Chapter 72 Mercuria Kingdom Uprising (Part ③)
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
”Kanata, it’s going as planned,” Tsubasa said, visiting a week after the Otaku Trio set their scheme in motion. “Mercuria Kingdom sent a messenger.”
”Took them long enough,” Kanata said.
”Don’t be ridiculous,” Tsubasa replied. “This isn’t Japan—info travels slow here. This was fast, trust me.”
”Really?” Kanata said, raising an eyebrow.
He’s been too focused on Demonkin and ancient artifacts lately, Kanata thought. Demonkin often had skills to share thoughts across distances, some even with telepathy.
Ancient civilization artifacts, like Earth’s radios, let Kanata’s group swap info quickly. But in this world, most relied on word of mouth or pigeons, which slowed things down, especially over long distances. By that standard, Tsubasa was right—Mercuria moved fast.
”What’d they say?” Kanata asked.
”Exactly what we expected,” Tsubasa said. “Hand over the rebels. Pay up. No room for talks.”
”Figures,” Kanata said. “Their real goal’s the Dungeon.”
”Yup,” Tsubasa said, grinning. “They’ll provoke us into a fight at Aran Fortress [T/N: Northern stronghold] to distract us, then send a big army to seize the Dungeon. They know we can’t spare troops for both.”
Tsubasa laughed.
The Dungeon was bait—they didn’t need to defend it. Mercuria fell right into their trap.
”As planned, we’ll send most of Double Wing’s troops to the Northern Region [T/N: Battlefront area], keeping just enough for the fortress,” Tsubasa said. “That okay?”
”Yeah, no issue here,” Kanata said. “How many troops?”
”About three thousand,” Tsubasa said.
”That’s… low,” Kanata said. “Mercuria’s army is five to seven thousand. Can we hold with half that?”
”No problem,” Tsubasa said. “Morita-kun’s in charge, and a few Heroes will lead the charge. We won’t go down easy.”
Kanata hadn’t seen his classmates fight, so he wasn’t sure.
”I get the worry,” Tsubasa said. “But Morita-kun’s skills shine in battles like this, and the princess keeps everyone’s spirits high. Mercuria’s just stalling, so we won’t slip up.”
”True,” Kanata said. Mercuria’s real target was the Dungeon, so their fortress attack was just to pin Double Wing down. If Double Wing’s forces were thin, Mercuria might try to crush them fast, but with a solid group, they’d avoid risky moves. They’d skirmish, keep losses low, and buy time—exactly what Kanata wanted. Couldn’t help but smirk at how perfectly they’re playing into our hands.
”So, what’s your next move?” Tsubasa asked.
”I’ll leave the Dungeon to you and head to Mercuria’s Dungeon,” Kanata said.
It’d been a while since he learned about the Dungeon under Mercuria. Finally, he thought, though he’d been swamped, so it couldn’t be helped.
”You think I’m free?” Tsubasa muttered.
”You’re not going alone, are you?” El said, cutting in after listening silently.
”Nah, I’m taking Faris,” Kanata said.
”What? That doll?” El snapped. “Take me!”
”Mercuria’s Dungeon might be linked to Faris’s old one,” Kanata said. “And I need you here, El. You’re the only one I trust with this.”
El’s face lit up at “only one I trust.” “Fine,” she said.
”But that doll won’t cut it. Take more people.”
Kanata thought it over.
An unknown Dungeon needed decent fighters, but he had to leave some here. Versatility was key.
”Alright,” he said. “Maya, Miyako, and Princess Sakura.”
Maya’s skills were perfect for scouting an unknown Dungeon, and a magic user was a must. Miyako’s magic meshed well with Maya’s, though her skills also suited Dungeon defense, making Kanata hesitate. Princess Sakura was pure muscle.
She’d fought fiercely to let others escape when Kanata fell into Tsubasa’s trap, nearly dying in the oni’s hidden village. Alice saved her, but Kanata felt guilty for not returning sooner. Still owe her for that.
Sakura, an Ogrekin Tribe [T/N: Youkai-like warrior race], was tougher than ever now, bursting with energy.
Letting her cut loose in Mercuria’s Dungeon seemed safer than leaving her with Tsubasa—she wasn’t fond of him since that trap. This team balanced well: Maya scouting, Sakura in the vanguard, Miyako in the rear, and Kanata skirmishing.
”Take Alice too,” El said suddenly.
”You sure?” Kanata asked. “With injuries likely, her healing’s critical here.”
”Maria can heal, and Haruka’s got potions,” El said. “I just… feel Alice should go with you.”
”Your foresight?” Kanata asked.
”Probably,” El said.
Since becoming Kanata’s navigator, El had a knack for “gut feelings” about what to do.
