Chapter 564 Reuniting with Everyone
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
In the end, after channeling my practiced magical power into the God-Slayer──there was no response, but it seemed that Lilith could faintly sense Frejya’s presence.
”Oh, and splash some semen on the katana blade too♡”
Lilith said, but it was Kazumi who used ‘Telepathy’ to ask Rena for clarification.
”Lilith! Are you crazy? What do you think you’re doing with such a drastic measure? You yourself took magical power slowly from Hiroya to awaken, right?”
Kazumi, having received a response, mimicked Rena as she pressed Lilith.
”That’s right, but…”
Kazumi’s spot-on impersonation was enough to make even Lilith backpedal.
Rena mentioned that ‘suddenly awakening would only lead to confusion.’
In fact, it seemed that Lilith herself was gradually regaining her senses while siphoning my magical power and getting a grip on the current situation.
”Well, considering we’re planning to free Frejya from the Great Labyrinth of Raetia, wouldn’t it be better to let the part of Frejya within the God-Slayer slowly become aware of the situation? That way, there might be less confusion for the main body.”
”That’s what Rena is trying to say. ────Got it? It’s not a good idea to recklessly awaken someone, Lilith.”
For a moment, Kazumi adopted my original form and lectured Lilith with a pointed finger.
”Mhm. Understood. ────However, I am quite curious about what kind of reaction that pure Frejya would show if splashed with semen…”
”So that’s what it was…”
Lilith pondered with a difficult expression, but the words that slipped out left me stunned.

”Hm… mmn…”
It seemed that Darius, slumped against the rocky wall, was finally waking from his unconsciousness.
”Huh…? Hiroya… Where did Hiroya go!? That guy, he didn’t──no, could it be he gave his essence to the God-Slayer, Lady Frejya…?!”
He quickly sprang to his feet, scanning the surroundings in a panic.
”Ah, Darius, it’s me──me! There’s been some circumstances, but I can take on this adult form… but this is really my true self.”
When I called out to Darius, he turned back to me with a dubious expression.
He shifted his gaze and froze at the sight of the God-Slayer at his waist.
”…The voice is definitely Hiroya’s, and that God-Slayer on your hip… Hmm, there’s no doubt──you’re Hiroya. …Wait, did you just ejaculate all over Lady Frejya?!”
”Don’t worry, Darius. It didn’t come to that. I only needed to channel the magical power I prepared, and I confirmed that a part of Frejya is within the God-Slayer.”
Darius let out a sigh of relief at Lilith’s gentle words.
”Considering Frejya’s situation, a sudden awakening isn’t ideal. It’s better for her to wake slowly… to truly grasp her current state.”
He seemed satisfied with Kazumi’s explanation, nodding pensively.
”I can’t do it right this moment, but I promise to awaken a part of Frejya that relies on the God-Slayer… I swear to traverse this Great Labyrinth and liberate her.”
As I said this, he gently clasped my outstretched hand.
”I trust you on that. Just… make sure to think through the means.”
Yeah.
I won’t spill anything on the katana.

While we were having that conversation, a message from Rena came to Kazumi,
”It’s all fine now, come up.”
So, I said my goodbyes to Darius and left the cave.
* * *
Just like when I arrived, I cloaked myself in magical power, drew my katana, and bit down on Yamikirimaru as Lilith supplied air.
I wrapped my arms around Kazumi’s waist and dove into the surface of the water.
(It’s eerily quiet…)
I emerged from the side passage, rising towards the surface of the subterranean lake, and saw the silhouettes of several sea serpents.
(They’re… not moving?)
I carefully maneuvered past the sea serpents, which were motionless near the surface, and finally broke through the water’s surface.
”Hah… Hiroya, are you alright? Not tired?”
First, I helped Kazumi up onto the passageway, grabbing the hand she reached out.
”Yeah. Thanks to Lilith, I could breathe, too.”
”You should be more grateful, Master.”
Lilith, who had materialized in the passageway at some point, helped pull us up as well.
”Over here! Everyone’s waiting!”
Kazumi pulled me and Lilith by the hands, leading us towards the exit of the passageway.
Soon, from the passageway’s exit… everyone appeared.
* * *
”I’m so glad… you two are safe…”
”Seriously… we were so worried.”
Liz, with tears in her eyes, looked genuinely relieved, while Simona slumped to the ground.
”Even though it was a surprise attack, you protected Kazumi in that instant.”
”Hiro!”
”Big Brother Hiroya!”
”Mr. Hiroya!”
PON!
Asuka smiled and patted Simona’s shoulder, then pushed her aside.
Aluda, Meluda, Martina, and Dorothy clung to me and Kazumi.
”Sorry for worrying you…”
”See? Both Kazumi and I are fine…”
”Noo knew it!”
Noo stood beside Liz, puffed out her chest with a big smile──so cute.
Looking at Noo, I was suddenly tugged by my sleeve.
I turned to see Rena, her eyes filled with tears, speaking to me and Kazumi.
”Are you injured? Are you alright?”
”Yeah. Sorry we took so long to come back…”
”I couldn’t contact you because I was unconscious, I’m sorry.”
”It can’t be helped. There were a lot of sea serpents.”
”What about those sea serpents? They stopped moving and were just floating in the water.”
Rena smiled at my question.
”Rena unleashed a powerful ‘Lightning’ attack on the subterranean lake. They probably fainted, if not died.”
”…Rank S magician, you’re impressive as always.”
* * *
”So this is the God-Slayer… It’s about the same size as Asuka’s tachi, isn’t it?”
Aluda gripped the God-Slayer by its white sheath, staring intently before unsheathing it and gazing at the katana blade.
The shimmering silver gleamed with a beauty that almost pulled me in.
”The material is Hihi’irokane. But I heard it was forged simultaneously with Yamikirimaru…”
”Exactly. I can sense what Aluda is thinking. Unlike the rugged, practical Yamikirimaru, this one has an artistic elegance, right?”
Aluda and Meluda nodded at each other over the blade of the God-Slayer.
”Indeed. The atmosphere is completely different. It’s as if a different master swordsmith forged it.”
I nodded in agreement at Asuka’s straightforward observation.
”Darius said the offering was made by the 11th Kuniyasu.”
”Darius… Oh right, the Guardian was there. Was he strong?”
Asuka asked with keen curiosity.
At the same time, everyone’s gaze turned toward me and Kazumi.
”He said he’s one of Frejya’s aides among the Four Holy Guardians. We could only win thanks to my adult power.”
I shared my encounter with Darius with everyone.
* * *
”I see. So Darius entrust Frejya’s liberation to you?”
”We’ll need to gear up and head to the deepest depths ourselves.”
Liz and Simona sipped the tea that Noo and Kazumi had brewed.
”As we gradually awaken a part of Frejya within the God-Slayer…”
Lilith sat on a boulder, also enjoying her tea.
”When the FreFre inside the God-Slayer awakens… will we finally understand the reason for her being trapped in the Great Labyrinth?”
If we could uncover that, as Martina hoped, it might help us understand what Azradelius was planning.
Lost in such thoughts, I sipped the tea from my kuksa.
