Chapter 138-2

Seeing her nervousness, she might be inexperienced or “lacking” in that area.
If that’s the case, stopping here might cause embarrassment. Since I just want to get things done, I don’t mind at all.
With that in mind, I decided to wait for Ms. Casa’s preparations.
”Well, then… please accept my thanks for the other day.”
Saying that, I decided to catch her as she leaned over.

To sum it up, it was my first time with Ms. Casa. She seemed to enjoy herself, her movements lively and energetic.
However, on the floor nearby, about six other women were gathered, all looking a bit disheveled.
This was because, after Ms. Casa was done, Ms. Marisa arrived with five female employees and introduced them to me.
The women who were brought seemed to owe something to the merchant guild Amiras. They had come willingly, saying they had brought great benefits to the guild.
When told that, there was no reason to refuse unless I didn’t like their appearance. So, I decided to enjoy it without hesitation.
Among them was Ms. Marisa, Ms. Casa’s mother, who seemed to be the most enthusiastic.
She said it had been a while, so it seems she really hadn’t slept with seduced customers.
If that’s the case, I should keep the fact that I had a relationship with her under wraps.
It’s fine if I’m envied and attacked, but it’s not good if the target of that anger is Ms. Marisa.
I should make sure to explain that properly.

After tidying up, I left the room with the five female employees, leaving Ms. Casa and Ms. Marisa behind.
The two of them seemed relaxed, as if they’d just shared a moment. I hoped it wouldn’t look like I’d turned them down, as that could cause trouble.
Given how many maids I’d already been involved with in the mansion, I figured people might just think I was overly interested in women, which would explain the situation.
Of course, if it became known that even Ms. Casa and Ms. Marisa were involved, it might raise eyebrows.
So, I decided to have them stay in the room a little longer to cool down their bodies.
However…
”Hey, just a little more… okay? ♡”
”Ah, then I will too…♡”
With that, I decided to accept a bit more gratitude from the mother and daughter, who leaned in close and pressed against me.
…
…
In the end, I left the room around dinner time.
The five who had left earlier seemed to have already shared their experiences, as other female employees glanced at me with flushed faces and stern expressions.
Seeing them off, I left the merchant guild Amiras.
* * *
About 3 days have passed since then.
Since I decided to refrain from the Gavrett household, I declined maid invitations and haven’t been showing my face at the merchant guild Amiras.
Instead, as a substitute, the Gavrett mother and daughter, along with their dedicated maids, started coming over on quiet nights.
It seemed the rumors about my interactions had spread, though some details were likely exaggerated. Ms. Elina, in particular, appeared more affected, and our casual interactions seemed to draw attention.
Eventually, someone took notice.
”I see, so that’s how it was…”
Mnyuuuu…
Ms. Hilda, the Cleric, adjusted her arms, resting them across her chest as she pondered.
She had initially come to check on Ms. Alicia’s condition but ended up staying for tea with Ms. Elina and Iris.
During that, she realized we were in a romantic relationship from our atmosphere.
She could have played dumb, but if she got grilled by the Viscount, it would be bad.
I took a break from Ms. Elina to consult.
There, since Ms. Hilda has a friendly relationship with Ms. Elina from the start, they decided to explain the circumstances if she had sensed something and asked her to keep quiet.
She knows I was the one who lifted the curse from Ms. Alicia, but because I can’t openly accept rewards to conceal the curse-breaking talisman, I explained that I had a relationship with Ms. Elina and the others instead.
When she heard that, she also pointed out that Ms. Elina atmosphere was similar to that of the maids. So, I explained that it was a strategy to lure out enemies.
After hearing that story, Ms. Hilda seemed to understand and nodded in agreement.
”Not only the Gavrett family, but even the merchant guild Amiras has spread rumors about Mr. Koji. I was concerned that Lady Elina and the others might be targeted, so one of my goals today was to confirm that, but… I see, that was the situation.”
Ah, so she came to confirm because my reputation as a ladies’ man had spread properly.
For now, things are progressing as planned, and I feel relieved about that… but the problem is Ms. Hilda.
She understood, but there’s no guarantee she will stay silent.
That’s when Ms. Elina confirms it.
”So, um… can you keep this a secret?”
”Yes, I will keep it to myself.”
Ms. Hilda answered with a smile to that probing question.
A Cleric is someone who can use healing magic. Though the church doesn’t think highly of it, I’ve heard they are not in a position to criticize infidelity.
Moreover, the matter with Ms. Elina is a transaction for a rare and powerful magical item. She entered that kind of relationship with me for the sake of her family. Since there exists a culture of political marriages, even if it were to be discovered, there’s a good chance she wouldn’t be blamed if it’s for the sake of her family.
She holds a certain position, so she probably understood those matters and accepted it.
While everyone felt relieved by Ms. Hilda, she cheerfully said something.
”Then, I will cooperate with you as well. If even a Cleric is involved, the credibility of the rumors will increase.”
