Chapter 90 Great Domain Renovation and the Emergence of the Unique Maid

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Having diligently assisted Reika in augmenting her Magic Power¹, I managed to conclude my temporary work without further incident. I informed her that, starting tomorrow, I would be returning to the other world for some time.

She pleaded with me quite earnestly to take her along, but as one might expect, Reika has her own life to lead here in Japan.

I promised to take her when the opportunity arose, and assured her I would be in touch the moment I set foot in Japan again.

And so, Sunday arrived. I packed the various items I had purchased online into my Treasure Trove². This time, I even tucked my smartphone safely away within the spatial storage.

”Right then… shall we head back?” I asked.

 ”Aye! Let’s get going-nyaa! Let’s go-ya!” Ami-chan chirped.

”Go-ya…?” I muttered, confused by her choice of words.

By the time we returned to the Dominion³, the sun had already passed its zenith. Deciding to leave the finer tasks for the morrow, I immediately sought out the two women to offer my greetings upon our return.

We exchanged information as we always did, and I savoured the dinner prepared by the maids. When night fell, I shared a deep, fervent intimacy with them both.

I decided to set aside the various costumes and toys I had brought back for a later time. Since it had been a week since our last meeting, I prioritised the time the three of us spent together.

”It is incredible…! Ami-chan, this is becoming something truly spectacular!” I exclaimed.

”Indeed…! I was expecting great things upon our return, but this exceeds all anticipation-nyaa!” Ami-chan replied.

The following morning, I was attending to my routine duties within the Chamber of the Great Phantasmal Soulstone.

The first thing I verified was our Resource Point total. A truly staggering amount of points had accumulated, far beyond anything I had seen before.

I could have raised my level immediately. Nowadays, even without lifting a finger, the Resource Points came flooding in thanks to the plantation area. I felt, in a way, quite invincible.

However, I chose not to level up. Instead, I planned to utilise nearly the entire hoard of accumulated points to finally perform a grand renovation of the territory.

Cleonora and Liliarette entered the Chamber of the Great Phantasmal Soulstone. It was the first time either of them had ventured so deep into the heart of the labyrinth.

”I have never come this far in before… it makes me feel rather nervous,” Cleonora admitted.

”It is the heart and cornerstone of the Dominion, after all. And it is the sanctuary where Shimizu can manifest the full extent of their power as a Quester desuno,” Liliarette observed.

I projected a map of the territory so they both could see, and brought up the various control interfaces.

”Now then… based on the map and blueprints Liliarette prepared, I shall first clear the designated area entirely.”

 ”Very well,” Liliarette said.

I began by leveling everything to the ground, including the house, the toilets, and the kitchen hut that Liliarette had built when she first arrived at the Dominion.

Then, following our pre-conceived plan, I once again encircled the specified area with a wide, deep moat.

Next, I erected imposing stone walls reminiscent of a fortress. These would encompass all our daily living areas, including the vast plantation sectors.

I intended to station multiple combat-ready maids here later. With this, the territory’s defensive perimeter would be secure, day and night.

Once the basic enclosure was finished, I moved on to organising the living quarters. First was the design of the house where we ourselves would reside.

Liliarette had provided the fundamental design, but I consulted with the two of them further regarding the interior details. Since Resource Points were available in abundance, I was quite lavish with the materials.

”It feels quite right, does it not?” Cleonora remarked.

”Yes. I used the residences of high-ranking nobles in the Royal Capital of the Emmeld Kingdom as a reference… but considering the amenities, I suspect this shall prove even more magnificent desuwa,” Liliarette added.

The design was indeed based on those noble estates, but the interior had been significantly modified.

The entrance featured a vaulted ceiling, and I created a considerable number of private rooms. The mansion was also equipped with toilets, baths, and a kitchen space.

Furthermore, I poured a significant amount of points into the baths, creating a truly decadent facility.

It was large enough to be called a grand bathhouse, featuring wooden tubs, foot-bath areas, and even a space where one could soak in shallow water while lying down.

In certain areas, the floors were made of marble and thick pillars stood tall, giving the place an air of immense luxury.

By consuming Resource Points like water, hot water would flow from the showers at any time, and the tubs would always remain filled.

”Doesn’t this part alone consume a terrifying amount of points?” Cleonora asked, looking slightly taken aback.

”The maintenance alone will require quite a few points, will it not desuno?” Liliarette inquired.

”I won’t compromise on this…! Oh, and separately from this, I shall also be creating an outdoor bath,” I declared.

”Eh…?” they both uttered in unison.

This was merely the indoor bath within the mansion, designed primarily with luxury in mind.

However, for the outdoor bath, I intended to arrange natural rock formations to create an authentic open-air bathing space. If the maintenance points proved insufficient, I would simply expand the plantation area further.

In addition, I furnished the kitchen space quite magnificently.

This time, I placed the mansion in a slightly different location than before.

Previously, the underground stairs leading to the Chamber of the Great Phantasmal Soulstone were located just outside the house. However, from now on, these stairs would be situated within the mansion itself.

I made the room containing the underground stairs out of metal and fitted the door with a lock. One could never be too careful with the security of such a place.

From there, we discussed the furnishings for the rooms, the size and design of the tables, and other such details.

