Chapter 196 Around That Time, the ‘Enjoying-Themselves’ Group…
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Tester Life: Day 71. 5th Floor, Area Guardian Room.
Party: White Knight (Soccer Club). Leader: Yusa Hayato.
”Daaaah! What the hell is with that Kobold King?! He was way too damn strong!” Yusa shouted.
He finally brought the beast down. In front of the Kobold King, whose body was already dissolving into a black mist, Yusa threw his sword aside and collapsed.
It had been close. He’d honestly thought he was going to die.
If he’d known it would be this bad, he’d have just learned some magic and stayed in the back.
”Huff… huff… look at my shield… it’s totally trashed,” Seko wheezed.
As the party’s tank, he was in tatters. The rest of the guys slumped onto the stone floor around them.
”I’m tapped out. Zero Mana,” one groaned.
”Ow, ow… Kinta-kun, you still kicking?” another asked.
”Looks like he reverted to a Magic Sealing Crystal¹-ssu,” Ogata replied.
”Probably won’t be able to summon him again for a few days, man-ssu.”
”Guess he couldn’t take that hit from the greataxe after all,” Seko said.
”Kinta-kun… you only took that hit to save me…” Yusa muttered.
If Kinta-kun hadn’t jumped in front of him, that Kobold King’s axe would have split Yusa in two.
He was glad he’d picked the summon up. One of the best things about those beasts was that as long as they didn’t get one-shotted, they automatically retreated into the Crystal before they actually died.
”I saw the Captain order him to be a meat shield²,” Ogata said, looking over.
”Me too,” Seko added.
”I was like, ‘Wow, this guy’s cold,’” another teammate muttered.
”You’re a total demon as always, Yusa-kun,” Seko said.
”Shut up! It costs way more if I get hurt!” Yusa snapped. “Kinta-kun is fine-he gets a free heal once he’s back in the Crystal, so it’s a win-win.”
Yusa had worked his ass off to rank him up to a Kobold Soldier just so the summon could survive being a shield, anyway.
”Well, if we’d taken that hit ourselves, we definitely would’ve burned a Grade 4 Potion,” Seko admitted.
”But you definitely used Kinta-kun as a shield just to save 10,000 DP, didn’t you?” Ogata asked.
”Yeah… totally a demon,” another whispered.
”Poor Kinta-kun… having a guy like the Captain for a Master,” Seko sighed.
”Wh-Whatever! Look! It’s the legendary Pearl Chest!” Yusa yelled.
The guys were starting to give him some serious shade, so Yusa pointed toward the Copper Chest behind the throne and the Pearl one sitting next to it to change the subject.
”Whoa! Is that the one that supposedly has the Slave Ticket³?!” one cried out.
”The drop rate for a Pearl Chest is only like fifty percent, right?” another asked.
”We’re lucky as hell! Open it up!”
”Damn, just thinking about getting a real s*x slave is getting me hyped,” Seko muttered.
”Everyone chill. I’m opening it,” Yusa said.
His heart was racing. ‘Please don’t be empty.’ He popped the lid.
Inside was a black ticket. The text on the front read: [Grade 5 Slave Exchange Ticket].
”Hell yeah! Look! We got it!” Yusa shouted.
”Uooooh! Awesome!” the group cheered.
”Who should we get? I want a slut who’s cool with being a smen toilet⁴,” one of the boys suggested.
”For real. It’s a pain in the ass when they start crying,” Seko agreed.
”What about Mika-san? She’s a total airhead; she’ll let us do whatever if we just ask,” another said.
”Oh, 2nd-year Tanaka Mika? Didn’t she turn into some eyebrow-less hag?” Yusa asked.
”Yeah, her dyed blonde hair is all nasty now too,” Seko replied. “Her roots are grown out-she looks like some trashy country-town yankee.”
”That’s just because her makeup is off,” Yusa cut in. “We just have to make her put her face on and dye her hair again. Her tits are small, but she’s got a solid psy.”
In the catalog, she looked like a mess without her eyebrows, but Yusa knew what she looked like when she tried.
