Chapter 52 Kanata, Shizuka, and Setsugekka, Part ⑤

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Kanata watched Kotono study the Dungeon Map with curiosity.

”Huh, so that’s how it works,” she said softly.

The three members of Setsugekka still hadn’t decided their next move. But they seemed intrigued by Kanata’s Dungeon. So he chose to explain it simply, using the monitor.

Leaking information worried him. Yet Maria’s reactions suggested she leaned toward joining him. Kanata decided to share only safe details.

Deep down, a darker thought lingered. If things went wrong, he could overpower all three and make them Breeding Vessels. With that in mind, he stayed relaxed. If they betrayed him, so be it.

”This Dungeon has nine floors,” Kanata said. “We’re in the residential space, the deepest part, on the ninth floor.”

He displayed the Dungeon Map on a screen for the girls to see.

”It looks… unbalanced?” Haruka said, tilting her head.

Kanata couldn’t blame her. The first floor was massive.

Originally, the Main Dungeon spanned about 3,000 square meters. Now, the first floor stretched across the surface—from the lake near Arlen Town to all of Aaren Plain. It covered the forest they stood in and reached south to the woods near Alfheim Kingdom.

To put it simply, it was three and a half times larger than Tokyo’s 23 wards. Its shape was uneven. The longest straight-line distance spanned over 60 kilometers.

As a Dungeon, straight paths didn’t exist. Crossing from one end to the other meant traveling over 3,500 kilometers.

Kanata had expanded it recklessly. He searched for easy surface exits and villages to target. That’s why it grew so wild.

Managing such a vast area was impossible. Kanata placed Teleportation Arrays at key spots. He organized those areas but left the rest untouched. Even he didn’t know what lurked in those neglected zones.

If trouble arose, he’d handle it. That was his plan.

Still, the Dungeon remained under his control. With enough mana, Kanata could reshape or manage it as he pleased.

The secret base they were in was one of those forgotten spots.

Someday, he wanted to control it all. But gathering enough mana would take a year. For now, he let it be.

The second floor hadn’t changed much from its original state. Yet reports hinted it was slowly growing, likely influenced by the first floor’s expansion.

The Dungeon’s core predicted it would match the first floor’s size in a year and a half. After that, both floors would evolve together.

By then, Kanata would have enough mana to manage it freely. He wasn’t concerned.

The third floor was different. Kanata had a reason to stop intruders there. He poured all spare mana into remodeling it.

The result: a long, straight path.

Every kilometer, a wide chamber held a boss-class Magical Beast. There were 30 chambers—30 bosses to fight.

This was Kanata’s challenge: Defeat these beasts to move forward.

But first, could anyone even survive the first floor’s vastness?

The fourth floor was a wide grassland with a few shops in the center. It was a place for weary adventurers to rest.

It had a safe inn, a cafeteria, and a material buyback spot.

The workers were girls from nearby villages. They came to serve and chose to stay forever with their families.

But few adventurers—their main customers—ever reached it.

The fifth and sixth floors were typical Dungeons. Except the monsters were brutally strong, the mazes complex, and the traps—mostly deadly—were everywhere.

”That’s not a normal Dungeon!” Haruka blurted.

 Kanata smirked.

The seventh floor was a classic Demon Lord’s Chamber. Adventurers from Flora Kingdom were sent straight there.

It had a straight path to a heavy door. A rest area sat just before it.

Beyond the door, Kanata’s throne awaited. A wide space stretched out in front.

”So, Kanata-kun’s a Demon Lord?” Haruka said, her tone sharp. “If we beat you, can we go home?”

 ”Not likely,” Kanata replied coolly.

He showed them the eighth floor. Like the fourth, it was a grassland. But it had springs, rivers, mines, and mountains. Plus, thriving settlements—more like a full town.

Teleportation Gates linked it to surface areas. Those with permission could move freely.

With Aaren Plain nearly his, Kanata’s Dungeon was a true territory.

”Join me, and I’ll let you manage this Residential Area,” he offered casually.

If it were that easy, he wouldn’t need to try so hard.

The girls grinned oddly. Shizuka looked like she wanted to speak but stayed quiet.

They’re plotting something, Kanata thought. He could sense that much.

But their exact plans? He couldn’t guess. That was typical of him.

No matter what they schemed, they were in his Dungeon. Kanata held the upper hand.

If needed, he could use a Collar of Subjugation on one of them. Force obedience through her. Or enslave them all.

In his Dungeon, that was simple. The moment he let them in, their fates were his to control. They didn’t seem to realize it.

* * *

Kanata noticed Haruka watching him as he explained the Dungeon proudly.

She sighed quietly, thinking no one caught it.

When Haruka learned he’d enslaved Shizuka, fury surged. She wanted him dead.

But there was a reason. Shizuka chose it herself. Hearing the full story, it felt trivial. So Kanata earned her grudging forgiveness.

To Haruka, Setsugekka’s members were her haven. A place to be herself. They were her closest friends.

Shizuka was no different—a vital teammate. Haruka’s ideal.

For Haruka, keeping the three together trumped everything. Returning to Japan? Unimportant. As long as they were safe and near, even under Almea’s obvious schemes, it was fine.

