(Garm’s POV)
”So… what are we going to do with these guys?”
I look down at the 3 tied-up men while asking Ares, my older brother.
”Well, it’s frustrating to be interrupted in our search because of these idiots… But it looks like we have no choice but to head back and turn them in.”
Ares, while untying Olga, mutters this out.
”Or we could just leave them as they are in the presence of the floor boss on the Second Floor.”
They must have been tied up pretty tightly.
Olga, rubbing her wrists, glares at the men sprawled out on the floor.
”For now, we need to untie Willem, Geoff, and Ema as well.”
Feeling the eyes of the 3 still bound on the bed, I rushed Ares and Olga to get a move on.

It was easy to subdue these guys.
The man trying to mount Olga had his pants half-down.
I decided to deal with him later, assuming he wouldn’t be able to counterattack quickly, and teamed up with Ares to jump on the two men heading towards Mira and Geoff first.
We easily subdued the unsuspecting men, and the one scrambling to pull up his pants got knocked out by Ares and me working together.
Then we tied the hands and feet of the 3 men with rope, leading us to the current situation.

(Olga’s POV)
”I’m sorry… because of the grudge I bought, I put you all in danger…”
Mr. Ares bows his head to us.
But this incident was absolutely unforeseen.
The hired porter was a buddy of someone who held a grudge against Mr. Ares, and it was through his assistance that those with ill intentions were brought in; it’s not something he needs to apologize for.
Besides…
(We were also hiding things from Mr. Ares, Garm, and Ema…)
”No… it’s not your fault, Mr. Ares. Please lift your head.”
Geoff, who had been putting the tied-up men to sleep with a ‘Sleep’ spell, sat down next to me.
Both Geoff and Willem are now in a casual state of underwear.
There’s no need to hide our faces anymore.
”So… why were Geoff and Willem dressed as men?”
Mr. Ares’ question was quite reasonable.
In response, I spoke up instead of the two who had silently hung their heads.
”We… needed to get out of the imperial territory to come here”
Raising my hand to speak, the gazes of Mr. Ares, Garm, and Ema-Ema gathered on me.
”The 3 of us… were knights of a city-state.”
To be precise, members of the royal guard attached to the queen.
They couldn’t fulfill their mission…

Hearing my words in response to Mr. Ares’ question, Geoff began to sniffle.
Willem, comforting Geoff.

EmaEma inquired, as if recalling, and I nodded in response.
”Glad you’re safe. …I heard the guard there was wiped out along with the fall of the city?”
”We were the queen’s personal guards… but we were ordered to head towards the thinly guarded front lines…”
”…we fell in the midst of the chaos…”
”…when I came to, the castle had fallen, and the town was swarming with imperial soldiers”
Mr. Garm let out a sigh of regret, but I, Geoff, and Willem explained that we had ‘just happened to survive’.
”I see… so you disguised yourselves as men to get out of the imperial territory and come to this Raetia”
”Yes. Hiding our true selves was also necessary, but it’s more convenient and less dangerous to be a man in the imperial territory”
I nodded in agreement with Mr. Ares’ explanation.
”But… what about Ms. Olga?”
”I always wore full armor and I’m also quite large-framed”
I couldn’t help but smile wryly at EmaEma’s question.
In fact, since my time in Gaeltheus, I had never been looked at in a sexual way.

”N-no! We want to stick with Mr. Ares’s party!”
I shouted involuntarily, surprising everyone.
Of course, I wanted to work hard in the trustworthy Mr. Ares’s party as an adventurer.
But… it wasn’t just that.
(Joining this party and being recognized by Mr. Ares for the clan ‘Famière’ was nothing short of ‘fateful’ for us…)
I was reminiscing about the first time I came to the Famière Clan house and met the members.

The 3 of us struggled hard to hide our shock.
When we visited the Clan house to meet the members, after agreeing to become part of clan ‘Famière’ thanks to Mr. Ares’s introduction, we saw the figure of Princess Karin of Gaeltheus.
She introduced herself as Karina O’Brian, and it seemed she was the daughter of the legendary Heroic Swordsman, Shinji Baron O’Brian, the lord of this place.
Beside her was her guard knight, Gisela Schüssel, who had a fierce look.
Gisela probably wouldn’t know who we were.
After all, the 3 of us were the low-ranking guards in the lady’s knight squad.
But, we know her.
…we often saw Gisela closely guarding Princess Karin, always staying by her side.
(Gisela… you still carry out your duty, don’t you…)
I felt a bit envious of Gisela, who was fulfilling a mission that we couldn’t.

The 3 of us, I, Geoff, and Willem, knelt down and pleaded at that moment.
