I hadn’t expected her to take the lead from the very first move, asserting her dominance in that riding position, but I managed to reclaim control.
Though I had hesitated at the start, I eventually transitioned us into a rear-facing position and saw the encounter through to its conclusion.
It was an exquisite sensation. The way her body twitched and pulsed in the aftermath was undeniably provocative.
I felt certain that a substantial amount of Ego Point¹ had been charged through this act.
Reika, having received my internal release, seemed to be savouring the lingering waves of her climax.
She sat there, legs parted in a crouch, using her fingers to clear away the remains of my presence. It was, quite frankly, a sight of pure decadence.
”Hmm… ah… so much… it’s coming out…” she murmured.
”Well… you were just so cute, Reika… I couldn’t help myself,” I replied.
”…I see. If I was able to satisfy Shoichi, then I am glad, wa,” Reika said.
She looked up at me from her crouched position and offered a soft, enchanting smile.
Heavens, she was adorable.
”You both did marvelously! Reika’s counter has already climbed to seventy; the conditions are perfectly met, ne!” Ami-chan exclaimed.
”Counter…?”
Reika looked puzzled. I assumed she was referring to the Affection Level².
To think it had reached seventy after only a single encounter!
It had started at thirty, of course. It seemed that as long as there was no pre-existing ill will, raising one’s standing during such intimacy was a straightforward affair.
”Reika. Are you alright? Physically, I mean?” I asked.
”Yes. It still feels as though a part of you is inside me, though…”
With those words, she stood and began to pull on her white undergarments.
Watching a girl in her school uniform dress herself in such a manner felt strangely illicit, perhaps because it was a first for me.
I knew my traces were still within her; they would surely leave their mark upon her clothes.
”Now then, Shou!” Ami-chan prompted.
”Right. Reika… once more. Become a Magical Girl³ for me.”
”I understand,” Reika replied.
It was done. The covenant of the Magical Girl was sealed. All that remained was the luck of the class draw.
”This is…!? It’s incredible, I can truly feel the power…!”
”It seems you can perceive it! Well then, try transforming at once!”
”Understood! …Seleto Stai Resuito! Orb of the Sky, grant me strength!”
The transformation sequence began, familiar yet dazzling, as particles of light erupted around her. When the glow faded, a Magical Girl stood in her place, bearing almost no resemblance to the Reika I knew.

”The cool clarity of the sky be yours! Magical Girl, Ice-Killing Celestite⁴!”
”So cuuuute! Truly a killer Magical Girl I can be proud of!” Ami-chan squealed.
Celestite wore an outfit composed of white and sky-blue hues—a colour more akin to the heavens than a simple water-blue.
The attire was a high-leg leotard style, much like Sardonyx-chan⁵, paired with charming knee-high socks and gloves.
However, unlike Sardonyx, she wore a flowing cape.
Her hair had turned a brilliant sky-blue with streaks of white, styled into a tidy, inner-curl bob that emphasized her loveliness.
”Shou! Hurry, hurry!”
”Yes. As the Dominator⁶ and Quester⁷, I bestow a class upon thee…!”
I immediately performed the class bestowal and focused my gaze to inspect her status.

I saw. In essence, Emerald was a rearguard, Sardonyx filled the middle, and Celestite was a pure vanguard.
I also noticed that I could now see the height and bust measurements of the Magical Girls. Perhaps this was a result of my rising level as a Quester.
”How do you feel with your new power, Celestite?” Ami-chan asked.
”Yes…! I instinctively know how to use it…! With this, I truly feel I can face the approaching monsters!”
”That might be a bit premature. But I have very high hopes for what’s to come!”
What truly struck me was Celestite’s weapon. It was a katana—a rather unique choice for a Magical Girl.
But then, the Magical Girls already possessed their own inherent strength; my class bestowal simply gave that power a direction. Their growth depended entirely on the path I provided.
”We can discuss the details of the power and those monsters when we have more time. For now, let’s break out of this space!” Ami-chan declared.
”Break it? How?”
