Chapter 209 The Clan’s Guest

(Kazumi’s POV)
”Whaddya mean, dis here food? It’s da bomb!”
Simona was praising the Clan House’s pride, ‘Ms. Hanna’s home cooking,’ as she eagerly shoveled it into her mouth. Forgetting about manners, she was just enjoying it in a big, carefree way.

After that, I consulted Rena about Simona, who had been keeping an eye on Hiroya.
”It seems like Hiroya definitely ’embraced Simona to break her charm,’ but… I don’t think he would use any fake ‘words’ during the act to confuse the girl. So, I think it’s probably genuine. We wouldn’t know for sure unless we ask Simona or Hiroya… but I suspect there was some kind of ‘confession’ from Simona. Hiroya isn’t the type to turn that down.”
Rena said this while casting a gentle glance at Hiroya, who was still sleeping.
”Well, he wouldn’t let go of a girl he’s already embraced. He’s pretty possessive about that stuff…”
”…I guess Kazumi has some responsibility in this too.”
Rena chuckled as I sighed.
”For now, I think it’s best to treat her as a ‘guest of Famière,’ right? That way, there shouldn’t be any waves with ‘Rose Hip’ either. If Liz went to explain, she’ll probably sort it out in that direction. Then we can build a friendly and cooperative relationship moving forward.”
When Liz came back with Martina and Dorothy, she confirmed that they had indeed talked with Helena, the new captain of ‘Rose Hip,’ just as Rena had said.
They were even asked to take care of “Simona” in return, along with the sub-leader Frieda.
”Having our captain──no, our former captain and advisor Simona nearby makes us feel at ease.”
”And… leaving the current Simona alone is… really worrying. I think it would be better for Simona to be with the ‘Famière’ guests and Ms. Liz, and it would also give us peace of mind.”
It seems the two of them bowed their heads in agreement.

”I know it’s delicious, but can’t you hold back a little?”
Liz watched Simona devour her food with an exasperated look.
”Well, I guess that’s just how you are.”
Having already finished her meal, Liz took a sip of the tea that Suu had served.
”I understand the situation well, but as guests… can you accompany us on the new dungeon exploration?”
Gièze leaned forward a bit from the table to ask.
”I ain’t gonna replace that snoozin’ Hiroya, but I’ll lend a hand where I can.”
Simona replied with a smile.

Before dinner, I explained about Simona to the members who returned after finishing the guild’s request.
”It’s mah responsibility dat Hiroya ended up like dis. I’m real sorry.”
After bowing her head, Simona conveyed that she had entrusted ‘Rose Hip’ to the next generation and left, causing a lot of trouble for Liz and this ‘Famière.’ Even though she was in the position of a guest, she wanted to repay that debt to everyone.

”Tomorrow or the day after… the public announcement about the new dungeon opening should be made soon… I hope he wakes up by then…”
Dorothy’s words, murmured softly, made everyone look down. Right now, Hiroya was being accompanied by the Aluda dwarf triplets.
Aluda and Eluda had spent the day working hard as blacksmiths and rushed to the clan house after closing the shop in the evening.
Meluda also headed straight to Hiroya’s bedroom as soon as she returned from the guild’s mission.
”Hey everyone, there’s really no need to worry so much, okay? Like Gorge said, Hiroya is just tired and sleeping. His body is fine, he’s really just sleeping.”
Even though I tried to reassure them, the gloomy atmosphere remained.
(I need to explain things about Hiroya and me to everyone properly soon…)
I think the reason Hiroya ended up like this is something I haven’t explained well, which is probably making everyone even more worried. While I doubt Gorge is too concerned about us, Gièze, Sister-in-law Karina, Noriss, Lotta, Eluda, Meluda, the Wolf Maids, and Ms. Hanna are probably really anxious since they don’t know the situation.
”I want to take tomorrow off as a vacation. ──Lady Simona, I would really like to have some training from you…”
”…You’re still as much of a musclehead as ever.”
Seeing Gièze bowing to Simona, Liz smiles.
”W-w-well, I also… um, I’d like to ask Ms. Kazumi and Rena for… some guidance… if that’s okay…”
Sister-in-law Karina’s request makes Lotta hurriedly raise her hand, saying, “Me too!”
”Okay! I’m going to be strict, alright?”
”I-I mainly want to focus on ‘healing magic’… if that’s okay…”
Rena’s declaration of being strict makes Karina and Lotta look adorable as they get nervous.
”In that case, I might join the side being taught… We have 4 magicians here── no, if you include Dorothy, that’s 5. …And yet, Rena is the only one who can use ‘healing magic’.”
”Asuka and I are going to submit our marriage registration. After that, we’ll check on the progress of the house next door.”
”Oh, I see! Congrats to AsuAsu and Gorge!”
”When Mr. Hiroya wakes up, let’s all celebrate together!”
At Martina and Dorothy’s words, everyone starts clapping in celebration. Gorge and Asuka look shy and glance down.
I sank for a bit, but in the end, we were able to wrap up dinner in such a relaxed atmosphere.

