Volume 9 Chapter 9 Onigashima Trip – Swimsuit Reveal Venue
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
After getting completely beaten by Chifumi, I finally made it to the beach.
She seemed incredibly offended that I’d reacted to Manaka—who was wearing a completely plain, ordinary swimsuit—instead of their erotically cute cosplay outfits.
To keep me from losing my balance while I carried everyone’s luggage—but still make sure I took proper damage—she hit me with a one-sided barrage of attacks on my shoulders and ass. Hits aimed where nobody on the outside could see. This was the true nature of the Yankee spirit buried deep in Chifumi’s core. As a Majin, I thought I had to forgive a Lead Majo’s occasional rough play with a big heart…
”Chifumi, don’t you think that’s enough? Minoru didn’t mean any—”
”Manaka-chan, I’d really appreciate it if you kept your mouth shut~!?” Chifumi’s smile was fixed in place, an imaginary vein bulging on her forehead as she shut Manaka down from above.
Risa and Yui shot me bitter looks from around where I was setting up the parasol. Those two agreed with Chifumi too—which meant there were only two people left who might actually take my side.
”Don’t look at me for help,” Sawa said flatly.
”I think Chifumi’s right,” Mitsuki added.
Sawa and Mitsuki had left me.
Times like this called for one thing: change the subject!
After finishing setup of the parasol and leisure sheets, I spotted some sunscreen in my bag. I pulled it out and made a loud, showy remark to myself.
”Ah, right. Speaking of which, I’d love to put some sunscreen on someone. Who should I pick~?”
The air among the surrounding Strong-Females—the Shoji group members—shifted instantly.
”Ah… yeah, okay. Me,” Risa said quickly.
”Wha—hey~!?” Yui protested.
”Sorry, Chifumi. I’m going first,” Risa said, quick to decide as always in these moments, as she stepped forward.
”Alright, lie down over there.”
”Okay~♡”
I dripped the cream onto Risa’s back and spread it around. Her legs, her arms—I gave everything a thorough rub. Getting carried away, I slipped my arms underneath her while she was still lying face-down and worked the cream into her stomach, her chest, even right down to her stiff little nubs. I could feel some of the looks around us turn cold, but I couldn’t afford to worry about that.
”Mm♡… ngh♡… mm♡…”
After having cream worked into every inch of her body, Risa was let go, twitching slightly.
”All done.”
”♡Ah… okay♡, thanks♡♡” Risa sat up with a breathy, warm sigh.
Before I could look around for who was next, Chifumi slid in.
”…Something to say~?” she asked sharply.
”No, nothing.”
It was a pain, sure, but I didn’t exactly hate this side of Chifumi either. The other girls started a round of rock-paper-scissors with expressions that said, “Well, if it’s Chifumi, I guess it can’t be helped.” They were apparently choosing the order.
I began working the cream into Chifumi’s full body.
In the end, the sunscreen went in the following order: Chifumi, Asari, Yurina, Miku, Megumi, Mitsuki. Manaka, Yui, and Yuu were left out—they hadn’t gotten instructions yet. Once everyone had been covered, beach volleyball kicked off at the shoreline.
During the putting it on, Chifumi had casually pressed my… excited son against her, which made her mood a lot better. She shot Manaka a winning look, and in reply, Manaka’s expression went completely blank. Needless to say, the beach volleyball match that followed was absolutely brutal.
The final match-up was Chifumi/Asari versus Manaka/Sawa.
I watched the four of them go at it—even using sorcery—while I worked cream into Mitsuki.
I’d actually finished putting it on a while ago, but I felt that if I became free, some other fight would break out. So I was on purpose dragging out the sunscreen to buy time.
”♡…♡”
Beneath me, Mitsuki had every last inch of her body—her groin, her armpits, all the small details—fully creamed and continuously stroked. She accepted my fingers slipping through the gaps in her T-shirt and hot pants, not complaining once, face buried and body sometimes twitching.
Oh, the match was about to end.
Manaka jumped high and spiked the ball from above—it blasted through Asari’s block and slipped past Chifumi’s fingertips as she dove sideways trying to catch it. The ball buried itself in the sand.
”Point is good. Manaka-san and Sawa-san’s team wins,” Yurina announced, acting as referee.
Chifumi, lying on the sand, hung her head in defeat. In contrast, Manaka swept her hair back with a winning, bright smile. She had the presence of a champion, but… man, she really was a show-off. She’d taken off her pareo earlier, which had only raised her pervert level even higher.
I handed out drinks from the cooler to the four tired competitors and praised their efforts.
