupied with Sayaka-san’s breast.
Next, Sayaka-san pulled back to begin the “clean-up” b**job. Karen-chan took her place, lying down beside me and offering her own breasts, which I took into my mouth without a word.
God, breasts really are the best.
We’d had some pretty rough s*x last night, partly because they were both still in their school uniforms. The evidence was scattered under the bed-uniforms tossed aside, covered in white stains. I’d spent the night pulling their underwear aside and kneading their flesh while still half-dressed. By the time we were done, their panties were a wrinkled, sodden mess.
I’d come inside them about eight times in total. We’d eventually passed out from exhaustion, with s**men still leaking from their pussies. Still, as D and D+ ranks, they recover fast. I couldn’t see a trace of fatigue from yesterday’s grind or last night’s “workout” on their faces.
Then again, I’m just as bad.
After I was done with those two, I’d called the Wall-Butt² girls into the living room for a few more rounds. Lilith-san was up first, so I gave her the usual treatment-slapping her ass and pulling her breasts so hard they nearly tore before filling her up. I spent the rest of the time messing with her using a pink rotor and anal beads while talking dirty, then “overwrote” her fading tattoos for good measure.
I’d tried to order some sub-demon equipment during the session, but I was whipping her with a bundle of belts at the time and she was mid-ahegao, so I wasn’t sure if she actually heard me. I repeated the request to Freya-san when she showed up later. They’ll probably get it implemented eventually.
Mia-chan, the third one out, seemed like she wanted to finish the anime she was watching. She looked pretty bummed when I told her we were out on an expedition. There’s no power in the Magic Tent, so there’s not much I can do about it. I let her read some of the manga I’d stockpiled instead, which seemed to keep her happy enough.
After that, I hammered into her small ass so hard it turned bright red, pushing her until she peaked. You’d never guess it from her looks, but that girl craves the rough stuff. Maybe she’s just carrying a lot of stress? When I was done, she begged for a hickey. I covered her tiny breasts in them until she was satisfied. Ever since the first time I gave her one, she’s made it a regular request. She’s actually pretty cute when she projects that bashful “kissing face” on her display.
I knew who was coming next, so I just called them both at once. As expected, Aria-san and Pamela-san appeared. I ignored their usual posturing and just treated them like mindless onaholes, slamming away in “speed-run” mode without any toys. They were both pissed at the crude treatment, but Pamela-san’s face was a masterpiece-pure, indignant rage mixed with the love juice dripping uncontrollably from her p**sy. She clearly gets off on being “debased” by a lower-caste male. Perverts are so easy to manage.
Lost in thoughts of last night, I headed to the bathroom with Sayaka-san and Karen-chan.
In the living room, Sheena-san, Sanae-san, and Leticia-san were already getting breakfast ready. I gave them each a quick morning kiss before heading in to let the girls wash my body. After Sayaka-san brushed my teeth and Karen-chan shaved me, I headed back to the living room to check the Magic Crystal over a post-bath beer.
I checked the “Food” tab in the Shop. Yep, the prices hiked again.
A breakfast set is now 400 DP, lunch is 480 DP, and dinner is 800 DP. That’s 1,680 DP a day-about 17,000 yen for daily meals.
The guys stuck below the 4th floor probably aren’t feeling the sting as much since they can’t use the Wall-Butt anyway, but they can’t cook for themselves until they clear the 10th Floor. They’re stuck paying these highway robbery prices every ten days. Even with a six-man party on the 6th floor, the split is only 4,000 to 5,000 DP per person. If we don’t clear the 10th Floor soon, saving up DP is going to become a nightmare.
The Glory guys already found the Guardian room, so a mob of testers is probably about to flood the 6th floor. There aren’t any real gimmicks there; as long as they handle the archers, they should reach the 8th floor pretty fast.
But that’s where the fun starts: wizards, more traps, and then the “Monster Trap” hell.
I closed the Shop window and tapped the “Party” icon. I saw new requests from Yuki-kun and the rest of the guild and hit approve. I wondered for a second if Coach Sayama had enjoyed his time on the “isolated island” yesterday, but then the party comms started ringing. It was Yuki-kun.
