(Simona’s POV)
(Dis guy’s da rotten jerk named Otto.)
As I swung my weapon wide, the Demonkin (Majin) jumped back to dodge. In that moment, I stepped in front of Dorothy to protect her.
”Dorothy, can ya stand? We gotta get ta da mansion quick.”
I glanced at Dorothy, and after she nodded at me, she wobbled and started heading toward the mansion.
”Hey! You’re fightin’ me!”
I pointed my greatsword at Otto, who had turned his body toward Dorothy. It was a big, wide sword. Not many can handle a greatsword with one hand, except maybe Ms. Megumi with her greatsword.
”Another new girl, huh? Well, that’s good news for me.”
Otto casually readied his long sword.
”Huh? I don’t get what you’re sayin’.”
”I’m gonna make you mine too… here we go!”
Otto swung his long sword at me from the left.
I adjusted my grip on the greatsword with both hands to block the attack.
(Wow, it’s heavy…!)
”Oh…”
”For someone who quit being human, you’re not that impressive.”
A bit of surprise crossed Otto’s face when I stopped his powerful swing using its centrifugal force.
”I like you. I’ll make you my woman.”
”Whatcha talkin’ about? I heard ya only sleep with broads who are yer slaves. What a schmuck…”
Keeping the sword’s tip on the ground, I stepped toward him. Then, I swung the greatsword down, throwing it forward from behind me.
(With da centrifugal force and da weight of dis sword, he won’t be able to handle it!)
──Whoosh!
With a slicing sound, my powerful swing came crashing down on Otto.
”Gotcha! If you can take it, then bring it on!”
Should I dodge? My thoughts were off. Otto deflected my strike with a light swing of his longsword. I was planning to kick him in the face when he dodged.
But he charged right at me, fully exposed.
”Ugh!”
”Don’t know if you’re strong or not, but you’re just a girl. You can’t beat a guy with strength.”
Otto mounted me as I fell on my back.
”It’s over. Hand over your body to me.”
”Don’t mess wit’ me. It ain’t over yet.”
”It’s my first time with an Amazoness. You’re gonna make it fun for me, right?”
That jerk pinned my wrists down with one hand and grabbed my chest armor.
”I toled ya… it ain’t ova yet…”
(This is where I really shine…)
Alright──time for a counterattack.

(Koichi’s POV)
It happened in an instant.
Mr. Gorge slashed the youma, and Aelia and I took down the last youma before shifting our gaze to Ms. Asuka.
”Here I go──’Physical Boost’!”
Ms. Asuka pulled her sword close to her waist, pointing the tip at the demon as she kicked off the ground.
The demon dodged her sharp thrust to the side.
But Ms. Asuka immediately swung her thrusting sword sideways at the demon.
”──!”
The demon caught the blade with its clawed hands. However, in the next moment…
Ms. Asuka swiftly pulled the sword back and sliced the demon in half from below.
”Grraaah!”
The demon was split from its waist to its shoulder.
(What a sword technique…)
Not just the speed, but the wild trajectory of the blade was… pure brute force.
The demon lay on the ground, dissipating into mist from its feet.
”When you get cut in half that quickly… regeneration won’t work… impressive──.”
With those final words… the demon vanished.
”This size… it’s a bit bigger than a Lesser Demon.”
Ms. Asuka picked up the remaining mass of magical energy.
”…That’s amazing. There’s no way we could pull off moves like that.”
I muttered this quietly, and Aelia hugged my arm, nodding repeatedly.
”And… Hiroya is surrounded by such fierce fighters.”
I couldn’t help but smile wryly.
”Koichi has me. ── I’ll protect your back.”
Aelia looked up at me as she said this.
”…You should really stop saying ‘I’ like that. You’re a girl, after all.”
”I’ve been copying you since I was little. ──I can’t change it now.”
Aelia smiled as she said this.
”Just like your big brother, it was a great fight. Plus, you even have a cute girl by your side. You really are something, bro.”
