Chapter 86-4 Shirogane Aqua, The One-Star Customer Service Shop

 Haa… haa…

Kohina-senpai placed a towel over my ear.

This time, it wasn’t dripping. Just warm—comfortable.

”Yes. That should be better now.”

She checked the temperature of my ear. Then, carefully, she replaced the cool towel with a gently wrung hot one.

 The warmth spread slowly.

 Ah… this is nice.

If only everything had started like this, we could’ve avoided the chaos earlier.

 ”Does it feel good now?”

”If the first part didn’t happen, then… yes. It would feel amazing.”

At that, Kohina-senpai puffed her cheeks.

 ”I said I’m sorry!”

I pretended to sulk, just a little. A fake pout, easy to see through.

She suddenly looked nervous. Then… soft.

”Come on, cheer up. Really. I didn’t mean to mess up.”

 Yeah. I knew that already.

She’s not great with small tasks. She’s… clumsy. But she tries hard.

”Well… I guess it’s fine. Here, this should make you happy.”

She sat me up and pulled my head close. Right into her chest.

 YESSS! My fake sulking worked!

I pressed my face softly into her. Everything about Kohina-senpai was soft, warm, and smelled a little sweet—like soap and something gentle.

My worries disappeared. The past few minutes didn’t matter anymore.

 This… this was the best.

 ”Um, Kohina-senpai… It’s a little tight now. I can’t… breathe… hey—”

”You were faking, weren’t you? I could tell the whole time.”

Gulp. My face was stuck in her chest, and suddenly I started to sweat.

 I-I can’t breathe—

Right before I passed out, she let me go.

”Hehe. You think you can trick me? You’re still one hundred years too early.”

She looked proud, like she’d won something.

 Hahaha. That’s just like her.

Honestly, she is easy to fool… but not always.

Well, I got what I wanted.

Still, I need to be careful. I’m the only guy who can win against her, after all.

”What’s with that weird face? You’re creeping me out,” she said. “Anyway, I think the food I ordered is here. I’ll go get it.”

Right, I had ordered something earlier.

She left for a moment, then came back with a tray. On it—piping hot udon.

”See? It’s about time to eat. I ordered your favorite from Ramen Takeko. Be grateful.”

 Whoaaaa!

Was this… kindness? Real kindness from Kohina-senpai?

 My body began to shake.

Wait… no. That’s just because it was way too hot in here.

She picked up some noodles with chopsticks and held them to my mouth.

 ”Here, say ‘ahhh.’”

 ”Aa—It’s hotttt!”

She missed. The noodles hit the side of my lips and stuck there.

Dang it! I accidentally acted like I was on a variety show again!

”Sheesh. What am I going to do with you? Fuu fuu—”

Ah… she blew softly on the noodles, hair tucked behind her ear.

She looked like a real actress—elegant, serious… beautiful.

If this wasn’t Kohina-senpai, I might’ve fallen for her right now.

”Here. Now it’s fine. Open up.”

She brought the chopsticks close again.

Her face was close. Too close.

Even though her features were gentle and childish, it made my heart skip.

For a moment, I thought… maybe I should just push her down.

But I’m a disciple of Udon. Wasting it would be wrong.

So I started eating like I was supposed to.

”How is it? Is it good?”

 I nodded.

”Of course it is. I blew on it for you. That makes it perfect.”

Actually, it’s just because it’s from Ramen Takeko.

Emily, who worked part-time there, said the noodles were handmade and the soup stock was homemade too.

 Of course it’s good.

After finishing everything—yes, even the broth—I placed my hands together and whispered, “Thanks for the meal.”

”Are you full now?” she asked.

 I nodded again.

Then, she began to loosen the collar of her shirt. Just a little.

”Okay. So… want to take a bath together next? Or… should I do that thing you almost tried to do earlier? But this time, on the bed?”
