Chapter 127 My Ultimate Erotic Magic Tool ①

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

An exchange of opinions on new products, inviting Satsuki, a Court Mage, and Aerith from the Garou Merchant Guild¹. Well, to put it plainly, it’s a discussion about what kind of new products to sell and how to sell them.

”Now then, our shop is currently in the process of producing high-end items like the ‘Wriggle Ddo-Buddy²‘ and the ‘Piston Machine³.’ Satsuki, can I ask for a progress report?” Kento asked.

”Yes, of course. Several prototypes are already complete,” Satsuki replied.

In the production of these magic tools, Satsuki had shown exceptionally brilliant work. Just as I’d think she’d finished assembling a magic circuit in a matter of days, she’d have applied it to the actual object in a heartbeat. She greedily absorbed my ideas, yet pointed out flaws firmly if she found any.

It had been the same since the development of the heating magic tool, but that relied heavily on mechanical elements using a “vibration mechanism” and Fire Rat fur; it wasn’t a pure magic tool. In contrast, both of these products use magic stones as a power source and control movements via magic circuits—they are magic tools through and through.

Well, it seems she pulled a few all-nighters, but when I told her not to overdo it, she said, “I just forgot to sleep because it was so much fun, I’m not overdoing it.” It felt more like she was telling me not to get in her way.

”Let’s start by explaining the ‘Piston Machine,’ which has simpler movements,” Satsuki said.

”Looking forward to it,” Aerith replied.

While speaking to Aerith, Satsuki placed the ‘Piston Machine’—a magic tool with a ‘Ddo-Buddy’ protruding from a base—between the three of us. Incidentally, the shape is a straddle-type, designed for use on a bed. Aerith, who seemed to grasp how to use it immediately, let her eyes sparkle at the sight.

”This is wonderful…! So this ‘Ddo-Buddy’ performs up-and-down motions automatically…?!” Aerith asked.

”Yes, I’m going to start it now, so please watch,” Satsuki said.

Declaring this to the increasingly excited Aerith, Satsuki pressed a “switch” located in the center of the base that secured the ‘Ddo-Buddy.’ Then, with a faint ‘whirr’ of mechanical sound, the ‘Ddo-Buddy’ began to move slowly up and down.

 ”T-This is the ‘Piston Machine’…!!!”

Aerith’s eyes widened, and her body trembled with shock. She is now my mate and a seller through the Garou Merchant Guild, but she was originally a customer—or rather, a fan—of the magic shop Harvest. It seems those feelings haven’t vanished, as she shook with emotion upon witnessing the marvelous performance of the new product.

”Fufu, Aerith-san, don’t think this is the end, okay?” Satsuki said.

”W-What do you mean? C-Could it be…?!” Aerith asked.

”Well, I wonder. Why don’t you try moving this sliding ‘knob’ on the side?” Satsuki asked.

 ”Y-Yes!” Aerith replied.

Aerith swallowed hard and reached out a trembling hand toward the indicated “knob.” Since it’s currently a prototype, nothing is written on it, but the retail version is planned to have the characters for “Low, Medium, High” engraved next to it.

 ”…!!!”

As Aerith moved the knob, the ‘Ddo-Buddy’ increased its up-and-down speed with a ‘swish-swish’ rhythm. Needless to say, it was a speed adjustment function. Aerith, quick to understand, realized there was one more level on the knob and moved it.

 Thump-thump-thump-thump…!!!

 ”…!!!! !”

The ‘Ddo-Buddy’ began to move up and down violently. Aerith lost her words and stared blankly at the sight for a while. Satsuki and I also remained silent, waiting for her reaction. The sight of three adults surrounding an oscillating ‘Ddo-Buddy’ would have been extremely surreal to an outside observer.

Eventually, prompted by Satsuki, Aerith turned off the switch of the ‘Piston Machine.’ She closed her eyes, opened them again, and slowly began to state her impressions.

”In conclusion, it will sell. Its usage and effects are obvious at a glance. No matter how high the price becomes, I would certainly obtain it. And there are plenty of women among our shop’s customers who would think the same.” Aerith said.

 ”Yes!”

Satsuki instinctively pumped her fist and turned to me with a beaming smile. Seeing her look as if she were saying, “Praise me, praise me!” made me feel a sense of warmth, but since she’d likely get angry if I showed such an expression, I hid it well and nodded solemnly. Satisfied with my reaction, she turned back to Aerith to explain the product further.

”Fufu, and what’s more, this ‘Ddo-Buddy’ part is exactly the same as the regular ‘Ddo-Buddy’ currently on sale. Do you understand what that means?” Satsuki asked.

”Eh…? But this ‘Ddo-Buddy’ is integrated with the base below, isn’t it…?” Aerith asked.

”Yes, it looks that way. But if you open this…” Satsuki said.

Satsuki spoke happily and pressed a button at the base of the ‘Ddo-Buddy.’ Then, with a ‘pop,’ a lid opened, revealing a metal fastener securing the ‘Ddo-Buddy.’ She loosened it and removed the ‘Ddo-Buddy’ to show us.

