His eyes were burning with intensity. It’s scary.
”Calm down. I may not like the kingdom, but I don’t want to trouble innocent citizens.”
”Ah… I am deeply moved by your mercy, my lord. Everything is as your heart desires!”
Rozmiaque kneeled, bowing deeply.
Anyway, I won’t cooperate with the conscription.
If that’s the case, before the official conscription order comes…
”Maybe we’ll have to make a run for it.”
”Looks like it.”
With the ‘Love Hotel’ skill, I won’t get caught. This is another dimension──no one can enter.
And my main base is the dungeon. Only we are there. The military and adventurers can’t reach the depths.
But not being able to walk freely outside… it’s more stressful than I thought. The air of the town, the street noise, the stars in the night sky. Losing those everyday sights is surprisingly tough.

Kéa puffed out her chest, smiling. She’s so reliable.
But… it feels a little off.
Last time, when I had her run full speed towards the ‘Shadow Forest,’ it was an emergency with the stampede. We were racing against time, and there were no other choices.
Now, it’s not that urgent.
I feel bad making her, a knight, run like a draft horse just for moving.
If I ask, Kéa will happily run for me.
But is that really a knight’s job? Will making her do this all the time damage her pride? I can’t help but worry about that.
I still need a better way to move.
Did I rush to give up Anval?
But wait, getting this information was only possible because I returned Anval. There’s no point in wishing for what I don’t have.
Speaking of which, I never even used the motel feature.
I didn’t expect to handle not just cars, but even horses.
If I had a motel, I guess I could keep the carriage in good shape, but I don’t have one.

Moving by carriage hurts more than exploring dungeons.

The rough ride of a carriage can’t really be fixed.
Maybe I should buy a horse again.
Then Kéa can ride it and run around──a proper knight’s thing.

”Yeah… I really want a flying airship…”
Wings that let you fly across the sky are so tempting.
I dream of free skies.
No more getting hurt by vibrations on the ride.
But of course, such things are not easy to get.
The cost is sky-high, and even if I get one, the upkeep, the piloting skills, the storage…
Problems everywhere.
Or maybe──
If my ‘Love Hotel’ skill works on a flying ship, could it even hold an airship?
If I store it inside the motel, maintenance and supplies could be all handled by the skill.
It’d make the best garage ever.
But… that’s probably impossible.
The motel is big enough to store a wagon easily, but an airship’s size would far exceed that.
Still, if it’s my ‘Love Hotel’…?
”Maybe that’s too much to ask…? Still, I want to check.”
”Check what?”
Lifia tilts her head cutely, looking up at me.
So adorable.
”I want to see if a vehicle bigger than the motel can fit inside.”
Even if a flying ship is out of reach, knowing the limits of my ‘Love Hotel’ is important.
Understanding what’s possible, what can be accepted──that could give more choices when I really need it.
”A big vehicle…?”
Lifia mumbles thoughtfully.
”The size that doesn’t fit inside… probably like the fancy carriage nobles use for ceremonies.”
Tifi adds seriously, clarifying.
”High-quality old carriages are expensive, so I wonder if you can even buy one.”
”I see…”
”Any vehicle will do?”
That’s when Kéa steps in with her opinion.
”A ship would be bigger, right?”
…A ship?
”Ah, I get it now. A ship, even a small fishing boat, would be way bigger than a wagon.”
Tifi nodded, looking satisfied, but Yomi tilted her head, looking confused.
”But… can a ship even fit into a garage? Do you lift it up?”
”With Master’s power, that should be possible, right?”
”If not, I can just pull it up myself!”
While they kept chatting, I was lost in thought, considering a new possibility.
A ship, huh.
