Chapter 155
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
I ended the night with Ms. Sakura and, after staying up almost all night, decided to take my leave in the morning.
As I got out of bed and started dressing, Ms. Sakura, still completely naked, called out to me.
”Ah, breakfast…”
”My room still has some travel food left, so it’s fine. Besides… you must be tired, right?”
”Ah, well… yeah…”
At my reply, she blushed, recalling what happened during the night, and nodded. But her expression was still complicated.
Judging by how she was before, it didn’t seem like she really didn’t want to do it.
If so, then the strange expression must have started at that moment during the act.
Yet, after that, she was more eager than before, even more intense in her desire.
So why the complicated face now? Could it be that she actually felt unsatisfied?
That was a personal feeling of hers, and there was no use me guessing. I decided to ask her directly.
”Um, were you actually not satisfied?”
She reacted strongly to the question.
Thud! Creak!
”Huh!? N-No, that’s not true at all! I was so happy I thought my head might explode. If you wanted, I’d even let you use me until I passed out… no, I’d want you to use me even if I lost consciousness!”
”Uh, okay…”
She propped herself up, pushing the blanket aside, then got on all fours and approached me.
Of course, she was still naked, her reasonably sized, well-shaped breasts swaying with the movement.
Pressed by her momentum, I asked why she was making such a complicated expression.
”Well, it’s fine if that’s the case, but sometimes you looked like you were feeling conflicted. I wondered if there was something on your mind.”
”Th-That is…”
At least she was aware that some emotion showed on her face. Her expression shifted quickly from surprise to awkwardness.
If she couldn’t answer clearly, that meant there was some secret. And if it was related to a past life, I wasn’t going to force it out of her.
So I prepared to back off if she tried to dodge the question…
Creak… slide…
She rose from all fours, sat properly on her knees, and with a solemn look, addressed me.
”Um, Mr. Koji, you’re someone even the ‘Silver Orchid’ trusts, right?”
A man trusted by the “Silver Orchid” was rare, but while I was away from town, I’d heard from others that my reputation as “Koji” was on good terms with them.
That was probably thanks to Ferris and the others spreading rumors to dispel the bad name from when I took Iris and Seria from “Mose.”
Still, I wouldn’t openly boast about it.
”Hmm… well, I can only say ‘somewhat.’”
”I trust you because you don’t boast unnecessarily. Then, um… may I share my secret? But you must promise not to tell anyone.”
”I promise. But wouldn’t it be better if no one knew a secret?”
My attitude must have earned her trust, because she tried to reveal her secret.
Though I was curious, I thought the best way to keep a secret hidden was not to tell anyone.
So I tried to stop her, but she shook her head.
”No, um… it’s precisely because I want you to hear it.”
”Huh? What do you mean?”
If she wanted me to hear it, the person she’d had a physical relationship with, then…
Was it some kind of infectious disease?
Though I’d been covered with Magic Armor, sometimes it was disabled for oral contact.
I remembered that and worried that my guess might be right.
Then Ms. Sakura, as if deciding to face it, spoke her secret.
”I remembered it during… well, while we were together. I have memories of my past life.”
”Huh.”
Ah, that’s what this is about.
So she really had recovered memories of a past life.
But then, why tell me now, just because we’d been intimate?
She hesitated but finally said it plainly.
”So, um… sorry! I… no, I was a man.”
Thud!
She placed both hands on the bed and bowed deeply, pressing her head into the mattress.
”Huh? Ah… I see?”
So that’s why she decided to tell the one she was intimate with.
I leaned over her, eyes scanning the chest crushed by her bowed posture.
We did it, so I already knew, but Ms. Sakura’s body was undeniably female.
Squish.
”Mm.”
As a formality, I poked her chest with a finger, feeling the soft texture I’d known all night.
So, in this world, she was fully female, but her past life, as she said, was male.
I asked her.
”Why reveal your past life now?”
”Well… it’s awkward to say after, but I felt like I was deceiving you, knowing I was a man before.”
”I see… but weren’t you uncomfortable being with a man?”
”Well, um, I actually preferred men even in my past life.”
So she was gay and had no rejection toward being with me.
She revealed it out of a conscience that made her feel guilty for deceiving me.
”I understand.”
I thought for a moment, then gave her an instruction.
”Ms. Sakura, lift your head.”
”No, but…”
”Just do it.”
”Ok, then…”
Slide.
She obeyed, lifting her head.
At that moment, I grabbed her head.
Grab, smooch, kiss…
”Mm!? Nn… kiss… ♡”
She was surprised by the sudden kiss but soon accepted it, parting her lips with her tongue to welcome me warmly.
Slurp, smooch!
”Haa, haa, haa… ♡”
Not even a minute passed, but when I parted my lips, her tongue lingered outside, reluctant to leave.
Kiss, suck.
I gently sucked on it, then let go and said:
”Whatever your past life was, you’re completely a woman now. Don’t worry about it.”
”Is that really okay…?”
Blushing again, she hesitated but asked.
I reached out to her chest again, this time firmly kneading.
Squish, squish, squish, squish…
”Mm♡”
”This body isn’t going to turn into a man, right? Then you’re a woman, plain and simple. At least to me, you’re only a woman. Unless you want me to see you as a man.”
At those words, Ms. Sakura shook her head violently.
