Usually, at a love hotel, I would order food, but this is a different world.
I didn’t think there would be room service here.
But they have drinks, so maybe there’s food too?
The fridge was only full of drinks.
What else could there be?
I looked around.
”If only there was a menu…”
Just then, a see-through panel appeared in front of me.
What is this?
I rubbed my eyes, but it wasn’t a dream.
The panel was really there.
It showed some words.
It looked like a display from a sci-fi movie, floating in the air.
This is high-tech for a fantasy world.
I looked closer and saw some options.
What’s this?
User Info, External Info, Services, FAQ.
I tapped on Services.
New choices appeared.
Room Service, Laundry, Housekeeping, etc.
Familiar things.
There it was, just as I hoped.
”Room Service”
When I pressed that, a menu like a restaurant’s popped up.
Steak, pasta, curry rice, even salad, soup, and dessert.
The menu in this world is surprisingly modern.
It was a relief to see familiar dishes.
”What should I get… maybe curry is good?”
I looked at the menu and hesitated, but in the end, I chose curry.
Even in this world, I might be missing modern flavors.
But will room service really bring it?
Where will it come from?
Who makes it?
I tapped the order button with those questions in my mind.
Suddenly, I heard a “poing” sound from somewhere.
What was that?
I turned to see a small door in the wall with a light above it.
It looked like a little delivery box.
No way, is room service real?
I opened the door, surprised, and there it was──steaming curry rice on a tray.
”No way!”
I was amazed for the umpteenth time today.
I moved it to the table, took a bite, and the familiar taste hit me.
Yup, it’s good.
The smell and taste of the spices are just like curry from Japan.
Even in this strange world, finding a familiar flavor makes me feel a bit better.
After finishing my curry, I ordered coffee in the same way.
Soon, steaming coffee arrived on a tray from that small door again.
I picked up the coffee and took a sip.
The nice smell and bitter taste calmed me down.
Holding the steaming cup, I thought about checking out more items on the list.
I reached out and touched the clear board again.
I tapped on “User Info” at the top.
The moment my finger touched it, the text changed quickly, and a new screen popped up.

This feels like a game.
But there isn’t much info.
Level 1, of course.
What is MP?
Magic Points?
I’m not sure if it’s a lot or a little, but it feels low.
And it’s 4 out of 10.
Earlier, the curry was 5 points and the coffee was 1 point on the menu.
I spent them without thinking… Is that okay?
Wow, 60% is gone already.
Normally in games, you can recover with potions or inns… but this is an inn.
There are no potions here.
My thoughts are all jumbled.
After a warm bath and filling up on curry, I feel very sleepy.
I drank coffee, but I don’t feel the effect at all.
The caffeine seems to be losing against my sleepiness.
And in front of me is a comfy-looking bed.
This bed looks really cozy.
”But hold on!”
Before sleeping, I became a bit cautious.
If someone saw the strange door in this empty space, they would be shocked.
No, even worse, they might get suspicious about its presence.
After all, a Love Hotel door appearing out of nowhere in a strange town is crazy.
And if there’s a weird door, people want to open it.
I’d be in trouble if someone came in.
Worst case, a robber could break in.
So what should I do?
Anyway, I tap the “External Info” on the menu.
Then, a video showed up on the screen.
It looked like a scene from a surveillance camera.
It was an empty back alley.
It was quiet, and there were no people around.
It seemed to be the place where I used my skill.
But I couldn’t see the door to the room I entered.
”…?”
So, where does that door lead to?
I stared at the door of the room I was in.
I took a deep breath and opened the door.
In front of me was just a plain back alley.
”What is this?”
Surprised, I checked the menu, and I saw myself peeking outside from the door.
I carefully closed the door again.
As I closed it, the door in the video disappeared.
I see, while I’m in the room, there’s no door to the outside world.
I didn’t need to worry about intruders.
This skill might be more useful than I thought.
”Well, that’s good. I’ll just take a nap for now.”
Relaxed, I stopped thinking hard and sank into the bed.
And soon, I was pulled into the world of dreams.