Once things calmed down, everyone split up to enjoy the beach however they wanted.
Some dove straight into the sea, some started building sandcastles, some relaxed in the shade—all of them enjoying the summer beach in their own ways. Sawa, the only one not in a swimsuit, was covered in sweat and clearly drained. After swapping places with her under the parasol, I stood up and headed first toward the rocky area.
The shape of the rocks had changed since last year’s sea snake attack and the big fight that followed. I let out the Shrimp troops into a spot where the waves wouldn’t reach them. They burst out from my shadow and splashed into the sea, then lined up in front of me. They could stay here for today.
I had Hinoki translate my words for them. After the Shrimp troops waved their pincers in agreement, I left them there and walked back toward the shoreline where the others were.
”Hinoki, are you sure you’re okay following me? You could go do whatever you want.”
’Hang on—Uchi ain’t great with the ocean. I’m fine hangin’ out on the beach, but I don’t wanna be bathin’ in seawater all over. So yeah, I’ll stick with big bro,’ Hinoki replied in their usual Kansai drawl.
”Huh. …Wait, so what about Asunaro?”
’That’s what I’m worried about. I don’t think she likes it either—same as me. It’s kinda like a Centipede thing, y’know? But… now that she’s inside onee-chan, I figure she’s probably doin’ a lot better than before.’
I followed her gaze. Risa wasn’t at the water’s edge. She wasn’t on the beach either.
Which meant—I looked out at the ocean—there she was.
Risa, Yuu, and… Miku?
The three of them were swimming parallel to the shore, racing each other.
The first one to reach what seemed to be the finish line—where Megumi was standing—was Miku. Yuu came second, and Risa was last. I called out to Miku as she came out of the sea.
”Miku, you’re a good swimmer.”
”Thank you so much! I’m quite good at swimming~desuwan!” Miku beamed.
I’d half-expected her to be doing doggy paddle, but she surprised me with a beautiful, clean-form crawl. Her kick must have made a ton of push relative to her body weight. The way she cut through the waves was truly nice to watch.
”Minoru can swim too☆” Yuu called out.
”Come on, show us what that swimming club skill can do,” Risa added, pushing me on.
Fine. I’d show them what I was made of!
For round two, Yurina and I joined in. Five of us lined up in a straight line, heading out straight from the shore, and swam fifty meters parallel to the beach. Yui was the goal.
I placed myself on the farthest outward lane.
”On your marks, ready, go!” Megumi called out.
At her voice, we all started swimming at once.
I caught the wave perfectly to get a good start speed, then just kept swimming, swimming.
”…Goal.”
”Pwah!” I gasped, lifting my head.
When I looked around, I was clearly in first place. There was a gap of more than five meters between me and second-place Miku.
”Minoru-san, that was amazing~desuwan!” Miku exclaimed, holding onto me.
”Yeah, well.”
Leaving Miku stuck to me, I waited for Risa and the others to finish. Yurina was the slowest of the group.
”Minoru, give me a handicap! One more round!” Risa demanded.
”Fine.”
And so we did the same race over and over. In the end, we found out that with a handicap of nearly twenty meters, Risa could barely beat me. Among the girls here, there was only one person who could take me on in a fair, no-handicap serious race. But that one person never challenged me. She never would. Which let me walk around with all the confidence in the world.
Back on the beach, enjoying everyone’s praise, I was feeling pretty proud.
Maybe Chifumi wanted to knock me down a peg—because she made an offer.
”Alright then~, for the final round, you’ll be going up against the girls’ team secret weapon~” Chifumi announced.
”Secret weapon?”
”Manaka-chan and Asunaro-chan~” Chifumi said with a sly grin.
””!?”” The reaction came from me, Manaka, and Risa at the same time.
”Manaka-chan’s in the swimming club~. Please show Minoru what you’re really made of~” Chifumi pushed.
”Chifumi, I can’t do that,” Manaka replied calmly.
”Why not~?”
”I don’t swim in the ocean,” Manaka said firmly.
”I know that~ but~ you went in last year, didn’t you~?” Chifumi pressed.
Last year, Manaka had worn a proper swimsuit. Probably because she’d thought about the chance that Risa and the others might see through her “cover” and had chosen a safer way. Based on how things went last year, she’d likely figured it would be okay again this year and gone back to her more revealing look.
If going into the ocean makes clothing cover more difficult, that would explain why Manaka had never swum in the sea before.
”Manaka-san, please take the fight for us-wan!” Miku pleaded.
”Please!” Megumi added.
