Volume 3 Chapter 4 Takino Residence Visit
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
The group’s first sleepover was finally happening, and it felt only natural to begin at the home of our de facto leader, Chifumi.
Although I had stood in front of the Takino residence countless times, actually stepping inside was rare. Most of the time, any business between our families was handled right at the entrance. I had been as far as the living room before, but I had never once set foot inside Chifumi’s room. For that reason alone, I was genuinely looking forward to today.
We arrived before lunch, and Chifumi led me into the living room, where her parents were already waiting. Judging by their clothes and the travel bag tucked neatly into the corner, they were clearly preparing to leave.
”Once we’ve all had lunch together, we’ll be heading out,” her mother said cheerfully. “We’re taking your father with us, so don’t worry about a thing. The two of you will have the whole house to yourselves. Feel free to use it however you like.”
”……”
”Right, dear?”
”Ah… yes,” her father replied, lowering his eyes to his plate beneath his wife’s pointed stare. “Please make yourselves at home.”
It had to be complicated for him. The home he had built with his wife was effectively being handed over to his beloved daughter and the man she could never refuse. His wife, however, seemed to have accepted the situation completely. There was genuine warmth in her smile, almost as if she were celebrating her daughter’s happiness. Having experienced it herself, she probably understood exactly what Chifumi was feeling.
Her father already knew that Chifumi and I had crossed the line into a Majin and Majo relationship. From the Takino family’s perspective, my success with her should have been a reason to celebrate.
The relationship carried significance beyond strengthening sorcery. It was also tied directly to inheritance and the continuation of bloodlines.
A Strong-Male could only be born from a Majin and Majo pairing. Such unions produced Strong-Male and Strong-Female children in equal numbers, just as ordinary Plain-folk couples produced boys and girls at roughly the same ratio. Chifumi and Asari were examples of that pattern.
Any other combination could only produce a Strong-Female at best. A Majin and a Strong-Female, a Majin and a Plain-folk, or a Plain-folk and a Strong-Female could never produce a Strong-Male. Boys could still be born, but they would be ordinary, non-sorcerer children. Risa was one such example.
Being born a commoner in a family of sorcerers was probably not an easy life.
If both parents were Plain-folk, no sorcerer would normally be born at all. On rare occasions, however, the gift skipped a generation. If the grandparents had been sorcerers, a Strong-Female could still appear. Yurina was one such case.
To preserve a sorcerer lineage, proper adherence to the “Three-Limit” bloodline system was essential.
Chifumi’s parents had followed that rule, which was why Chifumi happened to be born a girl. Her father already had a Strong-Male son with another Majo, so her mother had never been particularly concerned about producing a boy. As a result, Chifumi grew up as an only child.
She did have a half-brother, though. He was attending a university in the Old Capital, and we rarely had any contact with him.
Personally, I felt nothing but gratitude toward her parents for raising such an adorable girl—one who matched my tastes almost perfectly. Naturally, I intended to build a future with her as well, so they had no reason to worry on that front.
While I was lost in those thoughts, Chifumi placed four plates of omurice on the table alongside individually portioned salads and desserts.
Her father’s expression immediately became complicated.
”This is… the first dish Chifumi ever made for me,” he murmured. “I see… she really has grown up.”
That was simply how fathers were when it came to their daughters.
In reality, I had been the one who requested the dish when she asked what I wanted to eat the previous day, but I lacked the heart to tell him that particular truth.
After lunch, her parents departed. Before leaving, her father gave me a firm pat on the shoulder and fixed me with an intensely serious look before following his wife out the door to stay at another woman’s home.
Once we had seen them off, we returned inside and shut the door behind us. The click of the lock echoed through the foyer.
The next twenty-four hours belonged entirely to us.
Later, after we wandered through the house together and eventually made our way upstairs, I finally found myself standing inside Chifumi’s room for the first time.
The room was tidy, exactly as I had expected, yet there was a faint scent unique to it.
A girl’s room.
As I glanced around, something resting on a shelf caught my eye.
An album.
”Hmm.”
”???”
”Hey, mind if I take a look at that?”
”Now? Mmm… sure~♡”
Chifumi handed it over, and we stretched out side by side on the bed while I opened it.
As she turned the pages, we drifted through years of memories.
”Little Minoru is so cute~♡”
”I was a pretty cheeky kid, wasn’t I? You were cute back then too, Chifumi.”
The pages in front of us covered our elementary school years, roughly the same period when I began recovering memories of my previous life.
It was fascinating to see photographs of myself smiling alongside Manaka and the others mixed with pictures where I seemed strangely distant. At the time, I thought I had been acting naturally, yet the photographs made it obvious that my discomfort had been visible all along.
The album also revealed how my inner circle shifted as the years passed.
In the earliest photographs, I was usually with Yui and Ui. Even though Yui had originally been the designated Strong-Female, Ui had been far more proactive despite supposedly having no direct connection to me. In those early years, the twins were the people I spent the most time with.
Then came Mitsuki.
As we grew older, I spent more and more time with her until it almost felt as though we were ordinary male friends. She possessed impressive physical ability, and we constantly challenged each other to races, games of tag, and anything else that let us compete. Back then, she was actually faster than I was.
After entering elementary school, I gradually became aware of the hierarchy among the initial Strong-Females. At the time, Manaka held the highest position in my priorities while Chifumi sat firmly at the bottom.
Then everything changed.
I recovered my memories.
Almost overnight, Chifumi jumped from last place to first. I worried that such a dramatic shift would seem unnatural, so I increased the amount of time I spent with Manaka, who happened to be close friends with Chifumi. Looking back, that was definitely my “Manaka and Chifumi” phase.
