Today’s the day for the ‘Berry-Berry’ live broadcast!
I was sitting with Kohina-senpai, our guest, grinning like an idiot as we watched the edited footage from our recent trip.
”What’s with that face?!”
Huh?
I figured maybe Kohina-senpai would be a little embarrassed seeing the reconciliation video with her mom that was playing in the studio, but she was just lounging on the sofa as usual.
The audience murmured, “Classic Kohina Yukari.”
”Hmph! That was a week ago. What’s the big deal now?”
I was ready to offer some support if she looked embarrassed, but it seems my worries were completely unfounded for our Great Kaiju Yukari-gon-senpai.
I glanced at the camera, checking the time.
We still had about an hour left of the live broadcast, but the script only went up to this point.
Hmm, I had a bad feeling about this.
I didn’t think the ‘Berry-Berry’ staff would waste time on free talk, so something was definitely up.
Just as I was thinking that, the producer flashed a sly grin and held up a cue card.
[Have you forgotten something?]

I made sure to give Tenga-senpai his souvenirs, and there shouldn’t be anything else I forgot…
”Wait? Now that I think about it… Even though things ended well, didn’t you two forget to take a 100% lovey-dovey photo?!”

Everyone shouted in unison at the host’s, words.
Oh yeah…
Kohina-senpai and I exchanged glances, both realizing our mistake.
”Alright, so… Aqua and Kohina-senpai, you’ll have an hour until the end of the show to aim for a 100% lovey-dovey rating. And if you fail, the penalty is a date at Beryl in Wonderland! Got it?”
”Huh!? Why do I have to go on a date with this guy again?!”
From the stands, Kohina-senpai’s fans shower her with warm, mixed cheers and boos.
”Come on, come on, it’s fine. Besides, we just need to get 100 percent, right?”
The audience erupts at my words.
A date with Kohina-senpai sounds like a headache, butbeing able to spend a whole day at Beryl Wonderland doesn’t sound so bad.
I’ve been there for work a few times, but enjoying it as a customer is a whole different experience.
Besides, if we get 100 points, there’s no penalty, so either way, it’s a win for me.
”Don’t say things like that! You totally messed up last time!”
”Kohina-senpai, look around. Today it’s not just us, everyone’s here!”
I turn my gaze to Tenga-senpai, Shintaro, and Toa.
”To help me and Kohina-senpai reach a 100 percent love rating, will everyone help us out?”
The audience roars with approval at my proposition.
”Of course, Aqua!”
”Leave it to me, senpai!!”
”It’s fine by me, but don’t get your hopes up too high.”
Damn!
Shintaro, Tenga-senpai, and Toa are all looking really reliable now!!
I feel tears welling up in my eyes at their growth.
”Alright, I’ll go first!!”
Tenga-senpai steps forward and gives me and Kohina-senpai posing instructions.
Uh, so… I’m supposed to stand beside Kohina-senpai, supporting her shoulder like that…
Hmm, I got the leaning part right, but somehow it ended up looking like we were posing after a fight, with the sunset in the background.
”Hey, Tenga-kun. I’m not really good with romantic stuff, but this is definitely not right, isn’t it?”
I silently nod in agreement with Kohina-senpai’s words.
”Come on, Kohina-senpai, it’s up to that AI to judge.”
”Right, right.Unexpected things like this can happen!”
We had Tenga-senpai take a photo of us and posted it to social media.
[Tsukimachi Ayana: Cool! It’s like a movie poster!! ]
[Shirogane Kanon: Hmm, what is this? I guess this is fine too…]
[Morikawa Kaede: Huh? I thought we were here to watch a romance movie, but is this an action flick instead?]
[Sayamu Inko: What’s Yukari fighting with?! It was all good until the part where they were shoulder-to-shoulder, though.]
[Yukishiro Emily: They were definitely just hitting each other.]
[Romance came too early for Tenga-senpai.]
[Friendship level: 100 percent.]
[Something’s off, lol.]
Everyone’s reactions were just as I expected.
[3510: Yesterday’s rival is tomorrow’s friend! Enemy level: 100 percent!! No, wait, that’s not it!! That’s not what I want!! I want photos that make my heart race! This is making my heart race for the wrong reasons!!]
Oh, a 100% rating!

Does it have to be a lovey-dovey level?
Guess I have no choice.
”Ugh, sorry, junior! Looks like it’s still too difficult for me…!”
”Don’t worry, Tenga-senpai. Love comes in many forms.”
I’m a little worried about Haruka-san, but she’s an adult, so I’m sure she’s handling things well.
I turn my gaze to Shintaro.
”Shintaro… you got this?”
”Yeah, of course, my friend. Leave it to me!”
I approach Shintaro and give him a fist bump.
Shintaro pushes up his glasses and looks at the camera.
”Based on the data so far, I don’t think these two have enough of that sweet, youthful feeling.”
UOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!
Shintaro’s too-sane analysis makes me, Kohina-senpai, and the fans watching from the audience go wild.
”So, both of you, take the poses I tell you to, starting now.”
Uh, are we sitting on the sofa?

And Kohina-senpai is sitting on the sofa too.
Wait, Kohina-senpai, you’re so far away!
Why are you sitting so far on the edge!?
”This is how far apart Chigiri-san and I were when we first sat on the sofa together.”
Shintaro’s face turned beet red as he tried to explain, while the audience erupted in a cheer that bordered on a scream.
It’s gotta be a lie…
I’ve been sitting at arm’s length the whole time!
With completely ulterior motives….
”Huh? I mean, sometimes I do sit on the sofa and climb onto this guy’s lap…”
But that’s only for Kohina-senpai.
Sure, the Lapis and the others are still kids, but among the adults, only Kohina-senpai would sit on my lap.
Kanon wouldn’t even sit much when we were newlyweds because she was too shy…
”Shintaro, come on, you’re sitting a lot closer now, aren’t you?”
”Yeah, every date we get 1mm closer,” he admitted with a sheepish grin.

If you keep that up, you and Awashima-san are gonna end up an old man and woman!
It’s fine during the show, but when we get back to the dressing room, I’m gonna casually suggest taking it down to 1cm at a time.
Otherwise, poor Awashima-san…
Emily said Awashima-san looks like she’s holding back on her desires so much…
So me and Kohina-senpai had Shintaro take a picture, and we’re gonna post it on social media.
