Chapter 225 Dominator (Quester) Level 15

I ended up staying in Dominion for a while after that. Truthfully, I’d been champing at the bit to head back to Japan, but it felt wrong to disappear before the Empire’s next move became clear.
Still, it’s already been five days since Plan XX. I’ve got to replenish the rubber stock for Egard-san of the Holy City, and I really want to touch base in Japan sooner rather than later…
(If I’d known things were going to be this quiet for five days, I would’ve just hopped over to Japan immediately…) I muttered to myself.
The other thing weighing on my mind is Kanade-chan. I’m about ready to start making some serious moves toward her “Slave of Love” conversion. Lately, ever since she caught me and Millrose going at it in the grand bath, I’ve made a point of having s*x with someone whenever I’m near her room.
Apparently, Kanade-chan’s been pestering Lace Agate during her treatments, asking if Millrose and I are “in a relationship.”
”Just about every woman here is his lover,” Lace Agate had apparently told her with a shrug.
That seemed to throw Kanade-chan for a bit of a loop, but Lace followed up with a talk about how polygamy is just a standard part of the culture in this world. As for Kanade-chan herself, her injuries should be fully healed in a few days. Once she’s back on her feet, I’ll sit her down, give her the real rundown on Magical Girls and Dominion, and then officially recruit her.
(Man, when I list it all out like that, I’m actually pretty busy…)
In Japan, I’ve got to restock inventory, deliver those stamina enhancers to Motokuro-san, spend some quality time with Reika, and handle Ami-chan’s pursuers. Back here in the other world, I’m juggling intel on the Empire and the Kingdom, managing trade between the Republic and the Holy City, and orchestrating Kanade-chan’s descent into a Slave of Love. I guess that’s just a sign of how much the situation in Dominion has evolved.
”Hrmmm…” I groaned.
”What’s with the long face, Shou? You look unusually serious,” Ami-chan said, leaning in.
”Hey, I’ll have you know I’ve been plenty serious before this!” I shot back.
I’d been standing in front of the Great Phantasmal Soulstone for my morning routine, but I’d gotten so lost in thought that I’d stopped mid-operation, leaving the status window just hovering there.
”It’s just… I’ve got all this stuff on my plate, and I can’t help but wonder if I’m being too passive. Should I be making a move?” I asked.
Specifically, for the last five days, I’d done basically nothing but have s*x with everyone from sunup to sundown. Granted, the act is work. It’s how I power up the Magical Girls, and it keeps the Ego Points flowing in at a steady clip.
”It happens,” Ami-chan replied with a casual wave of her hand. “Right now, things are at a standstill. It’s hard to make a move on any of the nations, Japan included.”
She’s right. Until we see how the Empire reacts, it’s tough to map out a clear path forward. Up until now, I’ve always been the one driving the narrative. I guess having the initiative taken away from me just makes me feel… restless. Maybe it’s a testament to how proactive I’ve been. Though, in my case, if I don’t stay active, I’ll literally be dead in a month.
With a sigh, I went back to the floating window and began managing the territory. Five days of inactivity meant I finally had enough saved up for a level up.
”This is as good a spot as any. I’m bumping us up to Level 15. After this, I think I’ll focus on expanding the farm scale again,” I said.
”We definitely need to manifest more Uniques! I say go for it!” Ami-chan cheered.
With the farm at its current size, I can’t support any more Unique Individuals even if I summoned them. The farm’s infinite Resource Point loop is great, but manual expansion is a total pain. I really need to find a way to rake in Resource Points in one giant haul.
I tapped the screen and initiated the level up.

”Ami-chan…! Treasure Trove leveled up!” I exclaimed.
”Oh, let me see!” Ami-chan peered at the screen. “Hmmm… okay, I get it! It looks like you can store pretty much anything in the Treasure Trove now, as long as it’s something you can carry with both hands!”
”Vague as always, I see…” I muttered.
Still, moving from ‘one-handed’ to ‘two-handed’ is a massive upgrade. Utility aside, this definitely expands the list of what I can smuggle from Japan into this world.
”Next stop: a car! We need a car!” Ami-chan shouted.
