”Well then, let’s go see Dorothy.”
After finishing breakfast in my and Kazumi’s room, Liz stood up.
”She’s going to get treated by Mr. Rudolf for 2 or 3 days, right?”
”It seems like just medication will be enough. So it’s better to bring her to the party sooner.”
Rena answered my question.
”And we need to check her feelings too, right? Whether she wants to join our party and go on adventures with us.”
That’s true. If she doesn’t want to, we’ll have to think of another way to protect Dorothy from the men.
”Hiroya and Liz, you should go ahead. Rena and I have somewhere to stop by.”
”Huh? Really? Where?”
”Clothes. And underwear too. That girl only has rags, you know?”
Kazumi was right. So, Liz and I left the room first.
As we went down the stairs of the inn, we ran into ‘Tank’ Guido and the others who were just about to leave.
”Ah…”
”Ah…”
Ares and Liz’s eyes met, and Ares came closer to us.
”…Liz, I’m really sorry. I misunderstood you, and because of that, I hurt you. ──You’re an important friend to me…”
Ares bowed his head as he said that.
”…It’s true. Because of that, I almost ended up with a weird guy.”
Liz scolded Ares in a small voice.
”But… I’m okay now.”
Liz linked her arm with mine and kissed my cheek.
”I’ve become Hiroya’s girl.”
”What!”
I was caught off guard.
”Well, he’s a good guy. He’s blushing and shy, but he’s super strong, cool, and most importantly, he’s kind.”
”Yeah, I know… So, if it’s Hiroya, I can relax.”
I didn’t get a chance to say anything.
”Ares, hurry up and call your fiancée, okay? I think that’s definitely better, and you’ll grow as an adventurer. I guarantee it.”
I managed to find a moment to speak. And I had to break Ares’s flag from last night again. I absolutely had to avoid any “calling the fiancée” death flags.
”Yeah, she’s supposed to come to the village this weekend. I’ll introduce you… to Liz too.”
Liz and I both nodded with smiles.

”I’m sorry. It seems like I used Ares to get over my feelings…”
Liz, holding my hand, apologized while looking straight ahead.
”Is that so? Isn’t Liz my girl?”
I looked up at Liz. She turned bright red and pulled my hand, walking faster, and eventually started running.
”Wait, wait, Liz!”
”Just let it be!”
Liz stopped in a small alley off the street leading to the Rosen Clinic.
”Hiroya… is what you said this morning really true?”
”?”
”Well… you want to… um, hold me…”
Liz spoke while avoiding my gaze.
”Really. I like you, Liz, and I want to hold you.”
”Will you… make me your girl, Hiroya?”
”Yeah. I mean, I want you to be my girlfriend, if you don’t mind.”
Just as I answered, she suddenly hugged me and kissed me.
”Mmm…”
Liz lightly touched her tongue to mine before pulling away.
”…I don’t hate it. I’ve become… just a girl to you… a woman.”
Liz looked at me with a dreamy expression.
”Since ‘that night,’ my body has wanted to be held by Hiroya… and now my heart is drawn to you, and my body is aching to be held quickly…”
I gulped. Liz was radiating an incredible charm, and I couldn’t help but swallow.
”If the timing is right… okay?”
”…Is tonight not good?”
Liz whispered in my ear.
”Tonight… well, we might be welcoming Dorothy, right?”
”I see… yeah, I’ll hold back…”
”I’m sorry.”
I kissed Liz on the cheek and took her hand to head to the clinic.

”This water medicine is made from the minerals of hot springs. It will help heal your sore throat faster. Make sure to drink one measure of it in the morning.”
Dorothy sits up in bed and receives an examination from Mr. Rudolf. She accepts the bottle he hands her and bows her head.
”…Also, try to go to the hot springs in this village every day. Gargling with the spring water should also be effective.”
Dorothy nods at Mr. Rudolf’s words.
”And… this powder medicine is expected to help suppress the ‘lust’ that is generated by the crotch tattoo. …It can’t suppress it 100%, but when you feel the lust rising, take it as a comfort.”
Mr. Rudolf hands Dorothy a paper bag and says that.
Dorothy accepts it and bows her head again.
”Alright. That’s all the medicine. You can leave the hospital once Rena and the others arrive.”
Dorothy bows even deeper than before at Mr. Rudolf’s words.
Mr. Rudolf leaves the room, and Kazumi, Rena, and Martina enter the hospital room.
”Well, Hiroya, please go out of the room for a bit.”
Kazumi tries to send me out of the room.
”…Do you want to peek at Dorothy’s changing clothes?”
”I want to peek, but I’ll restrain myself…”
Kazumi laughs and pushes me out of the room.
* * *
”Let’s go to the dwarf sisters’ smithy first and ask them to make Dorothy’s armor.”
Liz, who is walking at the front of our group. After that, I confirmed Dorothy’s intentions, and she replied, “I would like to join your party. I’m confident in my archery and fighting skills.”
”Doro-Doro looks so pretty…”
It’s no wonder Martina is amazed. Dorothy is wearing a dark green one-piece dress with a leather outer corset. She has a vest made of snow wolf fur and a cloak over it, giving her the impression of a ‘Razia Village girl’.
However, she is an elf. Although her fashion is that of a village girl, her face is exceptionally beautiful. And because of the crotch tattoo, her body has a glamorous quality that is uncharacteristic of elves.
”Yes. It suits you very well.”
Dorothy blushes at my whisper.
After walking for a while from the clinic, we arrive at a part of the village where a large barracks now stands, which used to be the construction site for the barracks.
There is a stone building with a large chimney. The sign reads ‘Smithy Freeberry・Razia Village Branch’.
As we enter through the door, Meluda, with her twin tails, is sitting at the counter at the back of the store.
”Welcome… Oh, it’s Hiro and the others!”
Meluda waves at us cutely.
”This is Doro-Doro, an elf. She joined our party by chance.”
At our introduction, Dorothy bows her head.
”Doro-Doro, I’m Meluda. Nice to meet you.”
That’s good. In other fantasy worlds, elves and dwarves are often depicted as having a bad relationship. But it seems that’s not the case in this world.
From the back room of the store,
──Clang! Clang!
we hear the sound of hammers.
”Aluda and Eluda are making the alloy for Grandpa. Someone broke their gauntlets, so they’re adding another layer of alloy to improve them.”
”The alloy part was undamaged, though?”
”But Hiro, you seem to use your gauntlets as a shield… so strength is important.”
I see. By the way, the three sisters here started calling me ‘Hiro’ after we moved here. I’ve never been called that way in my past life.
When we tell them that we want Dorothy’s leather armor made, Dorothy is immediately taken to another room by Meluda for measurements.
