Volume 2 Chapter 13 Full Powers Ambassador

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Three days after the founding festival of Kashiwagi Manor, I set off towards the Royal Capital.

It’ll take at least a month to get to the Royal Capital, but it’s been over 5 years since I last went there.

With the decision to establish a human concession, I was requested by the Queen to assist Sir Aaron, so I headed to Kashiwagi Manor with my family, but it’s been quite a while since then.

On the way to the Royal Capital, I stopped for a night in Ilman, but neither Sir Mihail nor Lady Beyond had changed at all.

Five years can feel both fast and slow…

Even though I’ve arrived in the Royal Capital, the appearance of the town hasn’t changed much, and there are many people I want to see after such a long time, but this time it’s a direct summons from the Queen.

Anyway, I’m heading to the royal castle.

Then I was led into the audience chamber…

Ah, there she is. She’s here. I feel like I might cry…

Puruun looks well. She noticed me too, and her face relaxed for a moment, but then it quickly returned to a serious expression.

As expected of the ironclad secretary.

Following Puruun, Queen Asuka made her appearance.

Chancellor Rainsheyn was right beside her.

Wow. Queen Asuka hasn’t changed at all, or rather, hasn’t she become even more dignified and beautiful? Well, I’ve been through a lot with her, or rather, I’ve been made to go through a lot…

But since I’ve received her virginity, I guess as a man, I have no choice but to continue serving her.

”Mr. Yuuta. Long time no see! I’m glad to see you’re doing well.”

”Thank you very much. It’s an honor to see your esteemed face, Queen…”

”Ah, come on, come on. No need for all that formality. We’re not strangers, right? Just speak normally.”

 ”But if I do that…”

”Yuuta. Since the Queen herself has said so, just do it!!”

Whoa. I just got firmly told off by the ironclad secretary.

”Well, well, Puru. You don’t have to say it so high and mighty. So, Mr. Yuuta, the reason I called you here this time is…”

What? They’re still calling her Puru? I wonder if Puruun is saying Aaa-aaa behind her back too.

”Mr. Yuuta. As my plenipotentiary ambassador, could you please go to your world?”

 ”Uh, um… wait, what?!”

”What are you daydreaming about! You were probably thinking about where to go on a date with Puru tonight, weren’t you? If I don’t get a good answer, I won’t allow it!”

The queen said with a mischievous smile.

”Wait, so you want me to go to my original world as some kind of ambassador?”

”Plenipotentiary ambassador! I might have mentioned this before, but once we can freely come and go through the gate in the future, I want to have friendly exchanges with the people from your world. It might still be a while before we can truly come and go freely.”

She explained, her voice filled with both determination and hope as he leaned slightly forward.

”But according to Ms. Ellulu, it seems there are people over there who understand us, so I thought it would be good to start building a channel at least. I’ve received a report from Sistemador that we’ve finally accumulated enough mana to send 2 people.”

She continued, her tone serious yet optimistic, as if she truly believed in the potential of this new connection.

”So I called you, Mr. Yuuta. Would you go to that world with Ms. Claudel, the assistant to the prime minister, and help with building that channel?”

She asked, her gaze steady and earnest, as though waiting for me to understand the weight of the request.

”I know you probably want to go home with Ms. Akari and Karin-chan, but… is that not possible?”

She added, her expression softening slightly, tinged with a sense of understanding and a hint of regret.

”Yeah. When I was called, Sir Aaron mentioned that there was something behind it, and I was thinking the same thing.”

I said, my voice steady but laced with a hint of concern as I glanced off to the side for a moment.

”Honestly, both Ms. Akari and I have really settled into this world, and Karin is completely a resident here… It’s not that we don’t want to go home together, but I felt it was a bit questionable to use a project funded by such a national budget just for a homecoming.”

I continued, my expression thoughtful, as if weighing the implications of my words carefully.

”Just as expected from Mr. Yuuta. If you understand it that well, we can get to the point quickly. I know it sounds like a replacement, but I was thinking of letting the Royal Palace mages expand their research so that we can use the gate freely sooner rather than later.”

”So, about Melon and the others…”

”That’s what I’m saying, Yuuta. No saying no!!”

Whoa, the iron secretary is at it again.

”If that’s the case, I understand. However… I haven’t told Ms. Akari or Karin that I’ll be away from home for such a long time, and that’s a bit concerning.”

”The activity period over there can be about 3 months. You can come back anytime, so please lay the groundwork with the people there so that someone can come from here again in 5 years.”

Ah… I see. Queen Asuka isn’t thinking about this plan in terms of human lifespans. She plans to have one person go back and forth every 5 years, building relationships over 50 or a hundred years, patiently preparing until the gates can handle mass transport. Plus, if research on this side progresses, the gate issues might be resolved even faster.

”Got it. I’ll take on that role. But, Queen, I have one request. I will definitely return in 3 months, but please don’t let the other humans know that I’m going over there. Otherwise, with everyone longing for home, unexpected situations might arise.”

”That’s true. I understand that as well. So, starting tomorrow, please work out the specific plans with Ms. Claudel. And for today… Puru. You can take the rest of the day off. You can go down from here with Mr. Yuuta.”

”Uh, um, Queen… is that really okay?”

Puruun looks bewildered at what was said.

”Come on, no need to hold back anymore, go have fun with Mr. Yuuta until morning!!”

 ”Whoa, Queen. Such vulgar words…”

”What? You were the one saying that last night, Puru.”