”I think a car is still pushing it… and honestly, I don’t even know if that day will ever come,” I replied.
Ami-chan really has a thing for cars. Even if I could bring one over, the gas and maintenance alone would be a nightmare. Then again, maybe she just wants to scrap it for Resource Points. Whatever the case, I’ve got money to burn in Japan. I’ll try bringing back some bigger hauls and see what they’re worth.
”I want to expand the farm enough to support at least one more Unique Individual, but…” I started.
”If we do that, we’ll need to push out the residential perimeter again,” Ami-chan noted. “And we’ll need more maids to manage the crops!”
”Which means we have to figure out the moats and the walls for the new boundary…” I finished.
And all of that costs a mountain of Resource Points. While I’m at it, maybe I’ll just rebuild the whole mansion. I should probably upgrade the administrators’ quarters, too. A few of the captured knights have finally caved and agreed to work as maids; I might as well build a proper wing to house them all.
I swiped the window to pull up the underground dungeon feed. It was feeding time. As per usual, Alvia and the others had their backs arched and their faces buried in the latrine trench.
Total. Utter. Satisfaction.
”So, counting Alvia, we’ve got seven Livestock left…” I mused.
”They’ve made it this far without breaking,” Ami-chan said, her voice dropping. “Short of killing them, those seven aren’t going to submit to you no matter how much you humiliate them, Shou.”
She’s probably right. The knights whose spirits actually broke stopped being ‘Livestock’ a long time ago. As for Alvia’s group, I’ve already put them through the ringer. I’ve stripped them, used them in front of an audience, and forced them into multiple climaxes. I’ve trampled their dignity into the dirt, yet they remain as stubborn as ever. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with that kind of mental fortitude.
Well, whatever. The fact that I can use them however I want whenever I feel like it means my Ego Points are still climbing.
”Thinking back, we really did squeeze a lot of Ego Points out of them…” I said.
”Mm-hmm. They were great practice for you, Shou. But I think you’ve gotten a bit too used to them. You aren’t generating nearly as many points as you used to,” Ami-chan observed.
”Wait, really!?” I asked, surprised.
I was still getting points just by watching them like this, but apparently, the rate had throttled. I was still in the green, but the efficiency was tanking.
”Heh heh heh…” Ami-chan giggled darkly.
”…Okay, what kind of evil thought just crossed your mind?” I asked.
”Oh, stop it. You’re starting to know me too well, Shou!” she replied with a grin.
We’d been together a long time, after all. That laugh of hers definitely had a mean streak in it.
”It’s not ‘evil,’ per se. But think about it. The Empire is probably going to play it safe with you from now on, right?” Ami-chan asked.
”Yeah… Liliarette said that was the most likely outcome,” I agreed.
Subjugating the King of the Magic Labyrinth by force is a tall order. It makes more sense for them to play nice and keep me as an ally in case a Demon God pops up in their territory. Liliarette was betting on the Empire reaching that same conclusion.
”But the Empire is ambitious. They want to conquer the whole continent, and their neighbors know it. So, if the mighty Empire suddenly bows to the King of the Magic Labyrinth… or even just starts walking on eggshells around him… what do you think the other nations will do?” Ami-chan asked.
”They’d probably start wondering just how dangerous this ‘King’ really is…” I said.
”Exactly! Everyone is going to be dying for intel on the King of the Magic Labyrinth. But here’s the thing: almost nobody actually knows who you are,” Ami-chan pointed out.
I hadn’t exactly been seeking out the spotlight. Hell, the title “King of the Magic Labyrinth” only exists because of that mess with the Republic. Very few people have actually dealt with me in that capacity. Aside from Alvia’s group, there’s only Lambdaine-san from the Republic and the Listarte Faction of the Empire.
”So… what do you think happens if we drop Alvia back into the Kingdom?” Ami-chan asked, her eyes gleaming.
”……!? You want to… send Alvia back!?” I gasped.
