Volume 8 Chapter 15 Freedungeon: Entertainment Town*
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
On the weekend following Golden Week, we headed back to Freedungeon.
Today’s dive was into “Entertainment Town”—the middle layer of the “Commercial District” we’d explored during the second semester of our first year. Commercial District had been an E-rank dungeon, but Entertainment Town was set at D-rank. Not that rank was the whole story—we’d already tackled D-rank dungeons like Sword-Hammer Cave’s shallow layers and Kinpira Palace’s outer temple area. Difficulty-wise, we should be fine.
Best of all, it was right in the middle of a shopping street. A nice change of pace—we could explore casually without too much hassle. Well, not that casually, but at least getting there was way less of a chore compared to Sword-Hammer Cave.
So here we were, ready to explore. But honestly? I might’ve misjudged the situation.
Great minds think alike, apparently. This was a famous dungeon in the 13th District—good location, easy access. Several groups that looked like they’d come from other districts were already waiting in the lobby. They were clearly older than us—more like college students on a trip than actual dungeon explorers. Their gear wasn’t anything special either. Probably the type who’d just enter and leave immediately—the kind who only wanted an entry certificate.
Apparently, collecting dungeon entry certificates like temple stamps1 had become trendy among certain sorcerers. Most of them were former Tower Dungeon climbers.
We put in our entry application and were told there were six groups ahead of us. Four of those were first-timers, so it’d take a while. Groups who’d already been inside didn’t need to wait for the cooldown period, but the Dungeon Manager wouldn’t flex the entry order for anyone. We waited over thirty minutes before our name was called, and we finally got in.
”Finally in…” someone said as we all let out a collective breath once we were inside.
”That took forever.”
On weekdays, we’d get priority entry for dungeon training. I never would’ve guessed we’d have to wait this long just to get in on a free weekend.
Normally, we’d do our final equipment check right before entering, but today there were multiple groups waiting behind us. We’d already done a basic readiness check in the lobby, so once we entered, we did the final confirmation in the safe zone near the entrance.
”That waiting area was so uncomfortable…” Asari muttered.
”They kept staring at us the whole time—literally gross.” Mitsuki’s voice carried a genuine edge of annoyance.
To the people in this world, our group looked undernourished. We were all thin, clearly not the type who’d be doing serious dungeon exploration—yet here we were, fully kitted out with actual gear. To outsiders, we must’ve looked contradictory as hell. Naturally, that drew their curiosity. I’d noticed the stares too, but I figured there was no point making a fuss. I ignored it.
But I decided to step in here.
”You two are cute, so it’s only natural you draw attention.”
”Wha—!?” They both spun around, eyes wide.
”Eh…!?”
”What’s with the faces?”
”…Minoru, did you eat something weird?”
”…(Nod nod)”
Rude. I can be considerate, you know. Setting aside my body type, my face was objectively good-looking. My words came from the heart.
”Minoru literally only likes plain bodies, doesn’t he?” Mitsuki grinned.
”Minoru-sama! I shall work hard to maintain my figure!” Yurina’s declaration carried the enthusiasm of a vanguard taking a new oath.
”Alright, alright, let’s save the talk about Minoru’s tastes for later~” Chifumi clapped her hands together, cutting through the loose atmosphere. “We’ve got exploration prep to do now.”
I really liked that about Chifumi—her ability to reign us in.
Once I confirmed everyone had switched back to serious mode, I summoned our shadows.
This time, two figures emerged from the darkness: Pape and Hinoki .
Pape was the former boss monster of Commercial District. They also had intel on Entertainment Town. Hinoki served as Pape’s translator.
Although not as famous as Commercial District, plenty of groups had explored Entertainment Town before. Information was widely available—the types and traits of the trash mobs, even boss monster data. We’d done our homework.
But Pape had given us some new intel: information on “back roads.”
Apparently, there were shortcut routes that let you skip floors instead of using the regular path. We weren’t in any rush to reach the deepest floors, so it wasn’t urgent, but the info could be useful for trading with other groups. We decided to try it out at least once.
”Tea house with a granny doll sittin’ out on the engawa.2 That’s the teleporter. Pay some Mana an’ it’ll move ya to the next floor. Where it shows up is random, though.”
”If it’s near the entrance, huge shortcut. Near the exit, you’re just burning Mana. More of a party trick than a real strategy, huh.”
”Yeah, reckon so.”
”Rather than hunting for it, we’ll just treat it as something to test if we happen to find it.”
We shared the information with everyone, and Hinoki and Pape retreated back into the shadows.
”Alright, let’s move.”
”””””Yes!”””””
Emerging from the back alley, we were greeted by the world of an evening arcade.
