Chapter 84 Mercuria Kingdom Uprising, Part ⑮
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
”Well, figures,” Tsubasa muttered with a sigh.
When Tsubasa led the army into the Royal Capital of Melmarc, the city was a whirlwind of chaos, awe, and overwhelming joy.
”The king’s triumphant return!” someone shouted, and the crowd parted to clear a path.
Yet, on both sides of the road, people swarmed, eager for a glimpse of their king. Their numbers only grew, showing no sign of thinning. Tsubasa, left with no choice, ordered a carriage to the center of the procession, its windows open so the crowd could see inside. Riding within were the former King of Melmarc, Danan de Melmarc XII, his daughter, Princess Melshy Melmarc, and her maid, Cathy. Surrounding the carriage were the Heroes—Kudo, Tsukamoto, and Taichi—standing guard with unwavering resolve.
Another carriage, supporting the royal seat, carried the three women of Setsugekka and Taniella, heroines who had shone brightly in this ordeal. Soldiers marched in disciplined ranks before and behind, their hearts brimming with the joy of returning home safely. We made it back, they thought, their delight almost tangible. The possibility of clashing with allies in these very streets had loomed like a shadow of despair. But when they learned the coup faction had been captured and the king’s return was awaited, they embraced their comrades, tears streaming down their faces.
Forced to march under the coup faction’s orders, some soldiers had fallen in meaningless battles. Beaten down to half their strength, they faced a royal decree from the princess and king to surrender. A few cried out, “Betrayal?” but the majority silenced them. We’re soldiers of the kingdom, they reasoned. Our loyalty lies with the king, not the rebels. Joining forces with other soldiers under separate orders, their army swelled to over ten thousand, finally setting out for home.
Yet, as they neared the Royal Capital, unease sprouted. Over thirty thousand soldiers remained in Melmarc, loyal to the coup faction. Would they brand Tsubasa’s forces as traitors and attack? The city’s formidable defenses were no secret to the soldiers, who wondered if they could breach them to return safely.
It was Princess Melshy and the other women who lifted their spirits. Gentle words from kind, charming girls could inspire any man to press on—soldiers, after all, were simple creatures. At night, when the camp fell silent, the Succubus Tribe moved in the shadows. Guided by Kanata’s strict orders to avoid excess, they soothed the soldiers’ fears, offering hope for tomorrow in exchange for just a touch of their vitality. With ten thousand soldiers, even small amounts ensured the Succubus Tribe could thrive for a year.
Despite the challenges, the army marched on with high morale. What greeted them was a sight to behold: the heads of the coup faction’s nobles displayed as a warning, the townsfolk cheering their return, and, from the Royal Palace’s balcony, Princess Alusia waving with a radiant smile, projected across the city.

”So, Kanata, did you manage to rescue Alice-chan?” Tsubasa asked, a troubled look crossing his face.
”Yeah, she’s resting in a separate room now,” Kanata replied, his expression equally strained.
The reason for their unease sat before them. Across from Kanata was King Danan of Melmarc, flanked by his daughters, First Princess Melshy and Second Princess Alusia. Opposite Alusia sat Leticia, former princess of Flora Kingdom, and her aide, Misia. Between them, the three women of Setsugekka and Tsubasa’s aide, Sayaka, watched the scene with amused curiosity.
The problem? A heated debate over leadership.
”As I’ve said,” King Danan declared, “it is only right that Kanata-dono rule this kingdom. I was ousted by the coup faction, and Kanata, who seized the city core, is the rightful leader.”
Melshy and Alusia backed their father’s claim. Melshy’s motives were personal—if Kanata took the throne, she’d be free to marry Tsukamoto without royal obligations. Alusia, bolder still, insisted Kanata take responsibility as her husband. Husband? Kanata thought, his head spinning.
Leticia and Misia, however, objected. For once, the reclusive Leticia spoke up. “Kanata is already king of Flora Kingdom,” she argued. “If he rules Mercuria, it must become a vassal state to Flora.” Misia nodded in agreement.
Flora Kingdom, led by beastmen, and Mercuria Kingdom, human-centric, were separated by the neutral Rubia Dukedom. Though not openly hostile, a subtle distrust lingered between human and demi-human races. The idea of one kingdom bowing to the other sparked resistance.
”Hey, Kanata,” Tsubasa whispered. “This won’t settle unless you step in.”
”I know, but…” Kanata sighed. There’s more at stake. After seizing the city core and rescuing Alice, he’d uncovered something about the Heroes—something critical. He needed to gather everyone later to discuss it, as it could render debates over Mercuria or Flora moot.
”Fine,” Kanata said at last. “Alusia, I appoint you as Mercuria Kingdom’s representative and grant you proxy authority over the city core.” A bracelet, the symbol of proxy, appeared on Alusia’s wrist, granting her 98% control over the city core’s functions. “King Danan, Princess Melshy, please support her.”
