With the momentum of my swift leap, I drew Yamikirimaru from my waist and slashed it across the throat of the one-eyed demon.
──Perfect feedback.
I planted my foot on the demon’s shoulder and leapt again, landing behind it.
Right beside me, the severed head dropped, and the demon’s massive body,
──Thud!
Collapsed forward with a resounding impact.
’As always, a fearsome technique.’
(Lilith’s still got that same ferocity.)
I sheathed Yamikirimaru and glanced over at Simona, Dorothy.
Dorothy, unable to match Simona’s Rank S speed, was still desperately trying to keep up.
Simona must have already struck; the one-eyed demon’s left leg was severed, and her brandished Greatsword was aimed right at the demon’s neck, about to come down.
Just as the demon’s fist was launched towards Simona, Dorothy hacked at its arm with a series of iron claw strikes.
(They should be fine over there.)
I shifted my gaze to Asuka.

(Asuka’s POV)
(Dorothy should cover Simona well… and as for Hiroya in adult form, he’ll probably finish it in an instant.)
I faced the one-eyed demon before me.
Its weapon was a large hammer.
It wielded it with one hand.
(Can’t let that hit… but evading and slowing down the attack tempo is a pain too.)
I took a stance with Kansenmaru, focusing my magical power.
”Pierce Fang!”
I lunged forward, releasing my magical power towards the descending hammer.
The mass of magical power I unleashed struck the hammer dead on.
The impact forced the hammer upwards, disrupting the demon’s balance and successfully exposing its body.
I immediately retrieved Kansenmaru and thrust it towards the demon once more.
I drove the consecutive thrusts into the demon’s open chest.
My full-powered, successive thrusts pierced multiple holes into the demon’s torso.
Eventually, the one-eyed demon, unable to withstand the force, fell backward.
The massive hole in its chest, pierced by my thrust, already signified that the demon had perished.
(Hiroya…!)
Turning to him, I saw Hiroya standing with his arms crossed, staring at me imposingly.
His smug smile somehow annoyed me.
”So, it was an instant kill after all.”
”Yeah, I just barely managed to beat Asuka. Anyway──”
Hiroya was looking at the hole in the chest of the demon I had defeated.
”As usual… that was a brutal thrust.”
Seeing Hiroya’s impressed expression, I felt a sense of victory, so I’ll take it.

Just after I defeated the demon, I heard Simona’s silence, so it seemed she had finished her battle too.
”Take thattt!”
Looking over, I saw Simona’s greatsword severing the fallen demon’s head.
”That’s some power, Simona.”
”Oh, Hiroya! Thanks to Dorothy being here, I could go all out too!”
”Please… don’t take such risks.”
Dorothy was muttering, breathing heavily on her shoulder.
Could she really keep up with Simona’s speed?
”I managed with Physical Boost… but still.”
A smile appeared on Dorothy’s tired face.
”I didn’t even get a turn…”
Martina, who had been hiding her presence, appeared, picking up the demon’s fading Magic Stone.
”What are you talking about, Martina? We didn’t have anything to do either.”
The rearguard members, Liz and the others, entered the room.
”You guys, check your equipment. And…”
Liz, glancing briefly at the slightly exhausted Dorothy, continued.
”Let’s take a short break.”
”I’ll make some tea〜”
I was just feeling thirsty myself, so I sat down on a nearby rock.