The shops lined both sides, just like Commercial District, but the types and ratios were subtly different. Snack bars and clubs—places that didn’t exist in Commercial District—were scattered around, while the greengrocers and fishmongers had their shutters half-closed.
The mobs were carryovers from Commercial District, just stronger versions. Rats and stray dogs were one thing, but alligators kept showing up in the arcade. On paper, that sounds like the apocalypse. …Which isn’t entirely wrong.
Starting on floor 21, the new mobs included snakes as patrol-types and thugs as ambush-types—basically souped-up versions of the rats and Yankees from before. The snakes used poison attacks, and the thugs came armed with knives. Occasionally, some had guns too. Not real bullets—they fired Magic Bullets created by sorcery.
Although Mana-based guarding was effective, a lucky critical hit to a vital spot could still deal massive damage. Fortunately, Asari’s Crystal Wall completely blocked the thugs’ gun attacks. On this floor, that was the attack we wanted to prioritize defending against.
The trash mobs in this world’s dungeons came at you with lethal intent. Even in mob fights, a moment of carelessness could be fatal. There were no continues, no save points. No mercy.
Still, combat itself wasn’t much of an issue. Exploration was going smoothly. We’d grown enough to handle a D-rank dungeon with room to spare.
We fought several rounds, shaking off the rust from fighting in arcade environments. Testing out Clam’s Illusion magic and area-of-effect sorcery along the way, we pushed deeper.
”Hey, isn’t that the shortcut?”
”Looks like it~”
It’d been about two hours since we started exploring when Mitsuki pointed with her golden club toward a mysterious tea house. From outside, we could see a granny doll sitting at the entrance.
”How do we pay the Mana, though?” Chifumi tilted her head.
”If you release Mana near the entrance…”
In this dungeon, every shop had an invisible wall at the boundary between street and storefront. Even open shops like greengrocers and butchers—where it looked like you could walk right in—were impossible to enter. This mysterious tea house was no exception. But when we released Mana at the part that corresponded to the shop’s entrance…
”Whoa. It actually worked.”
The invisible wall that had been there just moments before vanished. My outstretched hand crossed the shop’s boundary.
The doll made a beckoning gesture—”come here, come here.”
”…Orders?” Yurina, our vanguard, waited for my decision.
”We’re ignoring it for now. We’ve come pretty far, so the stairs to the next floor should be close. Let’s prioritize finding them. Once we spot the stairs, if we have time, we’ll come back and confirm if this really lets us skip floors.”
”Understood.” Yurina acknowledged with a sharp nod.
We searched the area according to my plan. After three more battles and a bit of walking, we spotted a sign in the middle of the arcade. The sign pointed toward a gap between shops. That was it—the stairs.
”This is the goal. We could move to the next floor now, but since we came all this way, I want to go back and try the alternate route. Everyone got enough energy left?”
”Yeah, I’m good~”
”No problem!”
Mitsuki, swinging her golden club around, along with Yurina, Risa, and Asari all looked like they had room to spare. I made the call to turn back. We fought twice more on the way and returned to the tea house.
The entrance was still open. The doll beckoned.
”Let’s go.”
”Yes.”
Yurina stepped inside. Nothing happened.
”Do we all have to go in?”
”Probably.”
So the remaining five of us stepped in too. The moment Risa—the last one—crossed the threshold, the doll suddenly stood up straight.
”!?”
I thought we were in for a fight. But no.
In an instant, the scenery warped like a funhouse mirror, and when we came to our senses, we were all standing in a back alley.
”Is this floor 22?”
”Think so… but we won’t know for sure ’til we step outside.”
”Yeah. Let’s call it a day.”
”Okay~”
We passed through the dungeon exit—a rippling Black Wall right next to us—and stepped out. Re-entry could wait for another time. Actually confirming the floor skip would have to wait.
The redemption counter’s queue number was suspiciously low compared to the number of entrants today. Seems like not many groups were going for deep dives.
Before leaving, I peeked into the waiting lobby. It was just as packed as when we’d been waiting. The Dungeon Managers were gonna have a rough day. Let’s get out of here.
I made a mental note: if we’re diving into this dungeon, stick to weekdays.
We stopped by that café on the way, had some tea together, then headed back to the Naruse family estate. Tonight, we were staying over—a special arrangement.
”Welcome back, y’all.”
”We’re home.”
At the gate of the Naruse family estate, Michiru-san—Risa’s biological mother—was sweeping in her serving uniform. She noticed us, smiled warmly, and greeted us. Her expression was completely different from when she’d been possessed by the Shadow the other day.
Since that incident, Michiru-san had apparently turned over a new leaf and started working at the Naruse family estate for real. We visited often for our daily dungeon runs, and I could definitely see her work getting more thorough with each visit.
