I drew Yamikirimaru and deflected the approaching axes with the blade’s hilt.

I could just engage and cut her down right here.
But taking out someone with such a clear skill gap feels like a bad dream.

I sheathed my katana and distanced myself from the hand axe I had knocked away.

The woman hurried over to pick up the hand axe.

The woman dropped her hand axe and clutched her head and chest.

She trembled in fear as I approached, her flushed face showing an expression of ‘expectation.’
”Get away from this nonsense. I won’t take your life… Well, your fate will be in the hands of my dad… Baron O’Brian.”
I reached out and grabbed her chin, causing her to let out a small “hin♡” sound.
”I didn’t lose to you… it was your strange technique…”
”Got it, got it. And I didn’t use any technique.”
I lightly slapped her cheek and replied.
”It’s not a technique… it’s a man’s charm.”
At that moment, the surrounding barrier dissolved.
