Chapter 9 Frontier Settlement Day Three꞉ The Man Who Learned That Thrusting Hips Takes Surprising Stamina

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

It had been thirteen days since Ami-chan first used Sun Color’s Eye of Fate on me, and today, once again, she saw nothing.

”Ugh… well, fate’s a capricious thing, you know? It’s just woven by whims! This kind of thing happens, I’m sure!” Ami-chan tried to sound bright.

”That doesn’t help me, though!” I fretted.

Ugh… that left me with roughly two more weeks of life.

I’d never, not once, experienced a clear, definite death approaching this close. That much was obvious.

”Now, now. Just as planned, if we check tomorrow and still see no change, we’ll start thinking about that trip back to Japan, okay?” Ami-chan soothed.

”That whole plan has its own ridiculously high hurdles, though…” I muttered under my breath.

Even with the strong sense of crisis about my vanishing lifespan, the days since I arrived here had actually been pretty fulfilling.

My Dominion was neatly leveled and cleared now, and we’d dug a moat and put up a fence to guard against external threats.

What’s more, I’d found a river and some fruit-bearing trees just outside the territory. I’ve had Aion bring back those fruits and water every day, converting them into Resource Points.

Incidentally, we’d been attacked by a demon monster once. Having absolutely no way to fight it, we fled into the Great Phantasmal Soulstone chamber and just waited for the thing to leave. When the storm passed and we emerged, the shack had been completely destroyed.

So, the hut we had now was actually our second one. Sigh… I really wish I had some combat power, you know?

(But hey… starting a settlement from scratch like this… it’s actually kind of fun, maybe?)

Right now, we only had the hut and the fence, nothing else. But the thought of eventually developing it into a proper, respectable place where I could live with Maids and Magical Girls—that definitely got me fired up!

Plus, having food, clothing, and shelter secured without any financial strain was a huge mental relief. It had been years since I could truly relax and stretch out… wait, no, I couldn’t relax. I was still right in the middle of a danger zone.

I washed my face and headed over to the Great Phantasmal Soulstone chamber, opening the window. Checking the status of the Dominion was my morning routine.

”Whoa… more stuff has popped up again…” I observed.

”Mhm, mhm. Everything’s going smoothly!” Ami-chan beamed.

Now, I could create a decent-sized wooden house. I could also make a new stone shack, too.

”In the last few days, Shou’s gotten pretty good at thrusting, too! The Dominion and Shou are both growing, and I’m so proud!” Ami-chan chirped playfully.

 ”W-well… yeah…” I mumbled.

I was a man, after all. If I didn’t relieve myself for a few days, the s*xual tension became incredible. So, for the last few nights, I’d been letting off steam with Aion’s cooperation.

Specifically, I had Aion get onto the bed on all fours, and we practiced doggy style—ussu.

Even though she didn’t actually have an opening, the visual of genuinely having s*x was incredibly exciting, and I got intensely worked up.

Aion, when she took off her clothes, really did have a woman’s body. Her large butt was obscenely s*xy.

Just the act of grabbing her narrow waist and thrusting my hips was enough to make my eyes bloodshot with excitement.

By the way, it was Ami-chan who’d suggested we practice doggy style. She clearly had an intense, personal obsession with the rear-entry position, so we hadn’t been able to practice any other positions up until today.

As I recalled those nightly sessions, my eyes fell upon something interesting in the list of creatable items on the window.

 ”Hey… Ami-chan. What’s this…?” I inquired.

 ”Hmmmm~…?” she hummed.

 It read:

[Dominator Skill • Suireisen (Water Splendor Flash) Uses: 1]

”It says Dominator Skill, but…” I began.

”What is this? Usually, Dominator Skills are acquired as your Quester Level increases, you know?” she wondered aloud.

”Really? But this one can obviously be purchased with Resource Points, right?”

I mean, it was in the creatable list. And wait, there was actually something Ami-chan didn’t know?

”Let me look into it a little. Hmm, let’s see… aha, aha…”

Ami-chan looked at the window for a while, then quickly turned back to me.

”I got it. Simply put, it’s a super-high-pressure water beam!” she declared.

”Seriously, what is that?!” I gasped.

”It’s probably because you’ve been converting so much water into Resource Points every day,” she mused.

Apparently, by creating this skill, I’d be able to fire a water pistol that could blast through anything with sheer water pressure.

”That’s amazing! It’s like magic! I absolutely have to try it!” My excitement surged.