If she was fixed up, she was fine. She was too stupid to even talk to, though, and Yusa didn’t want her wandering around his room with her ‘natural’ face, so he’d let one of the other guys buy her.
”You banged her so much she’s probably loose by now, Yusa,” Seko laughed.
”Seko-kun, you hit that too, don’t act like you didn’t,” Yusa shot back.
She was basically the 2nd-year soccer club’s community toilet anyway. She seemed to enjoy the attention, though.
A dumb girl like that was perfect-less chance of her getting depressed and being a drag when they all take turns.
”Sex slaves are great and all, but I’m just stoked that Wall-Butt⁵ is finally unlocked,” Ogata said.
”True that. That psy is top-tier,” Seko agreed.
”So now we’ve got the ‘Holy Trinity’ of this dungeon: Wall-Butt, the Soul-less Doll⁶, and Slaves,” Yusa said.
”Yeah, though the ‘Slave’ part of our Trinity is a bit rusty since it’s only Grade 5,” Seko pointed out.
”Look at it as motivation! Our next goal is a Grade 4. That’ll keep us grinding!”
”True. But man, we’re late,” Seko said, his voice dropping.
”I thought we’d have cleared this way sooner.”
”Can’t be helped,” Yusa replied. “Nobody expected those crazy powerful monsters to show up and kill Manda-san’s group.”
”Yeah, and we spent two days hearing rumors that they only spawn if you’re in a huge group,” Ogata added.
”We were gonna hit the Guardian last night after blowing off some steam with the Dolls, but then that mass murder happened.”
”Why does something always get in our way when we’re ready to move? I mean, who goes as far as actually killing people?” Seko asked.
”I kind of saw it coming,” Yusa muttered. “That guy with the teacher who looked like a ‘Noh’ mask, and that Kurokawa-kun from Mimura’s group… their eyes were totally gone.”
Still, Yusa didn’t think they’d take out Mimura-san or the track coach that easily.
Because of them, he’d been stuck running around the dungeon all night looking for Kurokawa’s group until he was dead on his feet.
Hasebe-coach said he couldn’t really say no since his colleague got iced and Miyata-san from the math department was in critical condition.
Oida-san was there too, looking like a psycho with all that fear and rage in his eyes.
”I’m just glad our group all agreed to share the Soul-less Dolls,” Seko said.
”Coach was right. NTR guys are freaking ticking time bombs,” Yusa agreed.
”Remember that news story? Some guy’s girl got stolen by a doctor, so he went to the hospital, cut the doctor’s dk off, and flushed it down the toilet,” one of the boys said.
”Gah! Seriously?!” Ogata cried out.
”I saw that too,” Seko said. “I thought, ‘Who does that over a girl?’”
”Coach is a legend,” Yusa said. “He’s the master of playing the field for a reason.”
It was true. This whole mess proved why the coach told them never to touch another man’s woman.
He was probably speaking from experience. He did say all his front teeth were implants, after all.
”Anyway, where the hell is Kurokawa-kun hiding? We searched everywhere,” Seko asked.
”Who knows? We did our time searching last night, so I don’t give a damn anymore,” Yusa said.
”I don’t want to run into a pack of murderers anyway,” Ogata muttered.
”Exactly. If we find them, they’ll just kill us to shut us up,” Seko said.
”Yeah. Not our problem,” Yusa finalized.
That’s why they told the Guild they were searching the back of the 4th floor with the coach, while they actually snuck off to kill the Guardian.
”Yusa, we gotta move. The Monster House is gonna respawn soon,” Seko warned.
”Crap, is it that time? I used up Kinta-kun too… Coach is gonna chew me out,” Yusa said.
”We’ll keep the ‘meat shield’ thing a secret. You owe us, though,” Seko said with a smirk.
”I want the deluxe dinner set-ssu,” Ogata added.
”Add a beer for me,” another said.
”Me too.”
”Ugh… fine. Just keep your mouths shut, okay?” Yusa groaned.
Tsk. Next time he had to use Kinta-kun as a shield, he’d make sure they didn’t see it.
He could just give the coach the intel on the Kobold King to smooth things over.
