Volume 4 Chapter 78 New Sprout

On the bed, I held Korukona, the tanned girl with cat ears, close to me.
We faced each other, still tangled in warmth from earlier.
Her amber eyes shimmered faintly, reflecting the lingering traces of pain and confusion from what had just happened. Tiny beads of sweat glistened on her bronze-toned skin. Her chest gently rose and fell against mine, sharing our overlapping breaths.
”Come on… move already,” I whispered, running my fingers through her hair.
”Mmm… why…”
”It’s your way of saying thanks, right? Just… stay with me. Until I’m satisfied.”
”O-okay…”
Her voice was soft, barely above a murmur. Slowly, hesitantly, she shifted her hips. But—
A faint, wet sound broke the silence.
”Nhiii…”
Another one.
”Yaan…”
Even the slightest movement caused a reaction.
She tensed—her body trembling as though startled by every small sensation. Her soft voice slipped out, delicate and unguarded.
But it wasn’t enough. I could feel it—a need growing stronger inside me. I wanted more. To be closer. To feel her completely.
I wrapped my arms around her slender waist, pulling her against me. Her body pressed tightly to mine, and her heartbeat echoed through our contact.
”…Taro?”
Korukona looked up at me, confused.
I didn’t answer.
Instead, I moved.
A single, deep push.
”…!”
Her breath caught. Her eyes opened wide. Her mouth moved, but no sound came.
She froze—overwhelmed, as if the sudden surge of closeness had knocked her thoughts away. Her whole body stiffened, and a sheen of sweat trailed down her skin.
I lifted her slightly and guided her movement. Our rhythm started to form—slow, controlled.
”Ngh… ngh… ngh…”
Each motion drew another soft sound from her lips. She clung to me, legs trembling, as her body convulsed gently in response.
But I didn’t stop.
”N-No… not again…!”
Her voice cracked, weak and pleading.
I pulled her closer. Drove deeper. Our bodies fit together like matching pieces of a puzzle, locked in a primal rhythm.
She squirmed, twitched, eyes unfocused.
Her legs gave out—but I caught her.
Again and again, our shared warmth intensified, climbing toward a feverish peak.
”Ah… ah… ah…”
Her voice no longer carried meaning—just breath and feeling.
”…I’m coming.”
I whispered it without hesitation, pushing forward once more. Our bodies pressed tight. A wave surged through me.
”Ahh…!”
Her back arched, her form twisting in the haze of release.
She clung to me helplessly, her strength drained.
Her twitching cat ears flicked at my cheek. My gaze drifted to her tail, swaying gently with her ragged breaths.
A memory stirred—how she reacted when I touched it earlier. I couldn’t resist. I reached for it again, curious.
”Ah—!”
Her whole body jumped.
”Ta-Taro?!”
She was still trembling, but the moment I brushed her tail, she flinched. Her voice cracked again. She tried to pull away, but she was weak—unsteady.
With a soft pop, our connection slipped apart.
”Ah—!”
Even then, her body shuddered again as she fell back against the sheets. Her legs splayed open, and a trace of what we’d shared glistened faintly in the moonlight.
”You shouldn’t waste it… I just gave that to you.”
My tone was teasing, but the curiosity tugged harder at me.
Without waiting for her reply, I turned her over—gently placing her on her stomach, raising her hips.
”Y…a…”
A fragile voice escaped her lips.
I held her by the waist, fitting against her from behind. And then, once more—connection.
”Ah—!”
The sudden closeness caught her off guard, and her body reacted on instinct. She quivered all over.
With one hand, I held her tail again—softly.
”A-Ah!”
Her reaction was instant. Every touch of her tail caused her to tense, to tighten. I could feel her shiver each time.
The effect was undeniable. It stirred something in both of us.
I pressed her down, keeping her steady.
Our bodies moved together in rhythm once more.
The sound of skin meeting skin echoed through the room.
”Stop… meow!”
Her voice cracked. The tail again—when I gripped it, she gasped.
She bit the pillow, her body reacting helplessly to every touch.
”Hng… the tail… not there…!”
Her soft resistance only pushed me further. Her body trembled under me, eyes misty and wild.
Each movement matched the next. I was entranced. Every squeeze of her tail made her body respond in tandem.
It felt too perfect to stop.
”No, Taro! I can’t… again…!”
Her words crumbled into sobs, tears welling in the corners of her eyes.
And then, she arched again—convulsing, overwhelmed by sensation.
Her body tightened around me, drawing me in completely.
I couldn’t hold back anymore.
”Take it, Korukona!”
”Ahh… no more…!”
A final rush.
The room swayed. Heat overflowed between us.
She buried her face in the pillow, hips raised high. Her body convulsed as if caught in a wave, lost in the storm of emotion and pleasure.
I felt her grip me tightly, as though she didn’t want to let go—even as her strength faded.
Her breathing slowed. She remained face down, unmoving, lost in the haze.
I stayed inside her, listening to her heartbeat echo against the silence.
She lay there, her body limp, her mind adrift.
I had taken her completely. Every part of her.
But something stirred again. I could feel it.
”W-What? Again…?”
Her voice was small, almost disbelieving.
Her expression, flustered and overwhelmed, was enough to tell me—
This night wasn’t ending just yet.
* * *
”Ugh, you idiot! I hate you, Taro!”
