• M – A first-year student at District 13 High School and the childhood friend of Anonymous Student 0006, described as an atavistic strong-female who looks plain but possesses significant power.
• Mitsuki – Tall, curvy Shisei first-year and Koki’s sister, this private school student is Minoru’s assertive, tsundere childhood friend and an Onibara disciple. A close friend and ally to Manaka, she fights to avenge fallen comrades, leading physical battles—even throwing stone pillars—while managing logistics. She closely watches Minoru despite her outbursts, and is the lead candidate to become the assassin.
• S – A first-year student at District 13 High School who has taken B from North Middle into his squad.
• N – A student from East Middle with an eccentric personality who entered National High School due to complex family circumstances and used herself as leverage to negotiate a protective agreement for K.
• Chifumi – Minoru’s 15-year-old childhood friend, protector, and Majo companion is a scrawny, long-haired frost/water sorceress. Bubbly, supportive, and sharp-witted, she acts as his emotional support, scout, and communicator, managing group dynamics and defense with ice walls. Completely loyal to the point of self-sacrifice, her airy, friendly charm masks an observant nature caught in battle confusion.
• Yui – One of the Futami twins, Yuu’s sister, and Minoru’s childhood friend, she is a low-tension, observant private school student who survived a chuunibyou phase. Recognizable by short hair, a white lock, and pink/black attire, this blunt Onibara disciple uses knife techniques and curse arts in the Shisei group. She grants Clams permission to manifest and competes for Minoru, but was eaten by the Phantom.
• T – A first-year student at District 13 High School who has recruited K and N from East Middle into his group.
• Sawa – A voluptuous, bespectacled private school student and IT-savvy gamer, this original Shisei group member is a pragmatic, self-reliant childhood friend of Minoru. Acting as the group’s “detective” with deep insight into his behavior, she is a reserved Onibara disciple. While she enjoys fishing away from water, she remains a supportive ally who helps with chores.
• Minoru – A pragmatic, black-haired Tatemiya sorcerer reincarnated into a world of reversed beauty standards. Trapped in a dream state with lost memories of his sister Mai, this tactical dungeon master uses shock and creature-subjugation magic to lead a supernatural female squad. He balances intense dungeon training with complex harem dynamics, navigating possessive attachments to childhood friends and a dominant romance with Risa.
• B – A student originally from North Middle School who was added to S’s group.
• Ui – Minoru’s proactive, carefree childhood friend is Yui’s twin sister and an original Shisei group member. A social private school student, she sports a right-side white-dyed lock of hair. Known as an upbeat, high-tension ‘upper’ landmine-type girl, she uses cutesy slang and acts as a provocateur, maintaining close friendships with the original group while aggressively interacting with Minoru.
• A – A student from South Middle School described as an idol who has been recruited into R’s high school squad.
• R – A first-year student at District 13 High School who has successfully built a squad and added multiple girls, including M and A, into his group.
• Risa – A sharp-witted, dutiful, and tall Plain-folk who excels at domestic tasks, she is Minoru’s childhood friend and a member of his harem. Lacking inherent sorcery, this disciplined Onibara practitioner and Naruse family member uses a rifle and magic pistols. Deeply resentful of her biological mother, she provides a weapon-filled room for dungeon training and actively assists her squad on trips.
• Yurina – A refined, black-haired Plain-folk student and Kibe-born swordswoman in Minoru’s regular dungeon-clearing squad. A stoic, piano-talented childhood friend and protector close to Chifumi and Risa, she balances romantic and sexual encounters in Minoru’s harem. After wielding high-precision blades and being eaten by the Phantom, she emerges as a duplicate entity to guide him.
• Yuri – A cheerful and energetic first-year student at Higashi High who is a classmate of Shibuya and an acquaintance of Kibe Yurina from their middle school days. A girl known for being aggressive toward Hayato and displaying overt favoritism.
• Yuu – Energetic and bubbly, this Futami twin is Mai’s older sister, Yui’s younger sister, and a squad member known for her striped, high-leg swimsuit, love for meat, and nostalgic references. Supportive yet slightly aggressive, she often follows her sister’s lead in combat and personal interactions. After enthusiastically joining beach activities, she becomes one of the victims eaten by the Phantom.
• Tempura – A small, crayfish-sized Phantom with a shrimp-like appearance who resides in a water tank. Captured ten years ago, this sharp-tongued yet comedic oddity serves as Minoru’s loyal subordinate and offensive companion, firing destructive shockwaves as the core of his shock sorcery. Now acting as an instructor, they oversee the training of Clams and mentor newcomers on the team.
• Clams – A creature that resides in a water tank as a bivalve but can manifest in a humanoid form that resembles a traditional Japanese doll. He is affectionately called “Clam-chan” by the group.
• Clam – A newborn Phantom who evolved from a common clam after absorbing a stone. She appears as a toddler, displays limited communication skills, and is currently being educated by Tempura.
• Centipede – A former high-level Apparition currently reduced to a powerless, disembodied state. It speaks with a manipulative, merchant-like tone.