Miku and Megumi were cheering Manaka on too. The push was clearly building toward Manaka joining the next round. So, Manaka-san, what will you do?
”…Fine,” Manaka gave in.
Manaka took off her pareo, walked into the sea up to her knees, then launched herself into a diving form and went underwater in one smooth motion, keeping only her neck and head above the surface. She’d pulled it off nicely.
As for Asunaro—I looked at Risa—her eyes were red. She’d already switched to Asunaro.
”Asunaro, are you okay?” I asked.
”Mm. It’s my first time swimming in Risa’s body, but I’ll do my best,” Asunaro replied.
”Don’t push yourself.”
”I know, Prince,” she said with a soft smile.
Unlike Manaka, Asunaro walked slowly into the sea and started moving around in water shallow enough to stand in.
”Here we go~. On your marks~, ready~, go!” Chifumi called out.
At her voice, the three of us swam.
I had no plan of losing. I swam with everything I had toward the goal where Megumi stood.
When I lifted my head at the finish line and looked around, Manaka was swimming right next to me. The gap was less than a meter. It had been a close race. And Asunaro…
”Gurgle, glub glub…”
Near the starting line, she wasn’t so much swimming as struggling.
Yurina hurried to save her and got her safely back to shore. Everyone gathered around Asunaro, who was coughing up water. The expression on her face was one of complete shock.
”Hey, are you okay!?” I yelled.
”This is strange… I can’t swim… of all people…” she said in answer to Yurina’s question, clearly in shock.
Then she switched back to Risa.
”Seems like things didn’t go the way I expected. Don’t worry—I’ll be back to normal soon,” Risa said, moving to the shade to rest.
”…And now, results announcement~. The winner is Minoru~! Minoru takes the win~” Chifumi declared.
”Yay, yay. Thanks,” I said modestly.
Everyone clapped for me. Manaka was quietly mixed in among them. She’d already gotten out of the water before anyone could draw attention to her. Sharp as ever.
We played around, snacking and drinking, and before we knew it, evening was coming.
After fully enjoying the sea, we headed back to the villa.
A quick shower at the villa, then it was time to get dinner ready.
That said, Shizuku-san had taken care of most of it. While we were playing at the beach, she’d been steadily doing all the prep work, so there wasn’t much left for me to do. Manaka and Chifumi and the others handled the actual cooking—I basically just set the plates.
After we finished a dinner packed with meat, I drew the bath while the girls handled the dishes.
After dinner, we played games in the common room while taking turns in the bath, and fell asleep whenever we got tired. There was talk of spending some private time with the group, but since we’d gone out of our way to borrow the villa, I held back from actually doing it.
As a substitute, I’d been thinking of having a private Manaka-chan self-love session late at night, but Chifumi’s watching was too tight and I had to give up. The mistake was doing too much with the swimsuit teasing.
Ah well, no need to force it.
I crawled into my futon to sleep—but before that, I noticed Hinoki moving around by the window and called out to them.
”Hinoki, got a minute?”
’Yeah, big bro? What’s up?’ Hinoki asked.
”No dream invasions tonight, right?”
’You’re good. Nothin’ like what happened a year ago’s gonna happen, so don’t worry. If you’re still worried, I’ll keep watch for ya,’ Hinoki told me.
”You sure?”
’Uchi’s a Centipede-chan, after all. Nighttime’s my specialty,’ they replied with a wink in their tone.
”Then I’ll leave it to you. Good night.”
’Good night~’
I closed my eyes. I felt thoughts sinking away.

Summary:
The beach trip continues with sunscreen becoming a group activity, followed by swimming races where Minoru wins. Manaka shows she doesn’t want to swim in the ocean, and Asunaro fails badly in her first try to swim in Risa’s body, switching back to Risa in shock. The evening winds down with dinner and a late-night talk with Hinoki about stopping dream invasions, leaving Minoru to fall asleep with the promise of protection.
—
Trivia:
Hinoki uses Kansai-ben dialect with “Uchi” and typical phrases.
Chifumi’s Yankee spirit (past bad girl) shows in her aggressive behavior and wanting to own Minoru.
Manaka stays away from ocean swimming because her “cover” is harder to keep in water, explaining her absence from earlier beach activities.
Asunaro and Hinoki share a Centipede natural dislike for the ocean, though Hinoki handles it better than Asunaro.
The sea snake attack from last year physically changed the rock shapes, showing the lasting effect of past events.
The group uses sorcery during the beach volleyball final match, showing magic is easily part of their daily activities.