Even after we’d talked at the arcade the other day, I hadn’t fully trusted her. But lately, I was starting to think that now that the Shadow was gone and she was back to normal, maybe it was okay to trust her. Maybe she wasn’t a bad person after all.
Risa had told me she was gradually getting closer to her mother too. I thought that was a good thing.
After a bath to wash away the sweat, we enjoyed a dinner prepared by Mama and Mother.
I’ve always known Mama’s a fantastic cook. Mom’s still in training, apparently learning the ropes from her. With Momono-san off to university and Risa staying long-term at my place, Mama’s the only one left at the Naruse family estate. The house feels too empty with just her rattling around—which is probably why those two have gotten unexpectedly close lately. Mama’s practically a saint.
After dinner, we retreat to Risa’s room for our… pleasure games.
Whenever I’m at the Naruse estate, our go-to scenario is, hands down, the maid-and-master play. The fact that we’ve got properly fitted serving outfits for everyone is top-tier commitment.
We’ve got a whole repertoire of situations. Favorites include the “lovey-dovey group maid service” with my childhood friend maids, and the “cruel lord’s trap” where a wicked master preys on a naive country girl who doesn’t know any better. Today, we’re breaking new ground: the “scumbag merchant from the empire buys the fallen princess’s entire royal guard for training” scenario.
Lately, I’ve noticed everyone’s getting faster at picking up the scenario setups.
Today’s main storyline: I’ll break each member of the princess’s noble-born guard one by one, then sink my fangs into the princess herself. While I step outside, they hash out the details among themselves.
When I re-enter the room, five of them line up in front of me as I sit on the edge of the bed. Each wears a miniskirt maid uniform that would make any maid purist have a conniption.
One by one, I toss them onto the mattress, weaving in a bit of acting before getting down to business.
Mitsuki goes first.
Big-bodied, she tries to play the shield for everyone else, all bluster about, “If you’re doing this, take me first!” But once I’ve got her on the bed and show her—through physical language—who’s stronger, and treat her like just another cute girl, she folds like wet paper. “Once you strip away that knightly armor, you’re just another female. From now on, handling my sexual needs is your job.” I make sure she understands the hierarchy with a thorough breeding.
”My strength belongs to my master now ♡” —and just like that, Mitsuki betrays her comrades without a second thought.
Next is Asari. The brains of the operation, she tries everything to snap Mitsuki back to her senses. But in the end, she too ends up pinned beneath the wicked master on the bed. If even Mitsuki couldn’t put up a fight, Asari never stood a chance—her weak points exposed in an instant.
”That brain of yours… from now on, you’ll use it for me.” I keep going until she’s nodding yes, riding wave after forced wave of climax until she’s sopping and broken.
”Ohhh♡ Aahhh♡♡ Uggghhh♡♡♡” Her head’s all floaty, her senses fried to mush.
”I just… couldn’t beat the c**k…♡” And just like that, she’s a little sow who’d do anything for me.
Next up, the pair: Risa and Yurina. Following Asari’s suggestion, we set up a hostage situation where the two of them—who care deeply for each other—are threatened simultaneously using each other as leverage. I press them together face-to-face on the futon, making them apologize to one another as I take them.
”Risa, I’m sorry,” Yurina murmurs.
”Yayyy… I’m the one who should be sorry,” Risa replied softly.
”I’m all… for master now…♡” Yurina’s voice trembles.
”Yeah♡ Let’s go together♡,” Risa agreed.
It’s like I’ve become the man caught between two yuri lovers. There’s something deeply satisfying about a scenario that grinds hope into dust and rewrites someone’s entire worldview.
Finally, Chifumi. Their leader. Even as she watches every last one of her subordinates fall, she refuses to give in. “Someday, the resistance will come,” she insists. “I’ll endure until then, alone if I have to.” She holds that line.
We force her onto all fours, Mitsuki and Asari gripping her arms. I mount her from behind. Even after I’ve pumped a load deep inside her, she doesn’t break—not yet.
That’s when Asari, still holding her arm, speaks up.
”Impressive as always, Captain. Your loyalty commands respect. But rather than breaking your will… it seems more efficient to take the princess’s heart first.”
”Asari?! You wouldn’t…!” Chifumi’s voice cracks.
”Oh, I absolutely would.”
Snap. The sound of fingers clicking. Then Risa, who’d been lying limp on the bed, slowly stirs.
”Where… am I?” Risa blinks groggily. Her eyes are red. Asunaro?
”Are you… my prince?” Risa—no, Asunaro—asks.
”Princess, no! This guy is—!” Chifumi shouts.
Chifumi tries to warn her from under Mitsuki’s hold, but Mitsuki claps a hand over her mouth.
”Whoa there. Chifumi, quiet,” Mitsuki says firmly.
