”A hot spring… what’s that?”
Kéa tilts her head, clearly unfamiliar with the concept.
Lifia explains,
”Near volcanoes, lakes and rivers heat up and become hot water. People call that a hot spring… or so I’ve heard.”
It seems like hot springs are rare in these parts.
”?”
Kéa still looks puzzled.
”Basically, it’s a type of bath.”
With this simple explanation, Kéa’s eyes light up.
”Oh, then I want to buy one right away!”
Kéa pleads with a joyful expression, excited about the bath.
”Wait, wait,”
I can’t help but chuckle.
For now, we enter a safe Love Hotel, go through the door, and into room 101.
In the warm room, I take a moment to breathe after taking off my upper clothes.
I open the menu and check the list of available facilities.
There it is: “Hot Spring: 1200MP.”
Yes, the new facility, the hot spring, is quite expensive in terms of MP.
Until now, I didn’t have enough MP.
But thanks to this level-up, I can finally afford it.
Compared to other Love Hotel items, the pricey hot spring raises expectations for its functions.
I wait a bit, staring as my MP recovers to 1200.
There are several types of hot springs to choose from: cypress, rock, outdoor, and even herbal or milk baths.
Which one should I pick first?
Each one costs 1200MP to buy.
I want to buy them all eventually, but for now, I can only get one.
”Which one should I choose?”
”Are we there yet? Are we there yet?”
Kéa can’t wait.
Lifia is fidgeting too, a little excited.

Without hesitation, I tap the button to buy the hot spring.
The moment my finger touches it, a corner of the room transforms, and a door appears.
”Oh!”
Kéa gasped in surprise and ran straight for the door.
But right before she reached it, she suddenly stopped dead.
”…Milord, please, I beg you.”
”Alright.”
”Haha…”
Kéa stepped aside, and Lifia nodded in agreement.
Seeing that, I just chuckled softly.
Looks like she remembered to give me the lead this time.
Probably thanks to Lifia’s teaching.
I open the door.
”Is this… outside?”
Kéa asked, voice full of curiosity.
Beyond the door was an open-air bath, steam rising from the hot water.
It was a spacious outdoor hot spring, the steam blending into the sky as it rose lazily.
No walls or ceiling around it, nothing blocking the view.
Before me was a shimmering white world.
The weather outside was clear and sunny.
The sky stretched endlessly, a perfect blue, and sunlight reflected off the snow, making it shine.
It was so beautiful that it almost made me forget we were on the snow mountain of dungeon4th Floor.
And the bath was plenty big too.
With this, just me, Lifia, Tifi, and Kéa could soak together comfortably.
Even more people wouldn’t be a problem.
”Is it not dangerous?”
Kéa’s worry was totally justified.
A lone outdoor bath in the middle of the snowy mountain──just standing there, it’s easy to think monsters might attack or an avalanche could happen.
But I don’t think my skill “Love Hotel” has any deadly flaws like that.
”Let’s check it out.”
While saying that, I stepped forward past the steam.
The snow underfoot crunched loudly with every step.
It was cold when I touched it, melting quickly away.
Feels real, like actual snow.
After a few steps, I ran into an invisible wall.
When I felt around with my hand, I found a transparent, sturdy barrier separating the hot spring from the outside world.
Like a barrier or a ward or something.
No need to worry about intruders, then.
I tapped the wall lightly, but it didn’t vibrate.
It’s probably completely sealed off.
From the windows of the Love Hotel so far, we could see outside, but from outside, nobody could see us.
Same for this outdoor bath, I bet.
”Looks safe here. They can’t see us from outside, and no monsters can get in. We can relax and enjoy.”
When I said that, Kéa nodded happily, her face lighting up with relief.
”Then it’s safe! I’ll go in right now!”
Seeing her happily heading toward the bath, Lifia also smiled quietly.
We took off our clothes in the changing room and headed for the steaming hot spring.
The cold outside snow mountain air bit into our skin.
But as soon as our feet stepped into the bath, a cozy warmth wrapped around our bodies.
”Ah, as I thought, hot springs are the best.”
Soaking in the water, my body slowly warmed up, and I felt like all my tiredness was melting away.
This warm spring, that makes you forget the cold of the snowy mountain, is no doubt part of the Love Hotel’s facilities.
Next to us, Kéa is soaking up to her shoulders, with her eyes closed and a blissed-out look on her face.
”This is pure paradise!”
Usually energetic, she seems completely relaxed in this moment.
Lifia gently sank into the hot water and snuggled close beside me.
Steam tinted her face a soft red, showing a charm completely different from her usual neat look.
”Hehe, it’s so warm…”
”How is it? Pretty good, right?”
”Yes, it feels so nice.”
She answered with a little blush.
Her adorable reaction made me feel at ease too.
I leaned back on the edge of the tub and looked at the vast snowy mountain scenery.
Clear blue sky and pure white snowfields.
The steam from the hot spring blurred everything a bit, creating an unreal beauty.
”This… this is luxury.”
I muttered that without thinking, and Kéa nodded big and wide.
”Exactly! I’ve never felt such a wonderful bath before!”
Lifia nodded too and softly whispered.
”Master, I am so happy.”