Today, I let the rookie group who completed the guild request take a bath first, then it was Gorge, Noriss, and after that, I suggested Aluda, Eluda, and Meluda take a bath. In the meantime, I wiped down Hiroya, who was sleeping. After that, I left Hiroya in Suu’s care and headed to the bath with Liz and the others.
”To think I can soak in da same ‘hot spring’ as back home, how luxurious is dis clan…”
Simona, who was taking a bath for the first time at our place, muttered in disbelief.
”And it’s… huge.”
”We made it so everyone can fit in.”
And there was Liz, looking smug.
”E-vuh-ryone, as in, does dat include da guys?”
”Only Hiroya! He’s the only one allowed to see us n*ked.”
”Knowing Liz, you’re probably doing all sorts of things in the bath, right?”
”I haven’t done that in the bath yet!”
”Liz… ‘yet,’ huh…”
”Now that you mention it, I really haven’t done anything in the bath…”
Dorothy chimed in with a light tone during Simona and Liz’s exchange.
”When Big Brother Hiroya wakes up, I want to try doing it in the bath together.”
Martina stood up from the hot spring, looking excited.
Simona, washing her body, gazed dreamily at Martina’s curvy figure. …It was true that Simona was a ‘dual swordsman (bisexual)’, right?
Even though her body is hidden by bubbles, several painful scars can be seen on Simona’s body.
”Simona, it looks like you went through something pretty rough.”
”Huh? …Oh, dis. Well, I’m an Amazoness, so… Back den, I even got off on it. Kinda pathetic…”
She laughed self-deprecatingly as she rinsed her body with water.
”It hurted like heck, but ya know, what else you gonna do when it comes to those famous Raetia springs. Feels way better now though.”
Saying that, she submerged her brown-skinned body in the hot spring.
”Just like an Amazoness, you have a well-trained body.”
”…And your chest and butt are both big… so nice…”
Rena was genuinely praising Simona’s toned body, but I couldn’t help but envy the development of her feminine parts.
”Even with the same toned body, it’s way more bouncy than Big Sister Liz’s, right?”
”Oh, but I mean, Hiroya says he likes this body of mine!”
Liz was holding Martina’s head down, submerging her in the hot spring.
Dis here scar… Hiroya, he gave me a gentle rub on it, ya see? It was da fis’ time I got busy (you know what I mean) since joinin’ da Amazons, but da whole connection between bein’ nice and gettin’ off…Hiroya, he showed me dat.
Maybe it was the hot spring, but Simona’s cheeks were flushed.
”Wasn’t it great? Hiroya’s s*x.”
””Yeah… cuz of him, I got to finally taste the ‘lovin’ like a dame’ thing I been dreamin’ about as an Amazoness. Gotta thank the guy…”
Simona answered my question while looking down.
”When Hiroya wakes up… you should let him hold you again.”
I spoke the words that came from the bottom of my heart. Maybe Hiroya wanted to save this woman. Simona, who was on the verge of losing herself to pleasure that wasn’t her own will.
(Well, that’s part of what I love about him, though.)
I felt warmth not just in my body but in my heart as well.
