Chapter 110 The Evil Dragon’s Bloodline Family Meeting꞉ The Great Reversal Begins

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

The deadline for humanity’s negotiations with Yaten, the Evil Dragon who’s supposed to destroy the world, was fast approaching, now that the cleanup from the Seal Dragon Festival was finally finished. The entire mess, which had sprung from the Shiryuin Clan’s rampage, had caused a massive global upheaval, but just as Yaten had predicted, everything had calmed down peacefully within a month.

Although two World-Destroying Evil Dragons had waged an apocalyptic war, the only direct casualties were the guests at the Seal Dragon Festival.

The wider world had mostly suffered the psychological distress of witnessing two massive Evil Dragons fighting in the sky, a spectacle that practically covered the heavens. Simply put, in a world already in chaos due to the Heaven and Earth Reversal problem, long-term interest in an incident that didn’t directly affect them wouldn’t last.

”Accompanying these negotiations with humanity, I shall be absent from the Underground Temple for a short while, noja. While I am gone, the family must stand together and prepare for any threats from outsiders—though, with my daughters, Sakuya and Uigetsu, and the Void Dragon here, I suppose there is little need for worry, noja.”

Yaten was holding a final Family Meeting in the living room of the Underground Temple before her departure.

My wives, the Mothers Sakuya and Uigetsu, along with the Void Dragon, showed their serious resolve to protect the family. And our children—Meizuki (めいづき), Shiratsuki (しらつき)¹, Gingetsu, and Akika—listened intently to the words of their progenitor, Yaten, unable to completely hide their tension and anxiety.

This was the first time the family, inheritors of the Evil Dragon’s blood, would face the absence of the absolute strongest, Yaten. Even with the confidence of possessing world-class strength, their total lack of experience in the outside world left them vulnerable to the anxiety of the unknown.

From my perspective, as the former Head of the Shiryuin Clan, who knew most of the world’s powerful individuals, I was certain that no one could truly stand against my daughters, Sakuya and Uigetsu, or the Void Dragon. However, because they lived in the narrow world of the Underground Temple, my daughters hadn’t fully grasped the immense power of the Evil Dragon Bloodline that resided in their own veins.

”Don’t feel anxious, Sakuya and Uigetsu. As one who was a World-Destroying Evil Dragon, I know there are almost no strong people who can match you, noja—as long as you avoid carelessness and overconfidence, I guarantee you are the strongest after me, your Mother.”

”Yes, Mother,” Sakuya affirmed, her eyes filled with resolute determination. “Since we have no combat experience, we can’t completely shake off the anxiety yet, but we will protect this Underground Temple and our family, no matter what.”

”We just have to fight off any intruders, right?” Uigetsu chimed in, her voice energetic and ready for a fight. “Boku will absolutely not let my guard down for the sake of the family, and I’ll beat up the enemy without mercy!”

In an environment where the only opponents they ever measured themselves against were family members of equal or greater strength—Mizuki (水姫) being the only exception—they engaged only in mock battles with their father and the Evil Dragon Bloodline, meaning they didn’t accurately recognize the full extent of their own Abilities.

To my daughters, their Mother (Yaten) was effortlessly powerful, their competing sisters were near-equals, their father (me) could contend with them through experience and knowledge, and the Void Dragon, their Mother’s clone, was a league all her own. ²

Sakuya and Uigetsu, who had honed their skills in the ultimate environment for those seeking power—where the absolute strong constantly clashed—didn’t gain the arrogance of a powerful person. Instead, they gained a mindset free of the carelessness and overconfidence that led to me sealing Yaten for a thousand years by human schemes.

Since they’ve never faced a weaker opponent, they possess a spirit that would never dare to insult a foe, making them the most terrifying kind of absolute strong should someone oppose them.

The arrogance of the strong is the only opening through which the weak can achieve a reversal. If even that possibility is crushed, the weak have no choice but to be completely overrun by the strong.

”Furthermore, you all have your father with you,” Yaten continued, her gaze shifting to me. “I believe that with the aid of the thousand years of technique and wisdom from the descendant of the Shiryuin Clan, who sealed even a World-Destroying Evil Dragon, you can overcome even the most powerful foes and the most cunning schemes, noja.”