During expeditions, I make sure either Yuki-kun or Coach Sayama is in the party every morning for reports. Yesterday was the Coach; today was Yuki-kun.
”Morning, Yuki. Reporting in?”
”Good morning, Guild Master. Yes, I have some interesting news regarding some recent movements.”
”Oh? Did Glory finally implode?” I asked, hearing the hint of amusement in his voice. I figured Mimura’s group had finally gone up in flames.
”No, not Mimura. It’s the Kendo Club Members. Apparently, the Archery Club just declared independence.”
”Huh. They finally split?”
I figured it was coming, but the timing was interesting.
According to Yuki-kun’s intel, the Archery Club president felt pressured into making a formal break from the Kendo Club. The excuses were the usual: information leaks from the Kendo guys, stalled progress, and their refusal to share the Soul-less Dolls. They took a chunk of the Kendo Club with them when they left.
Apparently, they’ve named their new guild ‘Shuhari.’³
”Shuhari, huh? What’s that supposed to mean?”
”It’s a martial arts concept for the stages of learning,” Yuki-kun explained. “‘Shu’ is obeying the teacher, ‘Ha’ is breaking away to find your own way, and ‘Ri’ is transcending to create something new.”
”Talk about a pretentious name.”
And here I was, naming my guild ‘Nightmare’ just because it sounded cool after thinking about Incubi.
”Ahaha, well, the Archery Club advisor was a real hard-ass. I guess they’re trying to honor those roots. But there’s a catch to this ‘independence’.”
”A catch?”
I knew they were on thin property ever since they got screwed over by those two Monster Houses, but still.
”Yes. Someone spotted Mimura talking to Kudo-the Archery Club president-and some of the third-years yesterday. We’re guessing Mimura is going to take the Glory remnants and join Shuhari, using his floor intel as a buy-in.”
Basically, the Archery Club ditched the Kendo guys because they realized Mimura was a better source of info.
”I see. That makes sense. Heh, Mimura’s a slippery bastard. He really doesn’t stay down for long, does he?”
With Manda and the other leaders dead, Mimura probably realized he couldn’t control the ones who were left, so he pivoted to the Archery Club immediately. It’s only been two days since the incident. He moves fast. He probably didn’t have enough DP for a Grade 3 Potion and traded his vanguards and intel for a Sub-Master spot and some funding.
Not bad.
”Actually, this works out great for us,” Yuki-kun said. “I’m planning to recruit the Kendo Club leftovers.”
”Yeah, do that. Was it Captain Akatsu? A straight-shooter like him is someone we can actually trust.”
He’s probably shit at politics, but you want a guy like that leading a squad. Kudo, the Archery guy? He’s too indecisive. Mimura is going to eat Shuhari alive from the inside.
”My thoughts exactly. I’ll let you know when it’s official.”
”I’m looking forward to it.”
I don’t know how many of the fifteen Kendo members are left, but ten is a safe bet. With them on our side, even if everyone else turns hostile, we can crush them easily. The odds of anyone trying to pick a fight just plummeted.
My “breakwater” is finally complete.
While I’m off buying slaves and building my harem, they can serve as my shield against the other testers. I’ll give them their cut-in the form of floor intel, of course.
We just need to make sure we stay far enough ahead of them. Re-running floors is a luck-based grind, though. It’d be depressing as hell if some lucky bastard caught up to us just by getting good RNG. There’s always that one guy in every game who joins late, never spends a dime, and still pulls every top-tier weapon. It hits harder than a total Gacha wipeout.
But if I rush too hard and break Sayaka-san or the others, it defeats the point. I need ten ‘Introductory Permit’ fragments. If I start stressing everyone out, the mood in the party will go to hell, and then the s*x won’t be any fun.
It’s a delicate balance.
* * *
After Yuki-kun’s report and a quick breakfast, we cleared out of the campsite early. About thirty minutes in, we found a side-path and began our assault on the second settlement of this floor.