”N-No! I want you to see me only as a woman! So, from now on…”
”Alright then… whenever the chance comes!”
Pinch, pinch.
I pinched both n*pples at the same time, and she let out a joyful scream, no longer troubled by what was to come.
* * *
Afterward… Though it was still morning, and there was time left, our bodies were still stirred, so we went at it three more times before finally calling it done.
”Ehe, ehehe…♡” Ms. Sakura giggled, seemingly more enthusiastic than the night before, perhaps because her worries had vanished. She diligently wiped my body with a cloth, then after drying herself, leaned against me from the side.
Since I had learned she retained memories from her past life, I quietly probed to see if I might hide my own past life from her.
Since we’d formed this kind of relationship, I wanted to minimize the chances of hostility between us.
”Was your name Sakura in your past life as well?” I asked.
”Yes, actually it was. But—uh—in my country, it’s a common flower name usually given to girls,” she said.
She shifted slightly, reaching out to a nearby desk to fetch some writing tools. Those, along with paper, were likely for her duties as a manager.
She began to write smoothly.
”Here, this is how it’s written in my country…”
Ms. Sakura showed me the paper, where two words were written.
”So these are the characters from Ms. Sakura’s country? There are two versions…”
One read “桜” — the character for the cherry blossom flower — and the other “朔良.” Pretending I didn’t understand, I asked about the second one.
”That one is my name, and the other is the flower name,” she explained.
”Both read as ‘Sakura’ then?”
”Yes. If I had been a girl, apparently I would’ve been given the flower name.”
She said she was the third child in her past life. Her family was ordinary, and they had hoped for at least one daughter after her, but it turned out she was male.
Because of legal and ethical restrictions at the time, abortion wasn’t an option, so she was born as a boy. However, since she was small, her parents bought her things typically for girls, and perhaps because of that influence, her tastes leaned more feminine.
That inclination extended to her sexual preferences as well, though even if people around her understood, it didn’t guarantee acceptance. Moreover, even if there was someone accepting, that person might not match her own preferences.
In fact, there were a few men she liked, but they all preferred women.
Her era was close to mine, and searching for partners on the internet was possible, but—
”I heard sometimes partners aren’t serious, and people might spread rumors or demand hush money…”
Even as society grows more understanding, there are still many who don’t want to be seen with disdain from others of the same gender.
I’m the same. It’s not about being liked, but the very possibility of being targeted is unpleasant.
It’s unavoidable—like how anyone tries to avoid unwanted romantic prospects regardless of orientation.
Ms. Sakura explained that people around her would break relationships if they found out she was gay, so to avoid blackmail or other troubles, she never searched for partners online.
”So, until my death in the past life, I kept my orientation hidden.”
”I see…”
Her relationships were smooth, and family ties were not bad, so it was a pity. Still, she seemed to think that although it was sad to lose contact with her family after death, this life was good in its own way.
”Well, um… the family I was born into here was the kind to sell me off, but I… met someone wonderful…”
She rubbed her hands along my chest.
I’ve told her many times before, but I said again:
”Just so you know, I’m not interested in dating you.”
”I know. But here, you can have many women depending on your wealth, right? So I’d be fine with being one of them ♪”
Since she knew about this world’s system, she was okay with such an arrangement.
Honestly, I have no intention to keep anyone right now, but that might depend on the reward for the “Gem Snake” incident.
”Hm?”
Suddenly, a question came to mind.
”Ms. Sakura, you said you were sold here, right…”
”Yes. My family was poor…”
She said her family were ordinary farmers but had too many siblings to support.
Maybe because of limited entertainment, she found pleasure in affairs as one of her few amusements.
Anyway—
”But weren’t you found alone by the ‘Hooters’ caravan somewhere?”
”Oh, yes. Though it was more like I asked to follow them. You knew that?”
”Yes, I think I heard from the real estate agent.”
”Ah, that must be from when I became the manager here. Some people won’t rent to a manager whose background is unknown. So, did something happen with being found by the caravan?”
”No, it’s just that if you were sold, it’s strange you were alone. You must have been very young then, right?”
”Yes. Umm… wait? Huh?”
Ms. Sakura tried to recall, tilting her head in confusion.
”Is something wrong?”
”No, it’s just… I was apparently almost assaulted by some important man at a mansion, but my memory skips from then to shortly before the caravan found me.”
”W-what does that mean?”
”I don’t know. Maybe something happened that made me lose my memory?”
* * *
I know for a fact Ms. Sakura was a virgin until last night, so that’s unlikely. But was there something else so shocking it erased her memory?
If that man from the mansion had bought her, escaping would’ve been impossible.
Did someone who tried to help get hurt?
I mentioned it, but she just tilted her head, clueless.
”Hm, it doesn’t seem like that. It’s more like I wanted to run far away but suddenly found myself somewhere else… ah.”
Suddenly, she seemed to realize something.
I felt it too, since I share memories from the past life, but I couldn’t say it out loud to keep my secret.
So, I waited for her next move.
”…”
A brief pause.
Then she vanished from beside me.
Immediately, I heard a voice and a sound from behind me.
Thud!
”Ah! Ouch!?”
Turning around, I saw Ms. Sakura sprawled on the floor in an M-shaped split.
I knew it—my guess was right.
She confirmed it herself.
”Hahaha… I guess I can teleport.”
…Seriously?