”But its uses are limited. Once you use it, you can’t use it again until you create it anew,” she cautioned.

And creating it again meant consuming more Resource Points. The cost wasn’t cheap, but I knew I had to create it anyway.

It might even work against the demon monsters, and besides, the skill name sounded cool! I wanted to use magic!

 ”So, I’m creating it.”

The text for the skill name on the creatable list turned gray. I probably wouldn’t be able to make it again until I activated it.

”To activate it, all you have to do is chant the skill name, okay?” she instructed.

”Got it. I’ll use it right—”

”Don’t waste the points!” she snapped.

Aww. Ami-chan stopped me.

”But I wonder if other skills can be created like this, too…” I pondered.

”There’s a high possibility of that,” she agreed.

”But wait, how come there are skills you don’t even know about, Ami-chan? It’s your power, right?”

I gained the power of the Dominator through my contract with her. You could easily say it was Ami-chan’s power. Yet, she didn’t know about this skill called Suireisen.

”Well, what a Dominator can create changes hugely depending on the person they contract with, you see~” she explained.

 ”Is that so…?” I mused.

”Yup. With you, Shou, you’ll probably be able to make things like bicycles or gas stoves before long. Oh, and various costumes for nighttime activities, too!” she added mischievously.

 ”……Guh!” I swallowed hard.

No way… I could create even those sorts of luxury items… or rather, pleasure items?! Amazing, the possibilities were truly endless!

I absolutely had to survive! And I had to keep developing this place!

In my mind’s eye, I saw Magical Girls in revealing swimsuits splashing around in a night pool located on the top floor of a skyscraper.

Good. This was absolutely wonderful. The torrent of my desire couldn’t be stopped.

”Mhm, mhm. I sense a wonderfully vulgar and high-quality desire! By the way, at this rate, it looks like we’ll be able to expand the Dominion to the next stage as early as tomorrow!” she noted, shifting back to business.

 ”Huh? Seriously?” I asked.

”It’s because you’ve accumulated that many Resource Points. If you hadn’t purchased that skill, we’d have been ready right after noon, though…” she explained casually.

Hmm… I remembered that I could expand the Dominion and raise my Dominator Level by spending a certain amount of Resource Points.

A larger Dominion would allow for more efficient resource conversion. Plus, if I could start planting crops, I might be able to create a closed loop for Resource Points within the territory.

According to Ami-chan, the quality of creatable items improved with my Dominator Level… so prioritizing Dominion expansion was definitely the way to go.

”Alright, let’s head out today and collect more stuff we can convert into resources,” I declared.

”Good idea! I’ll tell Aion to keep bringing in the nuts and water again!” she confirmed.

In the last few days, almost everything that could be converted within the small Dominion had been used up. That’s why I had to go outside the territory.

But I didn’t know where the demon monsters were lurking. So, I always made sure Ami-chan was keeping watch outside the territory, ready to flee back to the base the moment a monster was spotted.

 ”Let’s try heading west today.”

If I hadn’t misjudged the directions, the country I’d been summoned from was west of here. That was why I’d subconsciously put off searching that area.

Just as it looked from above, this area was basically all forest. There were no roads, and some places were so overgrown with vegetation that they were impassable.

I cautiously advanced, cutting the long grasses with my knife.

”Sigh… If this were inside the Dominion, I wouldn’t hesitate to just chop down these trees…” I lamented.

”You can’t sacrifice them for resources here, though~” Ami-chan reminded me.

That was true. That’s why I had to ask Aion to gather the berries and fruits whenever I found them.

”If I could get greedy, I’d want to start converting the demon monsters into Resource Points soon, you know?” she chirped.

”I wish I could, too, but even if I managed to kill a demon monster that big, I couldn’t drag it back into the Dominion,” I explained the logistics.

”Aion could probably haul it for you, even if it took her a while,” Ami-chan replied confidently.

 ”Really?” I was shocked.

That was my tireless Maid for you. Hmm… if I had a little more cash (Resource Points) to spare, I’d create a combat-capable Maid, too…

”Oh. Shou, there’s a river,” she noted.

 ”You’re right.” I confirmed.

”And wait. It opens up into a lake up ahead.”

 ”A lake?!” I was astonished.

I couldn’t believe a lake was located just a short distance west of the base. If I could fish, I could convert the fish into Resource Points… and honestly, I just really wanted to eat some fish.