”Eh, Aelia and I… it’s not like that…”
I started to say this to Mr. Gorge, but then I noticed Aelia’s sad expression next to me.
”Well, it’s not like it’s impossible…”
”It was a good teamwork. Our hearts are connected too.”
Ms. Asuka patted Aelia’s head. Aelia smiled back, looking quite pleased.
”Alright, we’ve wrapped this up. Let’s head to the other side for support!”
We nodded and dashed out to the front of the mansion.

(Asuka’s POV)
After defeating the demon and making our way to the front of the mansion with Gorge and the others, we found Gièze and Dorothy receiving Rena’s ‘healing’ at the entrance.
”Are you okay?”
I gently patted Gièze’s head.
”Ms. Asuka… I’m sorry, I got taken down by Otto. Ms. Dorothy tried to stop him, but… I think I got a bit carried away…”
Gièze looked frustrated.
”What about Dorothy?”
”She just escaped from Otto. She hit her head pretty hard and lost consciousness for a bit, but… she’ll be fine.”
Rena smiled down at me, looking worried as she used ‘healing’ on Dorothy.
”I see.”
And outside… it seemed like the fight between Simona and Otto had begun.
”Why aren’t you going to help?”
”I can’t get close. Simona needs space to unleash her power…”
Liz spat out her answer, looking frustrated.
”‘I heard it from ‘Rose Hip.’ Simona’s fighting style tends to drag everyone in…”
”And Otto has a Magic Eye. We can’t provide support with magic either.”
Kazumi says this with a look of regret.
”At least until the lord or papa gets here… hang in there, Simona──.”
She whispers as if praying.
The battle takes a turn when Simona finally gets hit by Otto’s charge and falls, with Otto mounting her.
”Sim-Sim!”
Martina rushes to the entrance from inside the mansion, but Karina, Lotta, and Noriss hold her back.
”No way, Marti, Aluda can only watch…”
”But…”
”Aluda’s right. Simona won’t go down easily.”
Liz says this and smiles at everyone.
That’s when it happened.
”Guahhh!”
With a roar, Simona, who was pinned down, flung Otto off her.
”──It’s started. Simona can unleash the power of the ‘Berserker’…”
Liz crosses her arms and watches the scene.
”I’ve heard of that. It removes the brain’s limiter, allowing for abnormal strength, but at the cost of going wild against friend and foe alike.”
”Asuka’s right. That’s why we can’t get close.”
Liz nods in agreement with my murmur.
Simona wields that massive greatsword like it’s a longsword, swiftly overwhelming Otto with her swordplay.
”Die! Die! Die!”
Simona’s screams echo. But…
”No way…”
I blurt out without thinking.
”It looks like Ms. Simona is pushing him, though.”
Gorge asks.
”No──Otto’s just brushing it off easily.”
To brush off those heavy hits so lightly, the power of the Demonkin (Majin) is something else…
”She’s landed a few hits, but even the ones that would be fatal normally, he’s regenerating from them…”
Liz mutters, sounding frustrated.
”Uh, um, is ‘Enchant’… not working…?”
”That guy has a ‘Magic Eye’… so magic gets canceled out.”
Rena explains to Karina.
”I’m going to check on Hiroya! He might be awake!”
Kazumi runs into the mansion.
”To defeat him, we need ‘Yamikirimaru’… and only Hiroya’s power can do it…”
I instinctively close my eyes.
(If it comes to this, I’ll use ‘Yamikirimaru’ and be ready to take Otto down with me…)
”Ah! This is bad!”
I quickly open my eyes at Liz’s shout.
Otto takes advantage of Simona’s flurry of attacks and lands a hit, slicing from her groin to her chest.
With a loud clang, her chest plate and waist armor fall to the ground. Then, her underwear gets cut, leaving Simona’s front exposed as she stands frozen.
”Nice body. Good thing I didn’t hurt you. Let’s show those guys over there, Amazoness…”
”That’s enough, Otto!”
I draw my sword and dash forward. Liz follows, readying her composite bow.
That’s when I heard it. The sound of horse hooves getting closer…
