”Yes! So, everyone from BERYL will take on a ghost-hunting game here in this abandoned hotel! And don’t worry, we got permission from the current owner!”
I see. That’s the reason.
We turn our eyes toward the impressive hotel standing before us.
”Hey, hey, why are we doing a ghost-hunt?”
”Because we wanted to see 4 boys’ ghost-hunt!”
The producer asks us with a sharp, confident look, pushing the plan forward.
Damn, I use that same trick myself when I show my own greed.
”Alright, now I’ll explain the details of the plan again!”
On the producer’s signal, another staff brings out a flip chart for explanation.
”From now, BERYL will explore this hotel to find hidden card keys. There are 4 cards, and the number of cards you bring back decides your room tonight, so do your best to find all 4!”
We look at the detailed info on the flip.

If we bring all 4 cards, everyone gets a private room.
Three cards for 2 people’s private rooms, the other 2 with twin rooms. Two cards means 2 doubles, one card means 4 people share one twin room──so 2 guys will have to squeeze into a single bed in the same room. Fun.

Serious Tenga-senpai steps closer to me.

Producer-san has always kept the promise we made that day.
Every time we meet, he jokes charmingly, “I’m still hanging on by a thread!” It’s really great that this person is the producer of ‘Berry-Berry.’
When I turn to Toa, Shintaro, and Tenga-senpai, we naturally form our usual circle.

I turned to Shintaro and Tenga-senpai behind me and waved my arms widely.

No way, there’s no one living around here, right?