With Chifumi silenced, Asari turns to Asunaro and explains.
”Princess, this is the man who rescued you,” Asari says with a respectful bow.
”Oh my, is that so? Thank you so very much. I’m deeply grateful,” Asunaro replies with elegant poise.
”Think nothing of it. I only did what was right.” I climb on top of Asunaro.
”Oh? O-oh my…?” She looks flustered.
”Princess, I apologize for the rush, but we must perform the rites immediately,” Asari urges.
”Rites?! …?! W-what in the world am I wearing…!!” Asunaro gasps.
She only now notices her vulnerable state, clutching at the sheets in a futile attempt to cover herself. Too late. I spread her legs without ceremony, slip inside—and she’s just another weak little p**sy. Barely any resistance. Gasps. Breaths coming in ragged.
”Hiii♡ Hiii♡ No, nooo♡” She pushes weakly against my chest—showing token resistance.
”What’s wrong, Princess?” I drag my tip across her weak spot like it’s nothing.
”Aahhh♡” Her arms go limp, and she looks up at me with that embarrassed expression. The acting’s actually pretty good.
”Th-this is♡… something you should only do with your future husband…♡” Asunaro protests weakly.
I stop moving. “You’re absolutely right.”
”Th-then…?♡” She looks up expectantly, her red eyes searching mine.
”I’ll protect you from now on.”
I start with a gentle kiss, then slide my tongue in, ravaging her mouth until it’s a wet, messy tangle of saliva. When I pull away, she’s drooling from the corner of her lips.
”Ah…♡ You really are… my prince♡♡” She’s in bliss, tentatively moving her hips on her own, accepting me, beginning to greedily pursue her own pleasure.
Behind her, Chifumi slumps—the perfect picture of a princess who’s fallen prey to a wicked merchant’s scheme. (All acting, of course.)
There’s something deeply satisfying about this kind of rise: some commoner with nothing but a big c**k and a talent for finding a woman’s weak spots, climbing his way up, breaking a whole noble girl squad, making them swear loyalty. The catharsis of the underdog’s ascension hits hard.
The main dish—the princess role—was Asunaro.
The scenario was actually pretty clever: one of the princess’s own guards turns out to be an alternate personality she created for self-defense. The princess herself, betrayed by her fallen knight persona, ends up losing to c**k anyway—proving she was the weakest of them all. A nice twist for the ending.
By the time I’ve fully dominated both princess’s heart and body and seized control of that noble bloodline—”My ambition begins now”—it’s nearly midnight. The scenario ran long today, but it never dragged. Some real drama to it.
Everyone’s tired, nodding off.
Quick shower. Brush teeth. Bed.
Today was a good day.

Trivia:
Minoru’s party has grown enough to handle D-rank dungeons comfortably, showing progression from earlier E-rank explorations.
The “entry certificate collection” trend mirrors Japanese temple stamp collecting (goshuin), popular among former Tower Dungeon climbers.
Pape speaks in Kansai-ben dialect, translated as Northern English working-class speech for warmth and humor.
The “beauty reversed” world concept means Minoru’s plain physique is considered unattractive by this world’s standards.
The Shadow incident with Michiru-san occurred in a previous arc—her recovery is a slow-burn trust storyline.
Clam’s Illusion magic and area-of-effect sorcery are party abilities being tested during this exploration.
The shortcut tea house mechanic is random—its location changes each time, making it unreliable for speedruns.
The Naruse family estate serves as the party’s home base for daily dungeon runs and overnight stays.
Dungeon Managers enforce strict entry order regardless of group experience, causing long weekend waits.
The arcade setting features snack bars and clubs absent from Commercial District, establishing distinct floor atmospheres.
Mama is the only resident of the Naruse family estate after Momono-san leaves for university and Risa moves in long-term.
The protagonist’s favorite scenarios include “lovey-dovey group maid service” and “cruel lord’s trap” variations.
Mitsuki’s strength is emphasized but she folds immediately when overpowered on the bed.
Asari is identified as the strategic “brains” of the operation among the guards.
Yurina and Risa’s mutual affection is exploited through hostage dynamics in their scenario.
Chifumi remains defiant even after being mounted and bred from behind.
Asari’s snap triggers the princess personality takeover of Risa.
Asunaro’s eyes turn red upon emerging as the princess persona.
The acting is noted as “actually pretty good” by the protagonist.
Chifumi receives the role of “princess who fell prey to wicked merchant” in the final act.
The scenario’s clever twist involves a guard being a self-defense alternate personality created by the princess.
The princess herself is revealed as the weakest of them all.
The protagonist seizes control of “noble bloodline” as his ambition begins.
The session concludes past midnight with everyone exhausted and nodding off.
The narrator perceives the experience as dramatically satisfying and a “good day.”