”Their power and ours repel each other. Like the same poles of a magnet? They are fundamentally opposite. Use that blade and strike any point you like with your full Magic Power!”
”That’s a bit vague…”
Despite the blunt explanation, Celestite seemed to understand. She drew her sword and took a deep breath, settling into a stance.
Her movements were poised and utterly cool. She looked like a master who had spent years perfecting this single form.
There was something undeniably captivating about a petite, cute girl wielding such a lethal weapon.
”Once you create a rift in this isolated space, I’ll handle the rest! We’ll likely emerge right in front of that thing, so Shou, you finish it!”
”Un… understood.”
The blade in Celestite’s hand began to glow with a pale blue light. I felt the temperature in the air drop several degrees.
”…Here I go. Haaaaaaaaaaaa! Muryo Reppazan⁹!”
With a motion of breathtaking beauty, she swung the blade.
The surrounding space shimmered and warped, and for a moment, a vortex of light particles swirled around us.
”Perfect! Now if I just do this… and that… right, release!”
Vision twisted sickeningly for a few seconds before the space shattered with a sound like breaking glass.
We were back. The mantis-like alien was frozen in mid-air, caught in the very moment it had leaped from the river.
’Na…’
I thrust out my right arm and instantly invoked Water Splendor Flash¹⁰. Just as I had with the previous monster, I swept my arm from left to right.
The creature was bisected at the torso without mercy. Its divided remains dissolved into shimmering particles and vanished.
”Ya…”
”We did it! A total victory!”
”…! Amazing…! We… we won…!”
To the mantis alien, only a few seconds must have passed. It likely thought it had us trapped, only for us to reappear and strike it down instantly.
I looked beside me to find that the transformation had ended; Celestite was gone, and Reika had returned to her normal self.
The difference in height and build was quite the contrast.
”Was I of any use…?” she asked softly.
”Yes! You were a huge help…!”
”Truly, ne! It was quite a close call this time. We’re lucky you were here, Reika!”
I was genuinely pleased to have gained a new ally, not to mention another girl I could be intimate with.
In this world, methods for restoring Ego Points and my own lifespan were quite limited, so this was a welcome development.
After expressing my gratitude again, we exchanged contact information.
It occurred to me that this was the first time I had ever had a girl’s number in my phone. It made me… well, quite happy.
”So… how should I serve you from now on…? Now that I have this power, I wish to be of use in more than just this instance…”
”Well…”
”Hmm, Reika’s power is strong, but using her full strength drains her Magic Power so much she reverts immediately. She’ll need to build up her magical foundations first!” Ami-chan explained.
”Yes, I would like that,” Reika agreed.
Of course, the method for raising that power involved more of what we had just done, but I kept that to myself for now.
”I would like to hear more about the circumstances, though…”
”Right! Then come to Shou’s workplace in five days, on Saturday! We can talk there!”
That seemed quite far off. I wouldn’t have minded talking in my room right then.
Reika seemed to share that sentiment.
”I wouldn’t mind doing it now…?”
”Non-non. Reika, you’re a lady, right? Don’t you have a strict curfew?”
”I wonder… my family isn’t quite that restrictive, but…”
”Is that so? But if a man like Shou is seen with a girl in a school uniform late at night, it’ll cause a police stir. In our position, we can’t afford to stand out, yo. Right, Shou?”
Ugh… she had a point.
Ami-chan was right. If we walked even a short distance, security cameras would capture me leading a uniformed girl toward my home.
”…I see. I don’t mind personally, but I don’t want to cause trouble for Shoichi and the others.”
”Exactly. And you have classes, right? So, Saturday! If you’re free, let’s meet then!”
”Understood. But if those monsters attack again…?”
”You’ll be fine! I’m the one they’re after, ne. I’ll make sure to stay out of sight for a while.”
”…If you say so. Let me know if you’re ever in a pinch.”
We parted ways with Lady Reika there.
After everything that had happened, I was exhausted, but I felt a profound sense of fulfillment as I made my way home.
