Misuzu-san relaxed her tense expression, showing a gentle smile and bowing her head.

I was taken aback by Misuzu-san’s words.
Those who attacked me back then were genuinely trying to kill me.

If the women’s mutual aid society was involved in the attack plan and they aim for a female-only society, it makes sense that the staff of Shirogane Kingdom, who are all women, were protected.
Misuzu-san’s words cleared up some of the discomfort I felt during the attack incident.

If I hadn’t done it, Mary would have done the same thing behind my back.
Even though Aqua-sama and Emily-oneechan are relaxed around her, I still can’t fully trust Mary.
There’s no way someone as competent as her missed the extremists within Stars and the Stars Orthodox Church.

…Typical of her not to mention Kanon-san, her own granddaughter.

As I got into the black sedan, a woman dressed in black approached.

I rolled down the car window, and the woman in black shook her head.

I think it was because Kato Iria-san couldn’t make it to the show, so Aqua-sama had to fill in on short notice.
”Right, got it. Would you mind looking into that as well?”

I ordered the black suits to investigate the meteorite, then closed the car window.
Sigh, it’s a lot of work, but I have to do it for Aqua-sama’s sake too.
I gazed out the window at the sky, thinking it would be great if this rain would just stop already.