Rings materialized on Danan and Melshy’s fingers, each granting 60% core authority. Alusia pouted. “Why does nee-sama get a ring?” she demanded.
”Huh?” Kanata blinked, confused.
”Why didn’t I get a ring?” Alusia pressed.
Leticia giggled, flaunting a small, jewel-encrusted ring on her finger—an artifact Kanata had crafted long ago for communication, now a symbol of her bond with Misia, who wore a matching one. I forgot I even made those, Kanata thought, flustered. The rings, designed to aid Leticia’s reclusive tendencies, had become a point of playful jealousy.
Alusia glared at the ring on Leticia’s finger, her eyes blazing with envy as she shot Kanata a frustrated look. “Hmph!”
”Uh, yeah, I’ll… figure something out later,” Kanata mumbled, issuing the bare minimum of orders before bolting from the room. Behind him, the three women of Setsugekka smirked, their grins unwavering.
* * *
A week had passed since the struggle over Mercuria’s throne, and the kingdom was finally settling. Kanata, ready to return to the Dungeon, schemed to tie up loose ends in Mercuria. Loose ends… like getting my hands on Taniella’s figure, he thought, a glint in his eye. Her striking presence had eluded him due to poor timing, but he was determined to claim that moment, to see her sway with every move, just once. Just once.
Yet Taniella was no mere prize. She had deftly navigated the coup faction’s demands, minimizing harm, and answered Princess Melshy’s call without hesitation, persuading soldiers to stand down. A hidden hero of the uprising, she deserved respect—making Kanata’s approach trickier. If I can’t act directly, I’ll make her come to me, he decided.
Kanata burned the midnight oil, gathering intelligence. Using the city core’s full power and Faris’s analytical skills, he zeroed in on a girl standing before him now: Phasma.
Phasma’s father, once part of the coup faction, had faced execution or enslavement based on his involvement. Some, unmoved by Alusia’s pleas, chose death over surrender, a choice Kanata dismissed as self-indulgent nonsense. The wives and children of the guilty, including Phasma, were enslaved—a punishment Kanata framed as mercy but, in truth, a means to secure Dungeon Points (DP) through their labor. These women would serve that purpose for years to come. Phasma, too, was bound to this fate.
What set Phasma apart was her connection to Taniella. Her father had once aided Taniella, guiding her with wisdom. Taniella had called him “a noble man who always thought of the people,” making his betrayal in joining the coup a bitter shock. In that pain, Kanata saw his chance to sway her.

”Harder,” Kanata ordered, gripping Phasma’s head and guiding her firmly.
The girl winced, tears streaming as she struggled to comply, her lips trembling to avoid causing pain. “Good girl,” Kanata said with a satisfied smile, moving her head rhythmically. Each motion brought a wave of discomfort, but Phasma endured, fighting back nausea. When Kanata reached his limit, he pulled away, releasing across her face. She flinched, trying to turn aside, but he held her firmly.
”Swallow,” he commanded.
With no choice, Phasma forced down the bitter taste, her face contorted. “Good girl,” Kanata repeated, untying her ropes. “Now, finish on your own.”
”Y-Yes…” Tears fell as Phasma complied, her body tense with fear and unable to find ease. Her pained expression betrayed her struggle.
”What’s wrong? Hurry up,” Kanata snapped, seizing her head again and forcing himself upon her. Phasma’s muffled cries filled the room as she fought to keep up, her tongue moving desperately. When Kanata reached his peak again, he unleashed a flood she could barely contain, swallowing what she could.
Panting, Phasma collapsed, her shoulders heaving. As Kanata grabbed her head for another round, the door swung open with a clatter.
”What are you doing?” Taniella’s voice cut through the air, sharp with disbelief.
”Training,” Kanata replied coolly. “She’s headed for a life as a servant, pleasing men day in and day out.”
”But… you said you’d free Phasma!” Taniella cried. Kanata had lured her here, promising Phasma’s release if she came alone. And she had.
”She’s the daughter of a coup traitor. Punishment is only natural, isn’t it?” Kanata said, his tone unyielding. “But if you want to save her, there’s a price. You understand, don’t you?”
He pulled Phasma close, resuming his dominance as she whimpered in distress. Taniella’s eyes widened. “Fine,” she said, her voice trembling but resolute. “Use me instead. That’s what you wanted, isn’t it?”
Kanata smirked. Exactly. Releasing Phasma, he turned to Taniella, revealing himself. “Can you handle it in her place?”
Taniella nodded faintly, opening her small mouth and cautiously taking him in. Her tongue moved delicately, exploring with care. The sensation fueled Kanata’s intensity, growing until it overwhelmed her. She pressed on, determined, even as it became too much. Her muffled sounds mixed effort with strain as she fought to please him.
When Kanata reached his peak, a rush overwhelmed Taniella. She pulled back, coughing, caught off guard. “Come on,” Kanata chided. “You’ve got to take it all.”