”Fireball!”
I loosed a blast at an Orc charging our barricade. It tried to catch it on its shield, but I’d pumped double the usual Mana into it. The shield didn’t hold. The Orc was blown clean off its feet.
”The line of fire is open! Light it up!”
”On it!”
Slam! Slam! Slam!
Following my lead, Karen moved in close, using the shield-bearing Orcs for cover. She began blasting Magic Bullets⁴ into the cluster of Orcs hiding behind the front line.
As Orcs dropped like flies, I slammed my machete into the chest of an enemy whose heavy blade had been parried by Rock. I didn’t give the creature behind him a chance to breathe, treating it to a Fire Bullet at point-blank range.
Next to me, Hanako was straining every nerve. She used her two greatshields to hold back a pair of Orcs swinging their heavy blades down on her in a rhythmic, crushing assault. Her breathing was growing heavy, though likely not just from exhaustion. Sheena would probably be snapping her back to her senses any moment now.
Just as that thought crossed my mind, I spotted two Green Wolves leaping over the Orcs, aiming to land right in front of Karen. Lucy readied her hunting knife to protect her, but the wolves were intercepted mid-air by Karen’s Magic Bullets and a few kunai thrown from the rear. They hit the ground foaming at the mouth. Lucy didn’t waste a heartbeat, driving her knife into their throats to finish the job.
With that, the pressure from the Orcs finally broke.
”Combat over! Nice hold, everyone!” I shouted.
”We did it!” Hanako cried out.
”Yes! I actually managed to land most of my shots this time,” Sanae said, exhaling in relief.
”I saw them,” Sheena added. “Your arrows were hitting those Orcs coming through the gate one after another. Impressive work, Sanae.”
”Mhm, you were great,” Karen agreed. “You kept picking off the ones I was aiming for. Saved me quite a bit of Mana Capacity⁵.”
Sanae beamed, clearly soaking up the praise. “Hmph. As an archer, this is the bare minimum. I’m not losing to those ‘Shuhari’ hacks.”
”Don’t even compare yourself to them,” I said. “Those guys are just used to being pampered. You’re the top-tier archer of Nightmare.”
”I guess you’re right. No point standing on the same stage as a bunch of loudmouths,” Sanae replied.
Her archery during this village raid had been sharp. She had silenced the two Orc archers on the watchtowers instantly, and as soon as the earth wall was up, she started picking off the Orcs at the gate. Because of her, they couldn’t coordinate; they came at us piecemeal, making them easy pickings.
Bows really are top-tier for defensive play. It almost made me want to scout another girl from the Archery Club, but Sanae was always a bit of an outcast there. I wasn’t sure if the chemistry would work. Plus, when I’d checked their practice before, there weren’t many real beauties in the lineup. I decided to pass for now.
I told the jubilant Sanae to let Hanako deliver the finishing blows, then took Leticia with me into the village proper. Inside the largest house, we found a copper treasure chest sitting right in the center.
”Yes! A treasure chest!” Leticia exclaimed.
”Two in a row? We’re on a roll,” I said.
”Can I open it?” she asked.
I gave her a nod. Leticia practically skipped over, her face a mask of pure excitement as she flipped the lid.
”Wait… what?! It’s a Magic Tome!”
”Whoa, no way,” I muttered, leaning in. “Wait… White? Are you kidding? How high is your Luck stat?”
The white cover of that book caught me off guard. That was a Light-element tome, without a doubt. I figured one would turn up eventually, but I didn’t expect to find it in only the second village.
”I wonder what spell it is?” Leticia asked, holding the book up for me to see. “Since it’s white, is it a healing spell like ‘Heal’?”
I checked the cover. It featured an illustration of a rectangular shield. “Nah, with a shield design, it’s probably a ‘Light Shield’ or something. A defensive spell.”
”Yes! A Light Shield sounds so cool! Now I can protect Sayaka and Sanae!”
”Haha. Just make sure you prioritize your own safety first, okay?” I replied. She had been stuck on the sidelines for a while, and she seemed genuinely happy to finally be able to protect the others.