These 2 really are… still such good friends. Chancellor Rainsheyn is smiling wryly.

After that, I leave the castle with Puruun by my side. Since the sun was still high in the sky, I spend a wonderful date with my second wife in the Royal Capital, a rare occasion after a long time, before heading to a hotel.

”I see. So Melon is also working hard, huh… She was really looking forward to meeting you. I think she still has feelings for you… Well, just be careful not to get ambushed by her when you return!”

Puruun joked, but I definitely couldn’t tell her that I had already slept with Melon.

Feeling a bit guilty, I fidgeted, and Puruun grew impatient.

 ”What’s wrong? Don’t hold back. I’m ready too… Look…”

As she guided my right hand to her crotch, I could feel her underwear was already soaked. She brought her face close to mine and gently closed her eyes. Damn. My second wife was so cute. To meet her expectations, I devoted myself to loving her over and over again until the morning.

 *

”Oh darling, humans really do age fast. You’ve become such a fine older gentleman… Even more to my liking~.”

The next morning after a passionate night with Puruun, I met up with Ms. Claudel to discuss the matter of the plenipotentiary ambassador. Ms. Claudel hadn’t changed a bit in 5 years.

”So, for this operation, I was thinking of relying on Mr. Tomori’s connections to make a connection with a high-ranking military official from that world. What do you think?”

”I think it’s a good idea… It’s pretty much the only lead we have. If we suddenly stormed the Capitol, Ms. Claudel, the CIA would abduct and dissect you.”

 ”Eek!! Really?!?”

 ”Well, I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen…”

”Oh, you’re such a tease, darling. And this time, let’s bring plenty of tags. There might be someone from that world who wants to study here.”

”But if they come here, they won’t be able to return right away. But if it becomes a national-level project, there might be volunteers for that want to study here.”

”Yeah, that’s right. That Stanford… was it? He suddenly came here, but there might be others like him.”

”No, no, he’s an exception. So, what’s he up to now?”

”I heard he was doing charcoal burning while keeping watch over the grave where his lover was buried in the Castell Mountains, but I haven’t heard anything about him in the last few years. Well, I didn’t really pay much attention to it.”

”Ugh. I hope he’s not dead somewhere… but then again, that might be what he wants.”

Just as Stanford suddenly came out from the gate under the royal castle, he was quickly subdued by the guards, and I and Ms. Akari were called in to assess the situation. Fortunately, since Ms. Akari was fluent in English, we managed to understand what was going on, but the details became clear only after Ellulu returned a little later.

”Anyway, it’s better to take more tags than less. If you run out of tags, Mr. Yuuta, you might never see Ms. Akari or Karin-chan again.”

”Oh, right! Ms. Claudel. So, when shall we depart?”

”I have some finer adjustments to make for my work, so how about in 4 days?”

”Got it. Until then, can I go around greeting acquaintances in the Royal Capital?”

”That’s fine, but please keep the gate matter strictly confidential. And, I know you’ll probably go on dates with Ms. Ellulu and others, but remember, I’m first, okay? I may not be your wife, but I’m apparently your number one friend with benefits?”

 ”Um… who said that?”

As I was puzzled, Ms. Claudel happily pulled my hand and led me out to the town.

* * *

”Ahh. Yuuta. More… I want to do it more.”

”No, sorry, Ellulu. It’s morning after all. I need to start getting ready at the Royal Palace soon…”

 ”Getting ready for what?”

 ”That’s… I can’t say.”

”What’s that supposed to mean? Are you still going to do it with Puruun?”

 ”Ah… yeah, that’s right.”

I had to say something like that to get her to back off.

 ”Yuuta, you idiot!”

Yesterday, I went around the Royal Capital, but unfortunately, the merchant guild and Ms. Sharlin were out in Tokura Village for some border official work, so I couldn’t meet them.

I did get to say hi to Ms. Humari from the Euler merchant guild.

Everyone at Ilman’s villa and the museum seemed to be doing well.

Looking back, I’ve really been helped by so many people in this world.

While I was lost in those thoughts, I visited Ellulu’s boutique, which is right in the heart of the Royal Capital…

but my sudden visit made Ellulu faint and she ended up with a nosebleed.

”Wow! Yuuta! I missed you so much!”

”Yeah, me too, Ellulu. But you really made your dream come true with such a nice shop.”

”Yeah. But, no, not yet. The fashion I’ve seen in your world is way beyond this. I’m aiming for that and still evolving. The queen is supporting me in various ways too.”

”Yeah, that’s true. You can definitely aim even higher.”

”Yep. I’m going to make all the women’s underwear in this world like the bras and panties from your world.”

 ”Haha… Good luck with that.”

After that, we had a meal together and spent the night, but when it was time to say goodbye in the morning, Ellulu ended up crying.

”So don’t worry. I’ll definitely be back in about 3 months.”

”…I knew it. You’re going somewhere. But I trust you, Yuuta. When we meet again, let’s not just have one night, but 2 nights in a row of fun.”

”No way, I’ll die from that…”

 ”…”

Well, it seems like she accepted it. I need to meet up with Ms. Claudel soon.

Then, just as we were parting, Ellulu whispered in my ear.

”Say hi to Tomori for me…”

”Huh? Ellulu, where did that come from?”

”Oh, it’s just a woman’s intuition. Having been there once, I always think about when I might get to go again, and I realized that soon, one or 2 people might be able to go…”

”Seriously. Well, for now, it’s a secret, so take care.”