She’s seen plenty here. She knows about the flying Magical Girls, Vectra-san, and Grantula. She’s seen me use my powers. She’s a woman who knows way too many secrets. And yet, she hasn’t seen the core of the operation. Since she hasn’t left that basement, she has no idea what the farm looks like, and she’s never seen the residential area. She doesn’t know the Great Phantasmal Soulstone exists. She doesn’t know the granddaughter of a Republic Council Member is living here. She knows Liliarette is alive, but they haven’t spoken a single word to each other…
If Alvia were to return to the Kingdom now…
”…W-what would actually happen?” I asked.
”Who knows?” Ami-chan replied airily.
”What do you mean ‘who knows’!?” I demanded.
”I can’t see the future, Shou! B-u-t… doesn’t it sound like it could be a total riot?” Ami-chan laughed.
I didn’t know the answer. But I knew every country on the map would be clawing at each other to get their hands on Alvia’s intel. They’d be looking for a way to use me against the Empire. Unlike Lambdaine-san, she’d actually lived inside the Demon Forest. As a prisoner of the King himself. Alvia’s return would be the spark that sets off a massive powder keg of chaos.
”Well, until the Empire makes a move, it’s all just talk anyway,” Ami-chan added.
”…I’ll mention the idea to Liliarette. See what she thinks about Alvia’s future,” I said.
Regardless of what we decided, for now, the ball was in their court. I just had to wait for them to play it.

• Egard – Guildmaster of the Ludo merchant guild in the Holy City Ragnarond. He has three beautiful wives. He is incredibly busy due to his exclusive connection with Lambdaine and the trade of Demon Forest produce. He is a self-proclaimed workaholic who gets drunk on his own busyness. Middle aged man.
• Millrose – Vice-commander level knight of the White Lily Knights. Ranked 1st most hated. Height 164cm, D-cup. Cream-colored hair in ringlets. High pride and well-trained body with faint abs.
• Kanade – A tall, model-figured C-cup girl with short hair and a bright, outgoing personality. She enjoys teasing her friends, especially Kiraurumi, about their love lives and body insecurities. She also secretly desires to be a shorter, cute girl. She also thinks she’s the most normal.
• Lace Agate – Magical girl Aris with elf-like long ears, 144 cm tall, A-cup, and a white-and-blue theme. She wears a leotard-style outfit with an open-front skirt cloth. Her pale blue hair has long bangs covering her left eye, shoulder-length back, blue highlights, and a ribboned braid on the right side.
• Motokuro – The current head of the Miyakuji family and an Ancient Object Dealer. He has significant influence that even the police cannot ignore.
• Reika – A beautiful high school kendo student who is engaged to ‘The Handsome’ for what seems like familial or arranged reasons. She is a ‘guarded’ beauty. Sha has long black hair, intense eyes, and wearing kendo uniform.
• Ami – A palm-sized fairy-like being from a world separate from both Earth and the isekai realm. She has light blue hair tied in a ponytail, mischievous blue eyes, and tiny wings that flutter behind her. Her outfit consists of a provocative high-cut leotard and a short jacket that looks like a miniskirt from the back, leaving her legs bare. Despite her playful appearance, she is actively searching for a contractor who can protect her from dangerous pursuers in exchange for the powers she offers.
• Alvia – A Captain in the White Lily Knights, a private military force loyal only to Princess Viorga. A blonde woman with long, slightly frizzy hair that flicks out in places. She has a height of 171cm and an E-cup bust size. She possesses a muscular build with visible abdominal muscles and sturdy upper arms.
• Liliarette – The other Princess, who sacrificed her ability to walk and her sorcery talent to save her sister, Cleonora. She is imprisoned in the East Tower and is being used as a political and monetary pawn by Viorga. C-cup, true golden hair, waist-length hair, the fringe was a slightly blunt, hair on her left side was braided to the chest.
• Lambdaine – A powerful Councilor of the Shital Republic and a successful merchant who built his fortune from nothing. He is the grandfather of Iris and Aris.
• Listarte – Judiette’s younger half-sister. A fox beastman sorceress and the only Imperial citizen capable of riding the Skygoon. Have long dark hair. Wearing ornate Imperial princess robes with gold trim. A cup.

• Grantula – A Unique Individual in the form of a giant mechanical spider. It has metallic parts and serves as the guardian of the Dominion’s periphery.