”That’s great. Maybe I should strip down and wash off…?” I wondered.

”You wash up every day already,” she pointed out.

”I know, but I really want to submerge my whole body, you know?”

”A lake isn’t a bathtub, you realize?” she teased.

 ”I know, I know.” I sighed.

Thinking about it, back when I lived in that 1K apartment, I always just took a shower. I hadn’t taken a proper bath with a tub full of hot water in years.

In any case, I wanted to check out the lake. With any luck, I’d get to eat fish. Just as that thought crossed my mind, something happened.

 ”Huh…?” Ami-chan sounded puzzled.

”Hmm? What’s wrong, Ami-chan? Your Eye of Fate is active, by the way,” I pointed out.

Ami-chan’s eyes were suddenly glowing the color of the sun. I wondered what was up.

”I suddenly saw a Fate Bifurcation Point for you, Shou,” she whispered, sounding serious.

”A Fate Bifurcation Point?! What’s that?!” I demanded.

”I don’t know, but… it looks like if you go to the lake, something is definitely going to happen,” she stated with certainty.

”To the lake…?” I questioned the destination.

What did that even mean? Well, I was planning to go there anyway.

 ”I can’t imagine there’s a person out here in this forest…” I mused.

”It doesn’t have to be a person. I can’t tell what kind of fate awaits, either. It might be a terrifying demon monster, or maybe you’ll discover something rare. Whether you live or die is a complete unknown,” she warned.

”But if I go there, something is definitely going to happen…” I affirmed the core fact.

If I were scared, or satisfied with my current life, there wouldn’t be any need to purposely head toward such a Fate Bifurcation Point.

But I was a man on a deadline; I was going to die soon. And if I didn’t take action myself, I’d never seize the future that was just starting to open up for me.

 ”…Let’s go.” I decided.

”Oh! Are you sure about that?” she asked, pleased.

”Yeah. Besides, I’m curious about what could be waiting for me in the middle of a forest like this,” I admitted.

And so, I started walking toward the lake.

 Summary:

Shou’s lifespan shrinks to two weeks, but he finds purpose in building his Dominion settlement. After getting his s*xual release with Aion (doggy style only, thanks to Ami-chan’s preference) and converting many resources, he unlocks the powerful Dominator Skill ‘Suireisen.’

Just as he prepares to explore the mysterious west side of the forest, Ami-chan’s Eye of Fate spots a critical Fate Bifurcation Point near a newly discovered lake. Driven by his short lifespan and the desire to build a life full of Magical Girls and night pools, Shou bravely heads toward the unknown event, setting the stage for a major discovery.

 —

 Character Insight:

Shou’s character is defined by a deep-seated survival instinct that’s now completely intertwined with his low-key, but potent, hedonistic desires. He’s not a noble hero, but a very human protagonist motivated by a combination of fear of death and fantasies about s*xy girls in expensive costumes. This vulgar, yet honest, drive is what Ami-chan finds so encouraging for the Dominion’s growth, making his s*xual and materialistic goals the key to his development.

 —

 Behind the Scene:

This chapter establishes the core gameplay loop and the protagonist’s motivation. The ‘Suireisen’ skill is a direct result of Shou using the resource conversion system, confirming that the Dominion evolves based on the player’s actions. The sudden appearance of the Fate Bifurcation Point acts as a narrative hook to move the story out of the base-building stage and into the plot’s next phase, immediately introducing the first major character.

 T/L:

1 [Sun Color’s Eye of Fate (陽彩の魔眼): Sun Color is Ami-chan’s true name, and this is the name of her unique ability that can see into the future or see life events. It is a Magic Eye that glows the color of the sun (陽 means sun/light/yang), hence the description.]

2 [Suireisen (水麗閃): Literally ‘Water Splendor Flash.’ It is the name of the new Dominator skill Shou acquired, a powerful high-pressure water beam.]

Notes:

• Ami – A palm-sized fairy-like being from a world separate from both Earth and the isekai realm. She has light blue hair tied in a ponytail, mischievous blue eyes, and tiny wings that flutter behind her. Her outfit consists of a provocative high-cut leotard and a short jacket that looks like a miniskirt from the back, leaving her legs bare. Despite her playful appearance, she is actively searching for a contractor who can protect her from dangerous pursuers in exchange for the powers she offers.

• Aion – The maid golem. She has chestnut-brown hair and and a well-featured, but utterly expressionless, face. Looks like Karakuri from certain series.