It took a considerable amount of time, but we managed to design a mansion far more grand than what had been originally planned.

”Ah… also, let us construct a basement,” Liliarette suggested.

 ”A basement…?” I asked.

”Yes. It is not impossible that some insolent individual might come here in the future. We shall install a dungeon to confine such people desuwa.”

”Eh… I wonder if the time will ever come to use it?” I wondered aloud.

Well, no matter. I followed Liliarette’s instructions and built a jail in the basement.

While the entrance was made of iron bars, the walls were constructed from thick glass at her suggestion.

”This way, even if the person confined within is plotting something, it shall be in plain sight desuno,” Liliarette explained.

”I only hope no such insolent person ever arrives,” I said.

Still, Cleonora had managed to reach the vicinity of the territory on her own before… so it wasn’t entirely impossible. I did have the Domain Alert function through my Dominator skill, at least.

At any rate, the mansion was now complete. I prepared private rooms for Cleonora and Liliarette, with closets and beds designed exactly to their preferences.

Though I called them private rooms, they were larger and more beautiful than my room back in Japan, and each was fully equipped with its own toilet. Life here would certainly not be uncomfortable.

”Right, I’m setting it down now,” I said.

I tapped the map, and the mansion was finally manifested. When we eventually went above ground, we would find ourselves inside the new house.

Though, the amount of Resource Points consumed was truly staggering…

”Fufu… starting from such a small hut, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come,” Cleonora whispered.

 ”Indeed…”

”My. With this much power, this land shall continue to develop more and more desuwa,” Liliarette said confidently.

Having finished the mansion, I then set up the outdoor bathhouse. I also placed various smaller buildings, such as storage sheds and crop management huts.

”Oh, and… I should like a pond. For the aesthetic,” Cleonora requested.

As she wished, I created a rather grand pond, drawing water from the lake. In time, I expected fish and other creatures would find their way there.

I also paved the paths between the mansion, the plantation, and the gates in the walls. It had become a rather… no, an exceptionally magnificent estate.

”Phew… I suppose that’s the end of the great renovation?” I exhaled.

”I never imagined I would be able to live on such a grand estate here in the Demon Forest¹⁰…” Cleonora said, her voice filled with wonder.

”The cleanliness is also on a completely different level from the Royal Capital desuno,” Liliarette noted.

Checking the remaining Resource Points, I saw that I could no longer afford to raise my level.

However, with the day’s harvest still to come, our income generally exceeded our expenditures. It wouldn’t be long before I could level up again.

”Now then, shall we expand our workforce?” I suggested.

With the territorial preparations having reached a stopping point, it was time for the manifestation of the maids.

I repeated the process of summoning maids for the number of people Liliarette deemed necessary.

There were twenty-five maids in total who possessed no combat abilities. Their duties would involve looking after our daily needs and maintaining the plantation area.

Then, I manifested fifteen maids who possessed a significant degree of combat power.

”Is it quite alright to manifest so many?” I asked.

”It should be fine now-nyaa! If things look dicey, we can just expand the plantation area like Shou said earlier-nyaa!” Ami-chan replied cheerfully.

By the way, “significant combat power” meant they were at a level where they could defeat a lion-headed demon monster single-handedly. They possessed strength equivalent to the very first maid I had summoned.

I began assigning classes to the maids that Ami-chan had produced.

They would stand guard over the territory twenty-four hours a day. At times, they might even go out to hunt demon monsters themselves.

”To have fifteen combatants capable of defeating a Gardan demon monster solo… Combined with the power of a Magic Girl, we could likely take on an entire knightly order,” Cleonora mused.

”In a place like this, one can never have too much military strength desuwa,” Liliarette added.

”Mhm, mhm! One never knows when pursuers might find this place-nyaa! Oh, that’s it! Why don’t we manifest a truly ‘amazing’ maid while we’re at it-nyaa?” Ami-chan suggested.

 ”An ‘amazing’ maid…?” I repeated.

”Yup-nyaa. It’ll cost a lot of points, and the maintenance cost is no joke… but having one would make things even more secure-nyaa!”

I assumed the points she meant were Ego Point¹¹.

Well, I could accumulate those daily now. Ami-chan was likely suggesting this because of the points I had saved up during my time in Japan.

”Alright, let’s give it a try,” I decided.

 ”Okey-dokey-nyaa!”

And so, I set about manifesting the sixteenth, “amazing” maid.

Light began to coalesce before my eyes, attempting to take a human form… when suddenly, a violent spark erupted.

 Summary:

Shimizu returns to the Dominion and uses a massive hoard of Resource Points to transform his humble hut into a luxurious noble-style mansion. He also significantly expands his maid workforce, preparing to summon a high-cost ‘Unique’ entity.

 —

 Character Insight:

Shimizu’s decision-making reveals a shift from survival to long-term settlement; he prioritizes comfort (the baths) and security (the dungeon and combat maids) over immediate personal leveling. This shows his growing confidence as a ‘Dominator’ who views the labyrinth not just as a game, but as a home to be protected and improved.

 —

 Behind the Scene:

The author hints at the arrival of a ‘Unique Individual’ in the next chapter, suggesting that the summoning system has rare tiers similar to gacha mechanics in mobile games.
