We decided to take a break and go check out the heroes while we’re at it.
According to Tifi, they should be starting their exploration of the 3rd Floor around now.
Perfect timing.
The usual crew.
Me, the half-elf girl Lifia, and the knight Kéa.
Tifi’s busy with guild work.
”Alright Kéa, I’m counting on you.”
”Yes, sir!”
Kéa heads towards the Love Hotel’s door, her large chest bouncing with each step.
And when she opens it, we see the ‘False Plain’ of the dungeon’s 3rd Floor stretching out before us.
Kéa opens the door with a bright, cheerful expression.
She seems really happy to have been entrusted with the card key.
Come to think of it, Tifi said something when I gave it to her too.
That it’s like sharing the heroes’ power.
Only those with the card key can open the Love Hotel’s door.
And when you open it from the inside, it leads to the place where the person who opened it is registered.
The current registrations are Tifi on the surface, me and Lifia near the entrance to the 5th Floor, and Kéa on the 3rd Floor.
That means if we get Kéa to open the Love Hotel’s door, we can instantly move to the 3rd Floor.
For a normal adventurer, it would take days to get from the surface to the 3rd Floor.
Considering battles and exploration through the middle floors, it’s not uncommon to need even more time.
But we can skip that whole journey in an instant.
That’s another big advantage of the Love Hotel.
Plus, since we can take care of all our needs inside the Love Hotel, we don’t need any of the usual supplies like food, fuel, or camping gear that normal adventurers require.
We can handle continuous battles in the dungeon without a problem.
I wonder what the heroes are up to.
They should have plenty of supplies thanks to support from the castle.
They might even have a magic bag to store their stuff.
They’re probably advancing their exploration in comfort, using all these useful magic tools they’ve been given.
But even then, it shouldn’t compare to the Love Hotel.
While thinking about that, I kept searching for the heroes.
Hunt monsters, find treasure chests, and if I’m tired, take a break at the Love Hotel.
I’ve been doing this cycle for about an hour.
Lifia suddenly stops.
”Master, I found them. Over there, there’s a group of people who seem like heroes.”
Her Spirit Magic detection finally hit its target.
”What do they look like?”
I ask, and Lifia nods firmly, focusing.
”Let’s listen in. Mooluumve, Aisklar.”
She quietly chants the spell, and a wind of magic brings the heroes’ voices to us.
’…I’m about ready to turn back. This place is too much.’
’What? We can still go on. Even the Love Hotel guys are active here, right? We can definitely make it to the 4th floor.’
’Maybe he’s only able to go because he has good magic tools.’
’We’ve got gear supplied by the king, too, don’t we?’
’And our skills are proper combat ones, right?’
It seems they’re split on whether to go forward or turn back.
Voices advocating for the advance and voices counseling caution overlap.
’Yeah, that guy’s skills are all about the Love Hotel and ero stuff. There’s no way some dummy with skills like that can go and we can’t.’
’But are they really just ero skills?’
’Huh? Then what are they?’
’Something more useful… like what Hiiragi said.’

’No way that’s possible. Just try making a building as flashy as a Love Hotel. It’d stick out like a sore thumb.’

A woman’s voice cuts into the conversation.
’That girl with him had such beautiful hair and skin, like she uses Japanese shampoo or something.’
’She said she bought it at a shop in the capital, right?’
’It would take days to get it delivered all the way out here.’
’I’ve never even seen or heard of something like that in the capital.’
’Could it be… a skill?’
The words make the women buzz with excitement.
This is bad.
They figured out my skill’s potential.
’No way, but Love Hotels are basically for sexy skills, right?’
’Love Hotels even have shampoos and conditioners, don’t they?’

That’s a boy’s voice.
’Who cares about that?’
A girl’s voice, a bit more assertive.
Could it be that one of the girls has actually used a Love Hotel?
They were originally high school students, but…

This is so messy.
No, I can’t really say that since I bought Lifia.
’You said you bought it at a shop in the capital, but are that guy using his skills to get it?’
’If he has it, I need to get that from him.’
’If you find out, tighten the screws and get it out of them.’
’Why would you go through all that trouble…’
’It’s hard to believe there’s a skill that’s that overpowered.’
A boy sounds like he’s annoyed.
’It might not just be shampoos and stuff.’
’Since it’s a hotel, there could be room service.’
’…Wait, is there also food?’
’Of course there is!’