”Fufu, that’s right,” Sakuya chuckled softly, her body leaning closer to my side. “As long as Father is by my side, no enemy will be a problem.”

”If Father is backing us up, we’re invincible!” Uigetsu agreed, pushing herself against my other side with an enthusiastic bump.

To the children of the Evil Dragon’s blood, I, their father, am a person they place absolute Trust in.

At Yaten’s words, Sakuya and Uigetsu flanked me, pressing their bodies against mine, and the children instantly swarmed, clinging to my body. The six daughters, whose very souls had been stained Papa Daughter since their tiny, nascent lives, fixed me with a passionate, even lustrous gaze, looking up at their Absolute Person with complete Trust.

The unwavering conviction in their shining eyes and the sight of my daughters doubting nothing and believing their father to be absolute re-recognized the responsibility I bore for having stained their souls completely Papa Daughter.

If the children of the Evil Dragon’s blood devoted everything to their father, then I, as their father, must respond to my children’s expectations with every fiber of my being. To ensure they fully felt the joy of having their souls completely stained Papa Daughter by a being worthy of being looked up to as their Absolute, I must become the perfect father for Sakuya, Uigetsu, Meizuki, Shiratsuki, Gingetsu, and Akika.

When I ran my fingers through my daughters’ hair and brushed their cheeks, their eyes deepened with even greater joy, and they nestled closer, embracing me to warm their Papa Daughter bodies and souls.

Sakuya and Uigetsu, whose blossoming figures held the fullness of fertile bodies and who possessed the magnificence of great flowers in full bloom; the younger daughters—Meizuki, Shiratsuki, Gingetsu, and Akika—whose small bodies, only a month after birth, already revealed the beginnings of ravishing beauty. Every one of them presented the picture of willing spiritual and physical captivity to the existence of their father, their eyes waiting blindly for my pronouncements, like a shrine maiden awaiting an oracle.

”You all truly love your Father, don’t you…” I murmured, deeply moved.

”It is precisely because you are the Father I love from the bottom of my heart and to whom I should offer my body, that I was blessed with my darling Akika,” Sakuya responded, her voice thick with emotion.

”There’s no man better than Father!” Uigetsu declared, her arms tightening around me. “That’s why we loved each other, and even though we’re father-daughter, I became your bride!”

The Papa Daughter Fallen Children strongly nodded in agreement with their Mothers’ words. The four younger daughters gazed with envy at Sakuya and Uigetsu, who had formed the forbidden father-daughter relationship and hoped to eventually be taken as wives by their father, just like their Mothers.

The Evil Dragon’s Bloodline would surround the chosen male of their clan and absolutely refuse to let go—this was a manifestation of the desire for exclusivity inherited from their progenitor, Yaten, and proof of their innate nature as Papa Daughters. ³

While I watched my family willingly fall into captivity and devotion to their father, I saw Yaten and the Void Dragon observing the scene with a deep, bottomless satisfaction.

”I predict that when Yaten leaves for the Land of Izumo (出雲) for the ceremony to assume the Divine Seat—an unwelcome intruder will appear in the Underground Temple.”

”Their goal will be the Evil Dragon’s children, noja,” Yaten asserted, her voice low. “They will be after the world-destroying power, and the fools who recklessly desire it will be endless.”

”An act of stupidity to oppose Mother, and an invasion to kidnap the children while predicting the strength of the Evil Dragon’s blood…” Sakuya mused, her expression serious.

”They probably aren’t thinking ahead at all, are they?” Uigetsu said, a slight, cynical edge to her voice. “If you dangle gold and treasure in front of people, a certain number of them will absolutely charge in, no matter how dangerous or how strict the security is, y’know.”

—I told the children in advance what was about to happen. It was predictable that foolish, reckless people would target the Evil Dragon’s children as soon as the World-Destroying Evil Dragon left the Underground Temple. I knew from experience that a certain number of humans and Youma (妖怪) would absolutely carry out such a plan, no matter how insane it seemed.