When Kotono and Maria chose to join Kanata, Haruka shrugged. “Better than the Royal Palace,” she thought.

Her priority was protecting her friends. Shizuka had already fallen to Kanata. No more could.

So she’d been probing Kanata for information, using any excuse.

But it was hopeless. They were trapped.

The Dungeon was Kanata’s domain. His Gift was unclear, but as Dungeon Master, he ruled here. Harming him was nearly impossible.

He’d keep his promise, even if they didn’t join. But would he free potential threats?

Kanata couldn’t be sure. Trusting him meant they’d already lost.

Escape? Impossible. The labyrinth’s size made it impassable. He’d catch them instantly with his free movement.

 Their freedom would vanish.

Trick him into letting them out? Pointless. He’d likely allow it if asked. But escaping outside wasn’t simple either.

While in his Dungeon’s reach, they were at his mercy. His whims decided all.

If he chose to enslave them now, resistance was futile.

Their only strength was Kotono’s magic and some leftover items. Even using everything to flee, they couldn’t leave this floor. Beating him wouldn’t change that.

Kanata held their lives in his grip. If he demanded slavery, Haruka would have no choice but to obey.

Yet he offered choices. Was it kindness? Or naive goodwill?

 Both, Haruka thought.

Opposing him was out. Kotono and Maria chose wisely.

So Haruka changed her approach. If they’d join Kanata, she’d secure better roles for her friends.

She sidled up to him, pressing close.

”Hey, Kanata-kun,” she said sweetly. “Can you easily build a town in the Dungeon?”

Her body brushed his arm, her chest against it. Most men would cave.

A shy high school boy might fall fast. But some men needed more, she knew.

Haruka was ready. If it came to it, she’d let him have her.

She’d never done it. The idea scared her. But for her friends, she’d sacrifice her body.

Truthfully, she wasn’t uninterested. Kanata as her first was fine. She also wanted revenge—to charm the one who took Shizuka’s first.

And secretly, she thrilled at the thought of being swept up in such moments.

Haruka thought she hid it, but she was a closet romantic.

Maria, perhaps sensing her intent, gently pulled her away.

Kanata, oblivious, bragged about his Dungeon Master powers.

Tonight, I’ll sneak into his room, Haruka decided silently.

* * *

That night, Kanata woke to a strange situation.

”Why… is this happening?” Haruka whimpered.

Her limbs were bound on his bed.

”You wanted this, didn’t you?” Kanata said.

 ”That’s not…” Haruka faltered.

 She couldn’t deny it completely.

She’d snuck into Kanata’s room, avoiding notice. Her plan: drug him to sleep, bind him, and tease him.

It worked at first. He didn’t wake when shaken. She tied his limbs to the bed. Started stripping his clothes.

She reached his pants, yanking them down. Something impressive stood out.

That’s where her memory stopped. Somehow, their roles reversed.

”This won’t end well for you!” Haruka snapped.

”That’s my line,” Kanata shot back.

His hands moved to her clothes.

She squirmed, but the bindings held her fast.

 ”No! Stop!” she cried.

”It’s too late now,” Kanata said.

Kanata ignored Haruka’s struggles. Her bound limbs kept her pinned to the bed.

 ”No! Stop!” she cried.

 ”It’s too late,” Kanata said.

He lifted her clothes and pushed her undergarments aside. His hands moved roughly, gripping her tightly.

Haruka gasped, a sharp cry escaping her lips. Kanata continued, unfazed, his touch firm and unrelenting.

What is this? Haruka thought, overwhelmed. She’d never felt this way before. Her own touch never stirred her like this. A man’s hands were different—intense, strange.

No, this isn’t right! she told herself, fighting the sensations. But her body betrayed her, responding despite her protests.

”You’re feeling it, aren’t you?” Kanata teased, smirking.

 ”I’m not!” Haruka snapped.

But her body told a different story, reacting visibly. Kanata’s grin widened as he tightened his grip.

Haruka yelped, pain flashing through her. But then a strange warmth followed, easing the sting. She didn’t understand it.

Kanata’s touch softened, slow and deliberate. The pain faded, replaced by a confusing comfort that spread through her.

He grew bolder, his hands teasing with skill. Haruka’s breath hitched, soft sounds slipping out despite herself.

Why is this happening? she thought, lost in the unfamiliar waves of feeling. Her mind struggled to keep up.

”Feeling good, huh?” Kanata said, his voice mocking.

”No way!” Haruka shot back, but her words lacked strength. His touch overwhelmed her, scattering her thoughts.

Her body ached in ways she couldn’t ignore. She shifted, unaware, trying to ease the tension.

Kanata leaned close, his breath hot against her ear. He whispered something, sending a shiver through her.

”No!” Haruka cried, her voice breaking. “Stop!”

But it was no use. A rush hit her, overwhelming and unstoppable. She trembled, ashamed, as her body reacted beyond her control.

Am I… losing it? she thought, humiliated.

 ”It’s not over,” Kanata said.

His hands returned, rougher now, claiming her with every move. Pain and pleasure mixed, confusing her further. Yet part of her felt drawn to it.