Not grand prophecies, but they were never wrong and often saved the day. Kanata trusted them.
”Got it,” Kanata said. “Alice comes too. Tsubasa, you’re in charge here.”
Kanata left the Main Room to prepare for his trip.
* * *
”‘Handle it,’ he says,” Tsubasa muttered, scanning the room.
El, a Lesser minor spirit race, sat on the console, looking annoyed. Shizuka sulked, wanting to go with Kanata but too shy to say it.
The Setsugekka [T/N: Group name, lit. Snow-Moon-Flower] crew comforted her, while Demonkin Amisa, Rena, and Saria eyed Tsubasa suspiciously.
Not exactly hated, but definitely not welcome, Tsubasa thought. Like sitting on pins.
Kanata treated Tsubasa like a close friend, so no one showed open hostility. But Tsubasa’s past betrayal—trapping Kanata—made him unpopular.
I’d rather not come here, Tsubasa thought. But Kanata kept summoning him.
To avoid trouble, Tsubasa only visited when the feminization potion wore off, reverting him to male. The catch? Haruka, the alchemist, made the potion and only gave him one dose at a time.
And when he came to get it…
”Giggle! Time for your medicine, Tsubasa-kun,” Haruka said, smirking as she approached.
”Here or in a room?” she asked, waving the vial.
”Room,” Tsubasa muttered.
”Alrighty, let’s go!” Haruka said, linking arms with him and dragging him to a private room, waving to the others. “Take care of things!”
* * *
”So, Tsubasa-kun,” Haruka said, grinning. “Painful medicine or pleasant one?”
The painful one, tailored to Tsubasa’s body, hurt like hell during the gender shift—unbearable, no matter how often he endured it. But it lasted a month.
The pleasant one? No pain, but it wore off in a week or ten days. And…
”Pleasant,” Tsubasa said.
”Wanna sip it from my lips?” Haruka teased.
”I’ll drink it myself!” Tsubasa snapped, snatching the vial and chugging it.
A wave of sleep hit him hard.
”Sweet dreams, Tsubasa-chan,” Haruka said, her sly smile the last thing he saw as his consciousness faded.
The potion knocked him out, reshaping his body painlessly.
When he woke, he’d be female. His mind sank into darkness.
* * *
”Giggle! Morning, Tsubasa-chan,” Haruka said, peering at him as he woke.
”Ugh…” Tsubasa groaned.
A surge of pleasure hit, rising from within. He tried to move, but his arms and legs were bound to the bed.
”Wanna have some fun?” Haruka asked, her fingers trailing over his skin.
”Stop it…” Tsubasa said, straining against the bindings.
”Really want me to stop?” Haruka whispered in his ear.
He did, but his female body didn’t.
The potion always did this—stirring unbearable urges. Haruka knew it and bound him to tease, leaving him helpless.
It was better than the painful potion, but still…
”Stop… ugh!” Tsubasa gasped.
”You want release, don’t you?” Haruka said, leaning closer. “Your body’s begging for it.”
She nibbled his earlobe, tracing its shape with her tongue.
”Ngh!” Tsubasa shuddered.
”Want it, Tsubasa-chan?” Haruka breathed, her warm voice sending chills through him.
Tsubasa couldn’t resist.
The female body overwhelmed him. “Yes… I want it…”
Haruka’s tongue moved down, kissing his neck softly.
”Ah!” Tsubasa gasped.
She kissed his collarbone, each touch deliberate.
”I’ll show you a girl’s pleasure,” Haruka said, freeing his hands.
She straddled him, pressing her lips to his. Her tongue slipped in, slow and warm, deepening the kiss.
”Mmph!” Tsubasa moaned.
The sensation overwhelmed him, like his whole body was being caressed.
Haruka pulled back, then kissed his chest, teasing the sensitive skin.
”Ahh!” Tsubasa cried, lost in the feeling.
What is this? he thought. It was ticklish yet intense, a strange mix.
”How’s it feel?” Haruka asked, giggling.
”N-No way…” Tsubasa stammered.
This is too much… Every time he became female, Haruka’s touch felt new, like his body was remade fresh each time.
Even his first time—taken by Kanata—reset with each change. Haruka knew and kept it secret, using it to control him.
She didn’t stop, kissing his navel, her tongue dipping inside.
”Ngh! No, stop!” Tsubasa cried.
”Cute, Tsubasa-chan,” Haruka said, smirking. She kissed his lips again, soft and quick.
”Mmph…” Tsubasa gasped between kisses.
Haruka deepened the kiss again, her tongue moving with purpose. Wet sounds filled the room.
No… I can’t… Tsubasa thought, overwhelmed.