By the time I graduated elementary school and fully accepted the common sense of this world, I had come to a simple realization.
All of my childhood friends were cute.
Among them, however, the grown-up Manaka stood out as an exceptional beauty.
Once I entered junior high and we started playing games together, I also grew closer to Sawa. Before then, we had not interacted much. She preferred staying indoors and had a natural talent for anything related to IT. Because of her extremely heavy-set appearance, she had never ranked particularly high in my priorities, yet she turned out to be surprisingly knowledgeable. Once I learned to interact normally with larger girls, our friendship deepened considerably.
I wondered whether she was still spending her free time as a hardcore gamer.
It was around the same period that Yui and Ura started developing their strange personas. Looking back now, all of us were fumbling our way through adolescence.
A complete chuunibyo phase.
If I was being honest, it was the sort of dark history none of us would ever want brought up again.
When I started setting my sights on high school, I drastically changed my attitude toward everyone, and in return, their attitudes toward me turned cold. Specifically, after I subdued a certain paranormal entity, my relationship with Manaka started to get awkward. I unilaterally began to feel uncomfortable around her.
As a result, Chifumi was the only one who ended up coming to high school with me. That’s the reality I live in now.
”Looking at these photos, they really are all cute, aren’t they?” I remarked.
”They sure are, tee-hee!” Chifumi chirped, her tone bubbling with energy. “If you didn’t have such a… unique set of tastes, Minoru, they would have all been yours by now, yay!”
”A real waste,” I muttered.
I let the words tumble out, honest and unfiltered. Chifumi just watched me, a soft giggle escaping her lips.
”Well, thanks to that, I got to be the number one, right?” she teased.
I luxuriated in the sensation of her soft body pressed firmly against mine.
”Are you still in touch with Manaka and the others?” I asked.
”Yeah! Every now and then, I saw them a little while ago, actually, tee-hee!”
”What do you guys talk about?”
”Mostly what’s happening at Shisei, I guess. Sometimes your name comes up, too!”
”You aren’t saying anything weird, are you?”
”Who knows, maybe? Their reaction when I told them you’d brought Risa and the others into the group was hilarious!”
”Hilarious?”
”They sent me questions so fast! It just goes to show, they’re still worried about you, Minoru. You’re still their precious childhood friend, after all.♡ Aren’t you lucky?”
”…Is that so,” I replied.
Judging by the tone in Chifumi’s voice, I don’t think they hate me.
When I ran into Mitsuki the other day, she didn’t seem angry so much as… pouty. If even Mitsuki—who isn’t exactly great at playing the long game—is acting like that, maybe I don’t need to be so worked up about this after all.
”If you ask Mitsuki-chan for a favor regarding the villa, that’ll be your second debt, you know?” Chifumi warned.
”Two? What was the first one?”
”Where do you think that Shisei Academy uniform we used for our ‘fun time’ the other day came from?”
”…Don’t tell me…?”
Were those things theirs!?
”Oh, no, no, silly! I asked everyone to help me buy a new one. As much as I like you, getting something they’d actually worn would be a little too much, right?”
”G-good, yeah,” I breathed.
”Would you have preferred the used one?” she teased.
”Don’t be ridiculous,” I insisted.
If it had been used, guilt would have surely eclipsed the excitement. I shuddered to think that the items hidden in my dresser would have been rendered unusable forever.
Relieved, I pushed Chifumi onto her stomach and spread her legs. A quick touch through her silk panties confirmed she was already damp. She really has become sensitive lately.
”I’m coming in,” I murmured.
”Nn~~♡♡” she cooed.
I stripped off my trousers and climbed on top of her. Careful not to put too much weight on her, I pressed my length through her thin underwear into the seam of her bottom, teasing the entrance. We had all the time in the world today. I had decided we were going to enjoy some slow, languid s*x.
As I mounted her from behind, I buried my face in her hair, inhaling deeply. My half-erection flared into full-throttle intensity.
”Geez, Minoru, you’re such a pervert, aren’t you?” she giggled.
”It’s fine. It’s just us here. Keep it our little secret, okay?”
”Whatever you say, tee-hee!”
With a playful grin, I slid her underwear aside and slowly pushed inside. Fully connected, we turned the pages of the photo album together. My gaze happened to land on Manaka, and as I locked eyes with the photo while keeping my hips in motion, Chifumi’s cheeks puffed out in protest.
”Hey, wait a minute! I don’t mind being your m**urbation toy, but I’m not letting you get off thinking about Manaka-chan!”
”What about Mitsuki?”
”No way! If you’re going to get off, do it with me!”
”Look at me,” Chifumi commanded, pointing at my younger self in the photo.
”I know, I know. I’m only getting off with my cute Chifumi-chan, so come on, squeeze harder.”
”I wonder about that~~ You’re just saying that because you’re in a good mood.”
Despite her grumbling, she treated me to the exquisite sensation of a well-trained, intimate squeeze. The feeling of her wet, pliant flesh clinging to me was intoxicating. I kept my movements slow and steady, trying to draw out the pleasure for as long as I could.
While our lower halves were lost in an erotic dance under the futon, our upper halves remained perched above it, leafing through the album and reminiscing. It was a luxury only someone like Chifumi, who had shared every step of my childhood, could provide.
The next day, until Chifumi’s mother returned home, we spent the time alternating between lazy breaks and slow, rhythmic s*x. From her room to the living room, the bath, and even the entryway—we made love in every corner of the house, though the master bedroom remained untouchable. Even for us, there are lines you just don’t cross.
In the end, the visit to the Takino residence was a massive success. It served as a potent reminder of just how wonderful Chifumi truly is.