”Throughout these one thousand years, there were many who tried to undo the Evil Dragon’s Sealing,” I explained to them. “And a fair number of those fools acted on the baseless assumption that freeing the Evil Dragon would somehow lend them its colossal power. The simple information that the children of the World-Destroying Evil Dragon’s blood are here is enough for humans and Youma to absolutely appear, planning to invade the Underground Temple and abduct you.”

”The Underground Temple’s Barrier is also incomplete, since the secret arts (秘術) managed by the Branch Family have been lost, noja. There truly will be fools who take this as a once-in-a-thousand-years opportunity to take action, noja…” Yaten sighed, the wisdom of ages in her tone.

I recalled past intruders, and most recently, someone like Mizuki would fit the category of those fools. At the point where they recklessly decide to act and invade, the threat is virtually non-existent, but I can never afford to be careless in a situation where my family is targeted.

Even if the attacks from malicious outsiders cause no physical harm to my daughters, there’s a real possibility of mental distress. I could not allow any unnecessary prejudice or preconceived notions to taint them before they could interact with human society, so I planned for the cleanup to be handled mostly by the Void Dragon and myself.

”I intend to finish the negotiations with humanity and the ceremony to assume the Divine Seat as quickly as possible—but until then, I want you to show the foolish invaders the Evil Dragon’s fangs well!”

As I spoke encouraging words to Sakuya and Uigetsu, Yaten’s gaze fixed intently on both the Void Dragon and me. I silently nodded, understanding her intent: to keep the dirtier work away from our children.

 Summary:

The Evil Dragon Yaten is leaving the secluded Underground Temple for a month to deal with global politics and ascend to her new status. This creates a power vacuum the family’s patriarch—the former Shiryuin Clan Head—knows will be exploited. The young Evil Dragon daughters, Sakuya and Uigetsu, along with their four infant sisters, are fiercely devoted to their Father and utterly confident in their strength, but they lack real-world experience.

Yaten tasks them with being ready to crush any fool who dares to invade the Temple to seize their world-destroying power, but the heavy-lifting of defense is tacitly passed to her husband and the Void Dragon. The scene closes on the family’s intense bond and preparedness for the coming threat.

 Character Insight:

The daughters of the Evil Dragon Bloodline are defined by an absolute, almost terrifying devotion to their father, which is an inherited ‘desire for exclusivity’ from Yaten. Their lack of contact with weaker foes means they possess no arrogance, making them incredibly dangerous opponents who will treat every invader as a top-tier threat. The Narrator recognizes his ‘Papa Daughter’ responsibility and accepts his role as the strategic anchor for their immense power.

 Behind the Scene:

This chapter is the start of a new arc, the Heaven and Earth Reversal Arc. The primary conflict is shifting from the global Evil Dragon War to a more intimate defense of the family and the children’s powerful bloodline. The term ‘Heaven and Earth Reversal’ implies an inversion of norms—the strong being clueless about the weak, and the secluded family being forced to face the chaotic outside world. The father’s knowledge is the critical counterbalance to the Evil Dragon Bloodline’s raw power.

 —

 T/L:

¹ Shiratsuki (白月): A compound Japanese name meaning ‘White Moon’ or ‘Silver Moon’. She is one of the four infant daughters born to the Narrator/Father.

² This is where a diagram of the family’s internal power structure would go, visually showing Yaten > Void Dragon > Sakuya/Uigetsu > Narrator (Knowledge/Strategy).

³ The scene is incredibly crowded with the devoted family members clinging to the Father. The image focuses on this central, absolute trust.

⁴ Izumo (出雲): An ancient province of Japan, now part of Shimane Prefecture, known for its deep historical and mythological connections, often associated with the gods and the ‘Divine Seat’ in Shintoism.

⁵ Youma (妖怪): A general term for supernatural creatures, spirits, monsters, or demons in Japanese folklore. The context implies these are non-human entities who also desire the Evil Dragon’s power.

⁶ Secret arts (秘術): Refers to powerful, often hereditary, techniques or spells that are typically kept highly guarded or esoteric, in this case, a critical part of maintaining the barrier.

Notes:

• Akika – Sakuya’s daughter.
