When I woke up… I saw the ceiling of the Rosen Clinic room again.
”Oh, you’re awake?”
Mr. Rudolf is sitting by the bedside.
”I’m sorry. It seems I’ve troubled you again──”
I sit up in bed.
Yeah, there’s no pain.
”Well, since I used Healing Magic, your stamina might be low… But you’ll get back to normal after a soak in the hot spring. I had you admitted for treatment because I wanted to talk to you for a bit.”
Mr. Rudolf stands up and moves to the window.
”I heard from Rena that the gods of darkness and light are coming back.”
He lights a cigarette he pulled from his pocket and takes a puff.
”Mr. Rudolf, do you know about the ‘ancient civilization’ in this world?”
”Yes. And there’s something I need to warn you about.”
Mr. Rudolf, who had smoked 3 cigarettes, crushed them in the ashtray on the windowsill.
”Advice…?”
”From now on, whether you like it or not, you will be involved in a relationship with the Supreme God. This will also apply to you, Kazumie, and everyone in the clan ‘Famière’, who are deeply connected to our Rena…”
’The Supreme God’. That being said, he must be a god superior to Mr. Rudolf, Ms. Giselle, and Rena.

”Those 2 deities are twin sister gods. ──Rena is their cousin. They seemed to rule harmoniously, but in the realm of ‘governing gods’, there are still murmurs of ‘the supreme god’s excessive interference’.”
Mr. Rudolf, who came from the window to the side of the bed, took a seat.
”The Demon King’s ally, Azradelius, is an apostle of the supreme god. He bears the mission to bring chaos to the sent world. And I must apologize, but──”
Mr. Rudolf held my hand, gently cradling it with both of his.
”Megumi is the apostle we ‘governing gods’ sent to counter Azradelius.”

According to Mr. Rudolf,
it’s an act of ‘testing the strength of each world by the supreme god’.
It seems.

The two gods were sealed away, and civilization was destroyed.
”Among us ruling gods, there is a whispered speculation that the two gods of this world may have had powers that the Supreme God feared. Perhaps by rescuing Megumi – your mother and brother – the two gods will be set free. Then, you may be able to understand why they were sealed away.”
”If that proves that the Supreme God is at fault, then what will Mr. Rudolf and the other ‘ruling gods’ do?”
When I asked Mr. Rudolf, he looked back at me with a fierce gaze I had never seen before.
”When that happens, of course I will overthrow the Supreme God. No matter what kind of God he is, injustice cannot be tolerated. ──War may break out in the heavens.”
A response came from the doorway of the hospital room, and when I looked, Rena was standing tall.
”From what I’ve heard, it’s a huge deal… but we just need to focus on what we can do right now.”
Kazumi entered the room behind Rena and placed a tray with tea on the side table.
”Plus, Rena, Mr. Rudolf, Ms. Giselle, and even Lilith are all connected now. It’s not something that doesn’t involve us anymore.”
As Kazumi said this, I received the tea she brewed.
Speaking of Lilith, she hasn’t spoken since I woke up.
”Apparently, she’s charging her magical power. We talked a bit while Hiroya was sleeping. She seems to have been accumulating quite a bit of it, so don’t worry,”
Rena sat in a chair, swinging her legs while drinking the tea Kazumi made.

”I really want to eat Ms. Hanna’s cooking…”
”Alright! Everyone’s probably worried, so let’s head back to the Clan house!”
”Sounds good. Let’s heal our stamina with a bath!”
Kazumi and Rena grabbed my arms and pulled me out of the bed.
”Wait! I need to get changed!”
I hurriedly started changing into my clothes.
”Well, I’ll be waiting outside, so hurry up, okay?”
Kazumi said, and left the room holding Rena’s hand.

After quickly changing, I thanked Mr. Rudolf and was about to leave the room when Mr. Rudolf called out to me from behind.
”Hiroya. I’m counting on you about Rena”
I’m still a little scared to think about what he meant by that request.
”Yes. I will protect Rena with all my strength.”
I turn around and bow to Mr. Rudolf again.
He smiled with satisfaction, so it seems that my answer was correct for now.
No, I mean it from my heart.

I straddled Haya, with Kazumi holding the reins, clinging to her waist.
”Shall we head home?”
Rena, riding Shiro, pulled up alongside us.
Kazumi and Rena spurred their trusty steeds toward the clan house.

”So, Hiroya… is your body okay?”
”Yeah. I’m just a bit tired. I think a bath when we get home will help.”
”What about Dorothy, Liz, and Simona… will they be alright?”
”Ah…”
Kazumi seemed to be hinting at ‘teasing play’ gossip.
”It’s only 3 of them for now because we’re adjusting for the Great Labyrinth exploration… is that alright?”
”Yeah. I used ‘Hiroya’s power’, so if my stamina heals… I think it’ll get exciting.”
”Alright! Then it’s settled!”
Kazumi said that and seemed to be talking to someone through ‘Telepathy’.
”Who?”
”Yes. To Dorothy. She looked like she was in a lot of pain because her desires were getting stronger. I had to tell her that Hiroya was really up for it. Knowing Dorothy, I thought she might be a little hesitant to approach Hiroya after you waere seriously injured.”
”What did you say?”
When I asked her, she called out to me with her hand, and whispered in my ear as she drew her face closer.
”‘I’m looking forward to it. Please make it a mess tonight♡’”
Oh no… I’m still tired and my strength hasn’t returned, but it’s gotten bigger.