”S-Sorry…” Taniella opened her mouth, revealing the remnants. Kanata didn’t hesitate, pressing himself forward again, deeper this time, moving with force. Tears welled in her eyes as she struggled under his grip, her breaths ragged. Another release followed, spilling over as she swallowed what she could, the excess dripping from her lips.
”Not bad,” Kanata said, pulling away. Taniella’s face glistened, her expression a mix of defiance and resignation. “Now, let’s try those curves.”
He tore at her clothing, exposing her full figure, and pressed himself between her softness. The sensation was exquisite, each motion deliberate. Taniella gasped softly, her voice caught between protest and something else. A faint trickle escaped him, trailing across her skin.
”What’s that?” Kanata teased. “Feeling something?”
”N-No…” Taniella stammered, her face flushed, caught in the tension of her sacrifice.
Taniella turned her face away, cheeks burning with shame, but her body betrayed her, responding despite her will. Kanata, catching the signs, smirked with a hint of mischief. He drew back, then pressed himself against her most vulnerable spot.
”Ngh… what are you—” Taniella’s words were cut off as he moved swiftly, overwhelming her senses.
”Ahh! So sudden… so deep!” she cried, her back arching sharply. The intensity gripped them both, and Kanata, unable to hold back, released in a rush. Too quick, he thought, but the thrill lingered.
”It’s… so warm…” Taniella murmured, her body trembling faintly. She knew this was far from over.
”No time to rest,” Kanata said, lying back and guiding her atop him. “Move on your own.”
”Y-Yes…” Taniella’s voice wavered as she began, her movements hesitant at first. Gradually, she found a rhythm, her figure swaying with growing intensity as she chased fleeting pleasure. Her breaths came in soft gasps, her form a mesmerizing dance.
”Ngh… ah… ahh…”
Each motion sent ripples through her, captivating Kanata. That sway… irresistible. Her fervor reignited his own, and as her pace quickened, he felt the surge return.
”Ah… ah… ahh…”
The rhythm built, her movements almost frenzied. She’s lost in it, Kanata thought, watching her surrender to the moment.
”Ngh! I can’t… I’m done… I’m—” Taniella’s cry broke as her body shuddered, overwhelmed by release. The intensity drew Kanata over the edge, her tightness pulling everything from him.
She collapsed onto him, spent, her consciousness slipping. But Kanata wasn’t finished. “Hey, wake up,” he said sharply.
Taniella stirred, her eyes hazy, but Kanata pressed on, shifting positions and continuing without pause. “Ngh… ah… ahh…” Her voice rose again, caught in the relentless cycle.
Finally sated, Kanata pulled away. Taniella lay there, breathless, her body marked by the ordeal, the evidence of their encounter undeniable. Like a vision, he thought, satisfied.
”Now, I’ve kept you waiting,” he said, turning to Phasma, who had watched in silence, her eyes wide with fear and shame. “A promise is a promise, Taniella. I’ll take only her purity.”
Kanata’s fingers grazed Phasma’s trembling form, tracing her with deliberate care. “Ngh…” she gasped, her voice small.
He moved slowly, exploring her sensitivity, then pressed deeper. Phasma’s body quaked at the unfamiliar sensation, but Kanata continued, his touch methodical. Her soft cries grew louder, her resistance fading under the overwhelming stimulus.
”Ahh!” Phasma’s body convulsed, reaching a peak as her breaths came in ragged gasps. Seizing the moment, Kanata pressed forward, claiming her fully.
”Ahh!” Her cry turned to a moan, her voice betraying a mix of pain and reluctant pleasure. Kanata quickened, driven to heighten her response. “Ah… ah… ahh…” Her sounds softened, fading into surrender.
”Aaah!” Phasma arched, her body tightening as Kanata followed, their shared intensity leaving her trembling. She felt that, he noted, seeing the evidence of her reaction.
”Not done yet,” he said, continuing with renewed vigor. Phasma’s cries grew desperate. “No… I can’t… I’m already—” Her pleas dissolved into a scream as Kanata pushed her beyond her limits, relentless in his pursuit.

Days later, Taniella and others gathered to bid Kanata’s group farewell as they prepared to return to the Dungeon. Amid the farewells, Kanata leaned close to Taniella, whispering, “Visit sometime. Leave it too long, and she might suffer.”
His glance flicked to Phasma, who stood apart from the other enslaved, wearing only a collar—no chains, no cell. The special treatment was clear, and Taniella’s relief was tinged with frustration, her lips tightening as she bit back her anger.
”Forget what her fate depends on,” Kanata added, stepping away. Taniella stood rigid, her jaw clenched.
Later, Tsubasa learned of Kanata’s actions and told Alice, who unleashed a half-day lecture on him. A month passed before Phasma was freed, allowed to return to Taniella’s side.