Morning sunlight filtered gently through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room.
The first words out of the mouth of the cat-eared girl lying beside me on the love hotel bed were sharp and heated.
Korukona gave me a light slap on the shoulder.
She was clearly upset—understandably so, considering the night we shared. I had pushed her too far, made her tremble again and again.
”Sorry, sorry.”
I apologized with a sheepish laugh. Her cheeks puffed up adorably.
”Are you actually sorry?”
”I am, I am. But hey… it’s kind of your fault for being too cute.”
”Too… cute…”
Her face flushed bright red, but then her eyes widened in realization.
”Don’t think flattery’s gonna work on me!”
Despite the protest, her voice couldn’t hide the happiness woven into it. Her cat ears twitched with emotion, and her fluffy tail shyly curled around my leg.
Too easy.
As we exchanged playful banter, the door opened and Lifia and the others entered.
When they asked Korukona about her first time, she froze, her face going beet red. The others comforted her gently, scolding me with sharp glares.
Afterward, we all soaked in a warm morning bath, then gathered for a relaxed breakfast together.

Later that morning, I ran into Beckus and Nokiroul—the dwarf brothers—in the hotel lobby.
”A tanned girl?!”
”Taro, again with the new ladies?”
Those were their first reactions upon seeing Korukona.
”She’s got such a healthy glow. And wow, that tail’s so shiny!”
”Too much bust for me, honestly…”
”T-Taro… who are these people?”
The dwarf with a roguish grin leered at her without hesitation. The smaller one—who had a more, let’s say, specific taste—seemed wholly uninterested.
Korukona shrank behind me, her soft chest pressing against my back. I felt the contact more keenly than I should’ve.
She really was beautiful. Her golden-brown skin shimmered with a healthy tan, but the places hidden beneath her clothes—her chest, her thighs—were still pale as moonlight.
I was the only one who’d seen that contrast. That secret made me feel oddly proud.
”You’ve got a creepy look on your face,” Nokiroul muttered with a grimace.
Ah. Guess it showed.
Still, I hadn’t seen these two in a few days—even though we were all staying in the same hotel. What were they up to while we were dealing with pirates?
Beckus was a master blacksmith.
Nokiroul specialized in magic tools.
They handled all our weapons and gear. Right now, I had them analyzing whether the materials we got from that sea serpent could be forged into something useful.
And of course, when I found them again, both had faint flushes on their cheeks.
”We weren’t just drinking the whole time, you know.”
”Yeah. We were analyzing materials too. While drinking.”
So they were drinking after all.
”The booze here keeps flowing, sure,” Beckus said, scratching his head. “But it eats up our magic power fast.”
Thanks to my skill Love Hotel, we could summon high-quality alcohol via fridge or room service. But it wasn’t free—the cost was paid in magical energy.
Apparently, they had been researching while sipping drinks… and once their magic ran out, they passed out right where they sat. Then woke up, started again, and repeated the cycle.
A ridiculous lifestyle. But I couldn’t help smiling.
Even like this, they were absolute pros.
”So? Can the serpent materials be used?”
”Hell yes!” Beckus’s eyes sparkled. “Never seen one that big before. With this, we can forge a masterpiece!”
”If I can get free use of the magic stones,” Nokiroul added, “I’ll make a weapon worthy of legend.”
These guys were always reliable.
”That material alone’s great,” I said, “but I want you to prep others too. Not just from the fifth floor—we need to investigate the fourth as well.”
Though we’d started exploring the dungeon’s sixth floor, the dragons forced us into a hasty retreat. To push deeper, we needed better equipment—no doubt about it.
”I get the fifth floor,” Beckus said. “But why the fourth too?”
The fifth floor was largely uncharted territory, so its value was obvious. But even I had to wonder if the fourth floor was worth digging into.
Beckus chuckled, stroking his beard.
”Don’t forget. The fourth floor’s depths are only accessible to the best of the best adventurers.”
Nokiroul nodded.
”Even now, parts of it haven’t been explored at all. The materials from that place are rare—too rare to even study properly.”
That made sense. Even elite adventurers rarely set up camp past the third floor. Most just used the fourth as a corridor to reach the fifth.
It’s possible that deep within the fourth floor, there are still unknown monsters—unknown materials.
We had no idea what we might find. That meant we had to gather whatever we could.
”Got it.”
Looks like I had my work cut out for me.
While we spoke, Rozmiaque entered the lobby—from outside, not from one of the rooms.
He’d been out all night?
”Good morning, my lord,” he greeted me gracefully.
”Morning. You were out?”
”Yes. I was gathering information.”
Information? From where?
The hotel’s warp system connected to registered points outside—so “outside” could mean anywhere.
Rozmiaque continued, answering my unspoken question.
”I visited the Free City. As the hub of many rumors, it’s the best place for intelligence gathering. While there, I also looked into the Kingdom’s recent movements.”
I nodded.
The Free City of Latipak had been plagued by pirates—who turned out to be sanctioned privateers from the Kingdom of Nakuos.
That revelation had left me fuming. The Free City was a crucial trade port. If its relationship with the nearby kingdom deteriorated, it could destabilize the region’s entire political structure.
His report was more than justified.
”There, I heard something intriguing,” he said.
”What kind of something?”
”In the Free City… a new belief system is beginning to take root.”
