(Liz’s POV)
An unbelievable scene unfolded right in front of me.
First, my full-powered ‘3-arrow shot’ sliced through the air.
The 3 arrows I released flew uselessly because the huge demon that should have been there vanished in an instant.
(Super fast…? No, was that ‘teleportation’!?)
But… I shot the arrow completely from his blind spot.
How did he recognize that?
Then, the vanishing demon suddenly appeared behind Simona and brought down a blade extending from his arm onto her back.
”Gah…!?”
Simona dropped to her knees with a groan.
”Simona!”
I shot another arrow at the demon and pulled out my short sword with my free left hand.
But, the demon named Shunel was once again gone from that spot.
I rushed over to Simona and checked her back…
The back part of the alloy chest plate, which was a pride of the Freeberry workshop, was deeply slashed and even pierced through the highly defensive underwear made by the 3 sisters… leaving a red scar on Simona’s dark skin.
”I’m okay. I don’t feel any pain…”

I turned my back to Simona and aimed my short sword.
”…So, where did that female demon go?”
”She vanished just after the battle started… I don’t sense her presence in the combat range.”
I felt Simona standing up behind me, and the sound of clang! echoed.
Probably the torn chest armor had fallen to the ground.
”That female demon must have pinned us down here… I think she went somewhere else.”

We whispered to each other while watching our surroundings.
I didn’t sense the demon Shunel.

I shoot an arrow at the demon (Shunel) who continues to attack and defend within its Rank S range.

The 3 arrows I fired are sucked into the demon (Shunel)’s giant body…and pierce its right horn, right shoulder, and right elbow.
The demon (Shunel) glances at me, then evades Simona’s downward strike by leaping backward.
Simona’s full-powered strike swings through the air and crashes to the ground.
Then, dust rises all around.

My vision is blocked by the dust, so I quickly create distance between myself and the two figures in front of me.

Within the dust, I can hear the clashing sounds of their swords continuing to fight.

Along with a scream, the demon (Vaize) fell from the sky.

Arrows were stuck in her left shoulder, side, and stomach──3 places.