They opened the rest of the chests-pulled a Black Iron Sword, which was a nice win-and headed through the Black Gate to the 6th floor.
They didn’t find a ‘Magic Pouch’ like the one the ‘Monster Guard’ or Yuki-senpai allegedly had.
The baseball club guys said they didn’t get one either. It was likely a first-come, first-served reward.
Whatever. They were expensive, but you could buy them at the Shop. Having the ticket was lucky enough.
They stepped through the gate and found ourselves in a completely different dungeon environment.
”So this is the 6th floor… it really is a Labyrinth,” Seko said.
The cave walls were gone, replaced by endless brick corridors, just like the baseball guys had described.
”Goblins hide in the side rooms, right? Want to try it after we rest tomorrow?” Ogata asked.
”Let’s chill for a bit. We’ve got DP saved up. Let’s take three days off and ‘train’ Mika-san,” Yusa suggested.
”Hell yeah. I’ve been missing that Wall-Butt,” Seko grinned.
”If Coach’s party gets a ticket too, we should get Mika-san’s friend, Chiemi-san. Having two dumb girls would be way easier,” another added.
”Oh, that flat-chested airhead? Her ass is huge, though, and her psy was decent,” Seko said.
”Coach probably doesn’t care as long as they’re young,” Yusa noted.
Their small chests were a bit of a letdown, but they could just pump them full of breast-enlargement meds from the Shop.
They’d be happy, the boys would be happy. That Shop sold some amazing items.
As they walked toward the teleportation circle, Yusa stopped.
”Huh? Blood?”
There was a massive, dark smear on the floor near the teleporter.
”Maybe one of those former shut-ins got tagged?” Seko suggested.
”I heard the goblins here use clubs. Does a club make you bleed that much?” Ogata asked.
”Wait, are the goblins that strong?”
”My buddy in the baseball club said they were scrubs…”
”Maybe someone got their skull cracked open and panicked-ssu,” Ogata muttered.
”Well, I heard nobody except Koyama-senpai’s party is actually strong. We better watch our backs,” Yusa said.
They stepped onto the circle and warped back to the 4th floor where the coach was waiting.
On the way, they saw the ‘Shuhari’ guys and some other small guilds still hunting for Kurokawa-kun.
They pretended to look for a bit, met up with the coach, and helped him clear out a Monster House.
Then they watched as the coach’s group headed down toward the Guardian room.
Just had to do this one more time. Hehehe… while everyone was busy looking for a murderer, they were going to pull ahead.
But first, Yusa had to break in Mika-san and-if they were lucky-Chiemi-san.
He’d turn them into perfect little smen toilets. With girls that dumb, you just have to be ‘nice’ and praise them a bit, and they’ll happily be your toilet.
The 6th floor could wait. Everyone else was too distracted by the manhunt anyway.
Time for a nice, long break.
Seriously, Yusa had to thank Manda-san’s group for leaking the Guardian’s location.
—
Summary:
Yusa’s party successfully defeats the 5th-floor Guardian, the Kobold King, using their summon Kinta as a meat shield. They discover a Slave Exchange Ticket in a rare Pearl Chest and discuss purchasing a former classmate, Mika, to use as a s*x slave. The chapter concludes with the group moving to the 6th floor and noticing mysterious bloodstains near the teleportation circle.
—
Trivia:
- Yusa purposefully sacrificed Kinta’s health to save 10,000 DP.
- The ‘Enjoyment Group’ is avoiding the search for the murderer Kurokawa to progress in the dungeon.
- Manda’s group (who were previously killed) were the ones who leaked the Guardian’s location.
- Coach Hasebe’s implants are a result of past ‘troubles’ with women, reinforcing the danger of NTR situations.
- The 6th floor is a brick labyrinth, distinct from the previous cave floors
—
Character Insight:
Yusa demonstrates a chilling lack of empathy, viewing both his summons and female classmates purely as disposable tools or rewards. His pragmatic ‘demon’ persona is respected by his peers, who share his hedonistic goals.
—
Behind the Scenes:
The ‘semen toilet’ and ‘Wall-Butt’ concepts are dark erotica tropes that define the ‘Slave’ element of the story’s title.
