”So… is this a ‘scent to liven up a couple’s bedroom’?”
”Yes, exactly,” Nina replied.
We were in the middle of a strategy meeting regarding product sales for the Wielope Empire. The item “Sacred Artificer¹” Nina-Mailse had brought forward was our shop’s very first foray into aroma-based products.
”Heh, I didn’t know Harvest² carried stuff like that. Totally flew under my radar,” Loire-Rose said, peering in with genuine interest.
As a “Holy Figure³,” Rose was a big deal, but since this was a niche item popular mainly among married commoners, it hadn’t been mass-produced via “Holy Arts⁴” yet. I hadn’t sent any her way-or maybe it just wasn’t flashy enough and she’d overlooked it.
”But man, when I think of scent-based magic circuits, ‘Succubus King’s Incense⁵‘ is the first thing that comes to mind. Not exactly a great vibe, to be honest,” Rose added.
”No, this is completely different,” Nina explained. “If someone who’s already ‘in the mood’ catches a whiff, it just sets a slightly nicer atmosphere. Once the act begins, it heightens their mutual sensitivity to make things go smoother. It’s only an effect of that caliber.”
I understood her point. From the perspective of the Church, that was the standard evaluation. That might have been why it was stopped by an Archbishop before it could reach Rose. The “Succubus King’s Incense” was a magic circuit known as a “Forbidden Tool⁶” that had once supposedly brought an entire nation to ruin. It was highly addictive despite having low initial effects, dragging countless women down into a living hell.
It was only natural to be on guard. Depending on how you looked at it, we were trying to pull off something similar with this strategy, so we’d need to ensure its safety was fully guaranteed.
”So, you’re saying there’s a chance the aroma products will sell in Wielope too?” I asked.
”That’s the idea, Master! Actually, I’ve been researching how to replicate aroma products using ‘Holy Arts’ lately, and I came up with this!”
Nina pulled a device from her cleavage. At a glance, it was a perfectly ordinary D**do-Buddy⁷.
”…A Scented D**do-Buddy?”
”Yes! A ‘Good-Smelling D**do-Buddy’!” Nina proclaimed proudly.
”You’re still making the most ridiculous things…” I muttered.
There was a switch on the bottom; I assumed pressing it would release the scent. Still, “Good-Smelling D**do-Buddy” was a mouthful. It broke our shop’s naming conventions. If I had to name it, maybe “Sniff-Sniff Buddy”? No, that made it sound like the toy was doing the sniffing.
”I want to tell you to stop shoving weird functions into these things… but I have to admit, it might actually work for this plan,” I said.
”Right!? If we add this function to those ‘Interior Decor’ models you were talking about earlier…!” Nina exclaimed.
I pictured it: a rod-shaped piece of decor that glows, acts as a lotion fountain, and gives off a pleasant aroma. Or maybe one that vibrates and wriggles around on a bookshelf. It was a straight-up scene from hell. We’d have to work damn hard on the design to make them look aesthetically pleasing.
”Before that, we have to test it,” I said. I took the device from Nina, thrust it right up against her nose, and flipped the switch.
”Wh-What are you doing!?” Nina cried.
”An experiment, obviously. The developer has to be the first one to test it, right?”
”I-I am not going to be Master’s toy, okay!?”
”I’m not doing that. I just need to make sure the effects aren’t miscalibrated. I’m not about to use some suspicious tool you made on my precious wives.”
”H-How cruel! Are you saying it doesn’t matter what happens to me!?”
”I said, don’t make stuff you aren’t willing to use on yourself! Here! Just shut up and sniff!”
Getting a bit heated at Nina’s resistance, I thrust the toy at her. It was a highly suspicious sight, no matter how you sliced it, but this was a “wholesome” experiment.
”Nn, well, it’s only right for the producer to take responsibility for safety,” Rose said, sneaking up behind Nina and pinning her down in a hug. “Tell you what, I’ll join in too, so just behave yourself.”
Rose poked her face out next to Nina’s and started sniffing, her nostrils twitching rhythmically. Huff, huff.
”Even Loire-Rose…? Fine. But! If my idea gets officially adopted, you have to formally recognize me as your disciple, okay!?” Nina demanded.
”Ah-well, if it gets adopted safely,” I replied.
”I heard that!”
The two of them were now pressed body-to-body, faces lined up in front of the toy I was holding. They twitched their noses as they inhaled the mist. Sniff. Twitch. Sniff.
It was an even more depraved sight than before. Two clergywomen-and one was a “Holy Figure”-performing a d**k-sniffing session. I could practically hear the locks clicking on a whole new level of s*xual harassment.
”So, how is it?” I asked.
”Sniff. Nn, it definitely smells good. It’s refreshing… like citrus?” Rose noted.
”Sniff, sniff. That part is according to my taste. I can adjust everything besides the aphrodisiac components,” Nina added.
The scene in front of me was so perverse that I couldn’t focus on the technical details. Since the scent was wafting over to me as well, I could tell what she meant. The real issue wasn’t the aroma, but whether the aphrodisiac effect would actually manifest.
Before long, their cheeks were tinged a soft peach. Their eyelids grew heavy and dreamy. They stared blankly at the toy with vacant gazes. They shifted their lower bodies restlessly, letting out hot, heavy breaths.
”Sniff… Nina, is your body getting a little hot?” Rose whispered.
”Huff… You too, My Lady…. My back… it feels hot…”
This was bad. Somehow, more than the scent of the device, I could smell the sweet, cloying scent of a woman’s sweat. Their noses were now pressed against the tip of the toy, rubbing against it to catch an even stronger whiff.
”Huff, huff… Ah, this might be a little… risky…” Rose moaned.
”Ngh… Maybe… the effect was too strong…?” Nina gasped.
”Nn. I mean, it’s that, right? This whole thing…”
”…? What do you mean by ‘that’?” Nina asked, her eyes vacant.
”I mean, weren’t you saying this scent doesn’t work unless the person is already in the mood?”
”…Yes. I reproduced it with that in mind, but…?”
”Doesn’t that mean we’ve basically accepted this situation?” Rose asked, her voice dropping to a sultry, heavy tone. “I’m saying… aren’t we basically wanting Kento to make us sniff this thing and drive us into heat?”
Nina’s eyes went wide for a second before finally clicking. The gazes the two of them turned toward me were completely, utterly melted.

Sticks close to the Saint and might end up as Kento’s apprentice in the Church of Demon‑Subjugation. Smart, loyal, and quietly rebellious.
• Loire-Rose – Current Saintess and top of the Great Cathedral food chain. White hair, pale skin, blue eyes—the full divine aesthetic. Can literally manifest light and blessings, but don’t let the holy glow fool you. She’s pragmatic, money‑minded, and way too playful for church politics. Runs a workshop (yeah, even sells adult goods on the side) and keeps her “holy” mask on… most of the time. Originally born to a Salvation Faction family, later adopted by the previous Holy Figure. Total mix of divinity and chaos, and somehow it works.
• Kento – Lord Harvest—the unassuming owner of the Harvest magic tool shop (with a discreet adult goods side). An isekai’d Japanese salaryman resembling Kazuma Satou, with dark hair and basic magic for crafting. Recently triumphed over a Great Dragon; now juggles his harem, tinkering, and ties to Amelia and the Queen at Ddo-Buddy Manor.