Haruka pulled back, leaving him breathless.
Haruka leaned close, her lips brushing Tsubasa’s ear instead of his mouth.
”Hah… hah…” Tsubasa panted. Is it over?
But Haruka wasn’t done. She nibbled his earlobe gently, sending shivers through him.
”Ah! Ngh!” Tsubasa gasped, twisting under the sensation.
Haruka giggled, continuing to tease his ear.
”Mmph… mmm…” she murmured.
”Hah… hah…!” Tsubasa breathed heavily.
Haruka’s kisses targeted his sensitive spots, layering sensations that overwhelmed him. This… it’s driving me crazy…
His mind reeled from the unfamiliar intensity. Haruka pulled back, then licked his neck, her breath tickling the damp skin.
”Ah… ah!” Tsubasa gasped.
”Your neck’s so sensitive, Tsubasa-chan,” Haruka teased, sliding her tongue lower.
”Ngh… ah…” Tsubasa’s body trembled.
Haruka’s tongue reached his chest, circling the sensitive skin slowly.
”Oh! Ahh!” Tsubasa cried, a surge of sensation ripping through him. What’s this? I’ve never felt anything like it!
He squirmed, lost in the new intensity. Haruka smiled, gently continuing.
”Ah… ngh!” Tsubasa moaned.
My body won’t stop shaking… Each touch sank into him, itching and thrilling at once.
”Nice reaction,” Haruka said, teasing the skin with her tongue.
”Don’t you want more?” she asked, her fingers brushing lower, finding him already overwhelmed.
”No… that’s not…” Tsubasa stammered, denying it despite his body’s reaction.
No way… he thought, fighting the sensation.
Haruka giggled. “What’s this, then?”
Her fingers moved, drawing a sharp reaction from Tsubasa.
”Ah! Oh!” His body jolted.
”You’re feeling it, aren’t you?” Haruka said, not stopping.
”Ngh! Ahh!” No… this is too much…
Haruka kissed lower, pressing her lips there and lingering.
”Oh! No!” Tsubasa cried, arching as the sensation hit. What’s happening to me?
It felt like she was pulling at his core. Haruka’s tongue moved, intensifying everything.
”No… stop!” Tsubasa pleaded.
Why did it feel so strong just from her touch? I’m losing it…
Haruka didn’t stop, pressing further.
”Ahh! No!” Tsubasa gasped.
”Cute, Tsubasa-chan,” Haruka said, moving her tongue deliberately.
”Mmph… mmm…” No… I can’t take this…
Tsubasa’s body shook, unable to handle the intensity. Haruka’s relentless touch pushed him further.
”No! Stop! I can’t!” Tsubasa cried.
”Giggle. Just let go, Tsubasa-chan,” Haruka said, her fingers moving faster, targeting sensitive spots.
”No… please, I don’t want to…” Tsubasa begged.
But Haruka ignored him, pushing harder.
”Ngh… ahh! No… no!” Tsubasa’s voice broke.
”Let go,” Haruka whispered.
She pressed harder, and Tsubasa couldn’t hold back.
”No… no, no! I’m… I’m—!”
A wave crashed over him, and he collapsed onto the bed, gasping.
”Hah… hah…” What was that? I’ve never…
The sensation overwhelmed him, leaving his mind blank. Haruka smiled, sitting up.
”How was my tongue?” she asked, smirking.
”Hah… hah…” Too much…
Tsubasa’s body still trembled. Haruka stroked him gently, then leaned in again.
”Mmph…” Not again…
Her touch sent shivers through him. Why does it feel so good?
Haruka kissed him deeply, her fingers brushing lower again.
”Ngh! Mmph!” No… I’m feeling it again…
Each touch sank into him, draining his strength.
Stop… I’ll lose it…
But Haruka kept going, her kisses and touches relentless.
”Why… why do you always do this?” Tsubasa asked, breathless.
”Well,” Haruka said, holding a wriggling toy, “last night, Kanata had his way with me.”
She moved the toy closer.
”I like girls, you know. Kanata knows it, but he still does it—sometimes in front of girls I like.”
The toy grazed Tsubasa’s skin.
”No… stop…” Tsubasa pleaded.
Haruka teased the edge with it, ignoring his protests.
”So… I’m taking it out on you,” she said cutely, pressing the toy deeper.
”That’s not fair… ahh!” Tsubasa cried as it moved.
”Giggle. We’ve got plenty of time,” Haruka said.
”Please… stop…” Tsubasa begged.
”Nope, Tsubasa-chan. You’re too cute,” Haruka teased. “Blame Kanata!”
Her teasing, fueled by spite and pleasure, filled the room with Tsubasa’s gasps until morning.