”Like this, the ‘Ddo-Buddy’ can be easily removed from the main unit. It’s easy to wash, and above all, you can attach other ‘Ddo-Buddies’ to it!” Satsuki said.

”W-What…! T-Then perhaps, if someone already owns other ‘Ddo-Buddies’…!” Aerith asked.

”You can swap them as much as you like!” Satsuki replied.

Aerith showed a wonderful reaction. Smiling broadly, Satsuki attached and detached the ‘Bumpy Ddo-Buddy,’ the ‘Drill Ddo-Buddy,’ and the ‘Tremble-Ddo-Buddy,’ turning on the main unit’s switch to demonstrate that there were no malfunctions.

”How is it? For customers who have bought our products until now, this is a feature that will make them happy, right?” Satsuki asked.

”Yes, it makes one want to try various things, and it will surely increase the sales of existing products. It is a perfect sales strategy…!” Aerith replied.

Satsuki became more and more gleeful, stroking the body of the ‘Piston Machine.’ Her appearance, as if praising a well-behaved child, was quite perverted, and it felt like she was opening a door to a strange fetish. However, Satsuki, having been completely dyed by our shop’s influence, didn’t even notice.

”Also, yes… The great thing about this ‘Piston Machine’ is that it doesn’t require mana to activate! This was Kento’s idea; by mounting a magic stone at the tip of the ‘switch,’ the mana from the magic stone usually doesn’t flow into the magic circuit. Thanks to that, the magic stone lasts longer, and look, this ‘switch’ part is removable, making it easy to replace the magic stone!” Satsuki said.

”That is important. Many of our shop’s customers do not possess mana, so being able to be used by anyone is a blessing.” Aerith replied.

Satsuki began to speak rapidly like an otaku from the previous world, and Aerith nodded in agreement. Emboldened by that reaction, Satsuki heated up even more and continued her explanation.

”Exactly! Mages often end up powering circuits with their own mana, so many view magic stones as nothing more than mana amplifiers. There are city magic toolmakers who have had similar ideas, but this is the first time I’ve seen such a simple mechanism. A design with all the waste stripped away! Above all, users of adult magic tools are used to ‘switches’ from the ‘Tremble-Ddo-Buddy,’ and even the sliding speed adjustment function can be used without any discomfort if they’ve used the ‘Nipple Clamper‘ or ‘Uterine Massager!’ It’s a calculated design as if everything was thought out from the start!” Satsuki said.

Satsuki’s words kept coming faster and faster. To be honest, I hadn’t thought that far ahead, but I decided to keep a straight face as if to say, “Everything is as intended.” If this raises my reputation, it’s a small price to pay. I’m grateful to the engineers of the previous world.

”I used the magic circuit I assembled to realize the up-and-down motion, but I had a lot of trouble improving the stability of the movement. However, some opinions suggested that it might be better to have randomness, like moving strongly suddenly, or conversely, moving weakly as if to tease. For that, I need to reassemble the circuit again, but I already have it mostly figured out in my head…!” Satsuki said.

Satsuki finally started talking about functions not yet realized and the circuits themselves. Personally, I find people who give their all for what they like to be likable, but this wasn’t the place for that talk. It would all be Greek to Aerith.

”Well, let’s leave the future functional expansions aside and move on to explaining the next product, Satsuki.” Kento said.

”Ah, s-sorry. When it comes to technology, I just get passionate… Aerith-san, I’m sorry too, it wasn’t an interesting story, was it…” Satsuki asked.

”No, it was a very interesting story. It’s a rare opportunity to receive a lecture from an active Court Mage.” Aerith replied.

Satsuki looked apologetic while Aerith spoke with a gentle smile. For Aerith, who likely deals with difficult customers, this was probably nothing. Somehow, the relationship reminds me of a popular girl who is kind to otakus… While I was thinking about that, Satsuki regained her composure and took out a new ‘Ddo-Buddy.’

”Next is about this ‘Wriggle Ddo-Buddy’!” Satsuki said.

 Summary:

Kento, Satsuki, and Aerith meet to discuss new erotic magic tools. Satsuki reveals the ‘Piston Machine’ prototype, which features automated movement and speed control. Aerith is highly impressed and confirms its commercial potential. They discuss the interchangeable parts and the user-friendly design powered by magic stones.

 —

 Character Insight:

Satsuki shows a side of her that is deeply obsessive and passionate about her craft, bordering on social unawareness when she enters ‘tech-talk’ mode. Aerith demonstrates her professional adaptability, handling Satsuki’s intense enthusiasm with grace while maintaining her focus on marketability. Kento continues to play the role of the visionary ‘inventor,’ quietly profiting from the technical expertise of others while applying concepts from his original world.

 —

 Behind the Scene:

The author uses Satsuki’s dialogue to ground the ‘fantasy’ of the magic tools in a pseudo-scientific logic, making the world-building feel more cohesive even within an adult context.
