Chapter 186 Simona’s Visit

(Liz’s POV)

I need to think about how to split the team for the new dungeon. But…
(I promised Kazumi and the others tonight)
I’m going to be with Kazumi, Martina, Dorothy, Aluda, and Rena to be held by Hiroya.
(Who to add to Gièze and the other 3… that’s the question)
Ideally, I want Gorge. He’s good at watching the other members and moving around. He might actually have some leadership skills.
If that’s the case, I’d like to add Asuka too. But, Asuka’s strength is really needed in the deeper floors. Is it too harsh to put them on different teams?
(I should ask them…)
Then there’s the ‘Porter’ issue. After the new dungeon is announced, it’ll probably take about 5 days to a week for news to spread everywhere. Adventurers and ‘Porters’ aiming for the new dungeon will gather in Razia Village, at the earliest in about 10 days to 2 weeks.
I hope we can find a ‘Porter’ worthy of joining our clan, but we need to hire someone anyway.
(For now, the wolf maids will have to work hard)
We need 2 people for the lower and deeper floors, so I’m worried that there will only be one wolf maid left with Ms. Hanna to take care of things for a while.
(I guess we can all discuss this tomorrow night)
I stretch out big on the chair. I’ve already changed. I’m wearing a purple lace outfit with a white base and a light purple night bustier.
(And tonight, I can use that power to be held again♡)
With 6 people, it’s going to be tough for Hiroya.
Then, I can finally use the ‘crotch tattoo sticker.’ With excitement in my heart, I left my room and headed to the ‘big bedroom.’
”Lady Liz, we have a guest.”
On my way to the big bedroom, Noo called out to me from downstairs.
”At this time? You talking to me?”
”They said it’s Ms. Simona from Clan ‘Rose Hip’.”
Seriously… just when I was about to get cozy with Hiroya…
”Noo, can you tell Kazumi that a guest came, so I’ll be late?”
”Got it.”
Asuka and Gorge, Lotta and Noriss had already gone up to the third-floor bedroom, and Gièze and Karina went home. Eluda and Meluda also left, saying they were going to refine some ore since morning, so only the wolf maids and Ms. Hanna were on the first floor.
I didn’t feel like changing, so I just went down the stairs in my pajamas.

”…Whaddya wearin’…?”
Simona, sitting on the sofa in the corner of the dining room, looked at me in disbelief at my nightwear.
”It’s a nice place we’re gonna, and you show up lookin’ like dis?”
”True. Sorry about that.”
Simona wasn’t in her plate mail but in a casual outfit: a white blouse, leather vest, leather corset, and leather pants. Her long red hair, usually tied back, was down, making her look more feminine.
”But oh wow… you can dress up nicely too.”
”Shut it.”
She already has a pretty face, so she should dress more girly all the time.
”So, dis nice place… you got a good guy dere?”
”Well, yeah.”
Not that surprising.
”Is it a clan memba?”
”Is there a problem with that?”
”I jus’ can’t undastand it.”
She’s the Clan Leader surrounded by women. Maybe she has a thing against guys.
”So, who is it? Ya clan got three guys, right? ──Is it that handsome guy?”
”Gorge? He’s Asuka’s boyfriend. They say he’ll be her husband soon.”
Hmm. But I thought da otha ones was just kids…”
”Hiroya isn’t a kid!”
”!”
Simona freezes, holding the teacup just before her mouth.
”Hiroya──the one they call ‘Swift’?”
”Yeah. He’s a good-looking guy.”
”You… I mean, come on──he’s like what, nine? Why are we all so into this kid?”
That’s a clueless reaction.
”Yeah, we’re all totally smitten with that boy. Me and the others too.”
”No way… are you sayin’ this ‘Famière’ is Hiroya’s thing now? That’s wild!”
”Huh? No way.”
I take out whiskey and glasses from the cabinet in the lounge area and place them on the table.
”First, let’s drink and you can listen to my story.”
I carefully explain to Simona how great Hiroya is, despite her puzzled expression.

”…I see. Well, I get why them girls would fall for Hiroya. If somethin’ ’bout that kid helped you out, ya might fall for ‘im too. But Liz──.”
Simona finishes another glass.
”──You’re just tryna hook up with him by lust.”
”That’s not true!”

”Well, ehh, whatever. That’s not why I came here.”
”I know. ──A new dungeon, right?”
I don’t like being misunderstood by Simona, but I want to get to Hiroya quickly, so I need to keep the conversation going.
”I made it to the third floor.”
”…And how was it? Was it bigger?”
”The first floor was pretty spacious. The second floor was about twice that size.”
Simona hands me her empty glass, so I pour her some whiskey.
”In terms of size, the Welnia Labyrinth seems bigger. But…”
”But…?”
Simona gives me a strong look as she brings the glass to her lips.
”Probably, it has more floors. If you think it stretches all the way down to the Raetia Mountains… you know?”
”Dat sounds gud. Jst as I expected.”
Simona grins. It’s a nice face. A smile full of curiosity about the unknown.
”Of course, you’ll need a Thief, and a Porter too. But your clan has enough people, so that shouldn’t be a problem.”
”Ah. Da day I heared about da new dungeon from Sage Lady Milia, I sent a message to call da clan members still in Mundo. In bout a week, all da members in my group will arrive here. Of course, we got Porter wit’ us, so it’s all good.”
”How many people?”
”Our clan got a total of 25 members, including 3 Porters. Once everyone joins, we plan to split into 3 groups ta attack.”
Simona talks happily. …It really feels like a dream.
”And… I came ta apologize ta you tonight.”
”?”
”S-Class dungeon. We’re gonna conquer it! I said dat, but… I’m reallly sorry…”
Simona kneels down and bows her head.
”Don’t worry about it. It’s our mission anyway. We’ll gain experience in the new dungeon, get stronger, and definitely take down Azradelius.”
”Azradelius? Waseen he da ancient demon who wuz a close aide to da Demon King…?”
”Yeah. So for a while, I plan to focus on the new dungeon with you guys.”
”Alright! Let’s do our best together, ya feel?”
Maybe she’s quite drunk, as Simona has a red face and extends her right hand.
”Let’s do our best. We won’t lose to you guys.”
I shake her hand back.
”…Sorry for staying so late. I should probably head home now, though.”
”Are you okay? Do you want me to walk you back?”
”I’m feeling cool, but I got dis one block home under control.”
Simona stands up and grabs her coat.
”So, are ya going to do it now?”
”Do what?”
”Are ya gonna… ya know?”
Hearing the unfamiliar slang makes my face heat up.
”Ah… yeah! I’ll do it.”
”I see. Just don’t go all out on him, ya feel?
With a big smile, Simona waves and disappears into the entrance lobby.

(Simona’s POV)
(Liz is reely a great woman.)
She has a refreshing personality. The courage to be the Clan Leader. And that charm.
I felt a rush seeing Liz in that outfit, and it was a bit dangerous.
I thought if I got any more drunk, I might end up making a move on Liz, so I managed to wrap up the conversation and left the mansion.
Fine snow is falling, but it feels just right for my warm body from the alcohol and a little desire.
(Starting tomorrow, it’s a week of trainin’ and preppin’. But…)
How do I cool down this warmth in my body tonight?
(I haven’t seen Helena or Frieda in a while…)
Just as I thought of the curvy bodies of the two sub-leaders, something covered my mouth from behind.
”Fuggh! Ngh!”
I tried to shake it off, but a few people held me down strongly, and I couldn’t move.
A sweet scent filled my nose… and my consciousness started to fade away…