”You like this, don’t you?” Kanata whispered.

Haruka’s heart raced. He was right, and that scared her. She didn’t answer, but he laughed, knowing.

He gripped her again, harder. Pain sparked, then melted into warmth. Haruka’s mind spun, unable to find answers.

Why does it feel good? she wondered, dazed.

Kanata didn’t stop. His hands moved lower, bolder, brushing sensitive places.

”No, not there!” Haruka pleaded, trying to pull away. But the bindings held her fast.

His touch was relentless, sparking sensations she’d never known. Haruka had only been with girls before. This was new—terrifying, yet overwhelming.

What happens if I give in? she thought, fear mixing with the rush. She didn’t know what she’d become.

Kanata ignored her inner turmoil, his touch unyielding. Haruka could only endure, swept away by the intensity.

Finally, he paused, satisfied. Haruka lay there, exhausted, her breath ragged.

”Ready now?” Kanata asked, his voice calm.

”What?” Haruka mumbled, a bad feeling rising.

She noticed her lower clothes were gone. She tried to move, but then realized—her bindings were loose.

 How? she wondered.

Before she could act, Kanata grabbed her legs, pulling them apart.

”You like girls, right?” he said. “I’ll show you a man’s worth.”

”No, please!” Haruka begged, real fear hitting her.

I was a fool, she thought. Teasing him, thinking I could control him—it was impossible from the start.

”Maria! Kotono! Shizuka! Help!” she screamed.

No one came. Kanata moved closer, his intent clear. He pressed forward, and Haruka felt him.

She gasped, shock silencing her. Kanata moved slowly at first, then faster. The sound of their bodies echoed in the room.

Haruka couldn’t think. Pain should have been there, but instead, a strange pleasure grew. Her first time, yet it felt good—too good.

Why? she thought, scared by her own body’s response.

The intensity built, overwhelming her. She felt it coming, unstoppable, and it terrified her.

 No, I can’t! she thought.

But her body didn’t listen. It tightened, responding to Kanata’s rhythm. Then it hit—a powerful release, mirrored by his own.

Haruka cried out, shaking. Her body betrayed her again, reacting wildly.

”No, no, no!” she gasped, lost in the feeling.

Kanata didn’t stop. He kept moving, pushing her further.

 ”I can’t… it’s too much!” she pleaded.

Her cries turned to moans, each one louder. Kanata shifted, trying new angles, relentless.

Haruka’s voice broke, words tumbling out without sense. She was lost, swept away by the sensations.

The cycle continued—over and over, until Haruka’s strength faded. Finally, she passed out.

* * *

The next morning, Haruka woke on the bed. Kanata slept beside her, his face peaceful, almost innocent. For a moment, she wondered if it was all a dream.

But the ache in her body proved it real. She groaned softly.

Kanata stirred, waking up. “Morning, Haruka-chan. Sleep well?”

”Terrible,” Haruka muttered, her voice bitter. Inside, her feelings churned—anger, shame, confusion.

”Still not enough?” Kanata said, pulling her close from behind.

Haruka froze, startled. Before she could protest, he moved again, slow and deliberate. Her body responded, soft sounds escaping her lips.

”What are you doing?” she snapped, trying to resist.

Kanata didn’t stop. His pace quickened, ignoring her words.

”No, stop!” she cried, but her voice weakened. “Oh… no…”

Her protests mixed with gasps, the sensations overtaking her.

Kanata kissed her, silencing her cries. His lips were forceful, claiming her.

Haruka struggled, muffled sounds escaping. But his rhythm didn’t falter.

 ”No… stop…” she mumbled between kisses. “I can’t… it’s too much…”

Kanata pressed harder, targeting her weaknesses. Haruka’s body arched, overwhelmed again.

 ”I can’t… I’m going to…” she gasped.

Her voice broke, calling his name, confessing feelings she didn’t understand. “Kanata… I… I like you…”

”You like me?” Kanata said, grinning. “Be my slave, then.”

”Yes!” Haruka cried, lost in the moment. “I like you, Kanata… If it makes you happy, I’ll be anything… Just don’t stop!”

Kanata’s smile grew. He moved faster, pushing her to the edge.

 ”I’m… I can’t!” Haruka screamed, overwhelmed again.

”I’m there too,” Kanata said. “Here it comes.”

 ”Please!” Haruka gasped.

A rush hit them both, intense and consuming. Haruka trembled, her body reacting beyond her control.

Kanata kept going, relentless. The sounds of their movement filled the room, marking the sheets.

”Here’s your favorite spot, right?” Kanata said, targeting her weakness.

Haruka’s body arched sharply, a cry tearing from her throat. “No, not there!”

 Too weak, she thought.

”No!” she screamed, but another wave hit her.

Kanata didn’t stop, pushing harder. Haruka’s pleas turned to moans, her strength fading.

 ”I can’t take more…” she whispered, exhausted.

Kanata leaned close. “Men aren’t so bad, right?”

Haruka shook her head weakly. “Men are awful… but you, Kanata… maybe you’re okay.”

She kissed him lightly, a fleeting touch. Kanata sighed, pulling her close. They shared soft kisses, lingering in the moment.