”Can I… can I learn it now? Please?” she asked.
”Sure. Go for it.”
The moment I gave the okay, Leticia flipped the book open. As per usual, the tome burst into flames and vanished into her mind.
”…Okay,” she whispered after a moment. “It looks like the size and durability change depending on how much Mana Capacity I pump into it.”
”You’re rearguard,” I told her, “so as long as it can stop a hit from a Green Wolf or an arrow, that’s plenty. If doubling the Mana makes the casting too slow, it’s not worth it. The standard version is probably more versatile.”
”Got it. I will do that! I want to practice!”
”Fair enough. Let’s head back to the group and run some drills.”
”Yes! I want to show everyone!” she cried.
She didn’t even try to hide how much she craved validation. I wrapped my arm around her waist and led the way out. For the record, there was no Permit Fragment inside. I didn’t expect them to drop that easily, anyway. On to the next one.
* * *
Once we were outside, we tested the “Light Shield.” The barrier was roughly one meter tall and 60 centimeters wide. It cost about half the Mana of a “Physical Reinforcement” and lasted for about a minute. The durability wasn’t quite at the level of solid iron, but it was close. It could likely tank a single “Fireball” head-on.
The real advantage of this magic was that Leticia could manifest it anywhere within a two-meter radius of herself. Plus, she could move the shield freely within that zone. That was huge for protecting nearby allies. Even Sheena was caught off guard; she hadn’t heard of this specific spell before.
Everyone showered her with praise, and Leticia was over the moon. She started talking about “granting the Holy Maiden’s blessing to all,” her eyes sparkling with newfound purpose.
I made sure to remind her to use it for herself first, but I had a feeling she’d be throwing herself in front of arrows the first chance she got.

Summary:
Yakumo begins his second day on the 13th floor with his harem. He receives a report from Yuki about the fragmentation of the student guilds, specifically the Archery Club splitting from the Kendo Club. Mimura is maneuvering to join the new ‘Shuhari’ guild, prompting Yakumo to recruit the abandoned Kendo members to strengthen his social ‘breakwater’ before continuing his dungeon assault.
The protagonist’s party successfully defends against a wave of Orcs and Green Wolves, highlighted by Sanae’s exceptional archery. After the battle, they find a rare Light-element Magic Tome in a copper chest. Leticia learns the ‘Light Shield’ spell, which proves to be a versatile defensive tool that can be positioned freely within a short radius.
—
Trivia:
- The cost of food in the dungeon shop increases every ten days.
- Yakumo is currently looking for 10 ‘Introductory Permit’ fragments.
- The ‘Wall-Butt’ utility is currently unavailable to testers below the 4th floor.
- Mimura is a survivor who quickly pivoted after the death of his previous leaders.
- Yakumo uses high-ranking sub-demons (D/D+) specifically for their fast recovery rates.
- The protagonist specifically checked the Archery Club for more recruits but was disappointed by the ‘visuals’.
- Hanako’s breathing and mental state are being monitored by Sheena, hinting at a potential ‘berserk’ or ‘trance’ mechanic.
- Leticia’s luck stat is explicitly called out as being unusually high.
- The Permit Fragment is a key item that was missing from this chest, establishing its rarity.
- The Light Shield can be moved independently of the caster within a 2-meter range
—
Character Insight:
Yakumo displays a mix of gamer-cynicism and ruthless pragmatism. He views other testers primarily as shields (‘breakwaters’) to protect his lifestyle. His interactions with his slaves range from domestic affection to detached experimentation with status effects and psychological play.
Leticia shows a strong desire for validation and a selfless urge to protect her peers (Sayaka and Sanae), contrasting with the protagonist’s more pragmatic and slightly shallow evaluation of party members based on looks and utility.
—
Behind the Scenes:
The term ‘Shuhari’ is a real-world Japanese martial arts concept often cited in kendo and aikido, representing the path from imitation to innovation.
The use of ‘White’ magic as a rare drop in the second village suggests a fast-paced power progression common in web novels to keep reader engagement high.
