Male-Idol v13c413

Volume 13 Chapter 413 Fly out, idols!!

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

A few days have passed since the news broke: the meteorite was coming.

I’m just another corporate drone. I drag myself up, my body heavy as lead, and kill the alarm on my phone.

I have to go. I have to get to work…

Standing at the sink, I catch my reflection in the mirror.

 ”Heh… I look like a total wreck.”

The past few days have been a blur of restless half-sleep. I splash water on my face and slather on some lotion.

The meteorite is going to hit in a few months anyway. Is there even any point in working anymore?

I shake the thought from my head. Everyone else is still out there doing their best without losing it. I can’t let myself go down that road. Prime Minister Habu was just on TV calling for calm. Even if it hurts, I have to keep up the routine.

I let out a heavy sigh, start the washing machine, and head into the living room. Usually, I’d turn on the news, but lately, every broadcast is just a countdown to the end of the world. It’s too depressing. I set the remote back on the table without touching it and head for the kitchen.

”Ah, forget it. Making breakfast is too much work. Pass.”

I skip the stove and open the fridge. I should have a pre-packaged salad in here somewhere. I rummage through the shelves and pull out the container.

”Wait, gross… this might be rotten.”

I can’t even remember the last time I went grocery shopping. I give up on the salad and grab a lone banana from the counter.

 ”This’ll do.”

What did I even eat yesterday morning? I honestly can’t remember. I’m a total basket case¹. But then again, if we’re all going to die anyway, who cares?

I pick up my phone and open a message from my mother.

Are you eating properly?

Even now, she’s still such a mom. A small, warm feeling flickers in my chest. Maybe I’ll buy something real to eat on my way home today. I finish the banana, get dressed, do my makeup, and brush my hair.

”Now just a little cleaning, hang the laundry, and…”

I stop. The cleaning can wait. What’s the point in a spotless house when the future is so uncertain? I hang the laundry, leave the apartment, and head for the station.

The morning air is biting. I catch the 6:30 train toward the office. Looking around, the car is filled with people staring at the floor, their spirits visibly crushed. It feels like the world before Aqua-kun arrived.

I remember how it used to be. People would be buzzing about the latest episode of Heaven’s Sword or arguing over who was better—Kenzaki or someone else. Friends would be chatting about the last live show, showing off new merch, or talking about their first trip to Wonderland². Aqua-kun and the boys he inspired had made the morning commute something to look forward to. Everyone had something to smile about.

But today, the train is silent. People just stare blankly out the window. I realize I forgot to even check the Bulletin Board³ this morning. The joy of the past few days feels like a dream, replaced by a hollow void that makes every movement feel like a struggle.

”Next stop, Shibuya. Shibuya. The exit is on the right. Transfer here for the Toyoko, Den-en-toshi, Inokashira, and the three Subway lines. Please watch the gap between the train and the platform. Everyone, thanks for the hard work this morning. But, you must not overdo it! It’s a promise with me!!”

My heart jumps. It’s Aqua-kun’s voice. I’d almost forgotten that this announcement was what made the commute bearable. Around me, others seem to wake up too, filing out of the train and onto the platform.

 ”Hey! Are you okay?”

A boy’s voice. I look over and see him desperately holding onto a girl who has collapsed on the platform.

 ”What happened?” I whisper.

A passenger nearby leans in. “I think she was going to jump. That boy saw her and grabbed her just in time.”

”It really woke me up, seeing that,” someone else adds.

The girl on the ground is sobbing, her face a mask of grief. The boy looks lost, unsure of what to do next. I rush over and pull a handkerchief from my bag, offering it to her.

”Here, wipe your eyes. Are you hurt? Let’s move to that bench over there. Can you stand? Take my hand.”

I help her up, and together with the boy, we lead her out of the station. I just want to get her away from the staring eyes of the crowd. I feel like I could have been her. The thought makes my chest ache.

We find a stone wall in the plaza outside and sit her down. The boy disappears for a second and returns with a bottle of water from a vending machine.

”Here,” he says bluntly. “Drink this.”

He isn’t as polished as Aqua-kun, but the kindness in his gesture warms me.

”I’m so sorry,” the girl sobs, her fists shaking on her knees. “I’ve caused everyone so much trouble. I’m so sorry!”

”It’s okay,” I tell her softly. “You’re scared. I am too. I get it.”

 ”You… too?”

She finally looks up at me. I take her hand and nod. “I was sitting there this morning wondering if there was any point in even going to work. You were feeling that too, weren’t you?”

She nods frantically. I point toward the crowd moving through the plaza. “Look. Everyone feels the same way.”

She watches the faces of the people passing by and realizes she isn’t alone in her fear.

”I’m sorry. I was so caught up in my own head… I almost hurt so many people.”

I pull her into a hug. It’s easy to tell someone not to give up, but everyone has a breaking point where they can’t see clearly anymore. I can’t blame her. The boy stands by in silence, watching over us.

”It’s just… everything was so good a few days ago,” I sigh. “Why did it have to turn out like this?”

 ”I don’t know.”

I let go and look toward a large digital billboard nearby. It’s still scrolling news about the meteorite. Then, suddenly, the screen cuts to a familiar smiley face.

Beep beep beep!

My phone—and every phone in the plaza—starts screaming at once. I look at my screen. It’s the same smiley face.

THIS PHONE HAS BEEN HIJACKED BY AI3510! IF YOU WANT IT BACK, WATCH THIS VIDEO!!

”3510-chan?” I mutter. “Is she really using ransomware right now?”

My old habits as a Bulletin Board user die hard. Everyone stops. We all look at our phones, then up at the giant screen. The smiley face disappears, replaced by Aqua-kun.

”Everyone watching this, please,” he says. “Listen to me!”

A ticker runs across the bottom of the screen, calling for every streamer and station in the world to mirror the broadcast.

The boy next to me lets out a short laugh. “Of course. You’re the one who stands up when things get bad. That’s why even a guy like me follows you.”

”I know you’re all afraid,” Aqua-kun says, his voice steady. “And it’s arrogant of me to just ask you to stay strong and keep going like nothing is wrong. So I want to tell you something else. I want you to know that we are right there with you.”

The screen splits, showing Toa-chan, Mayuzumi-kun, and Tenga-senpai.

”All over the world, the smartest and most powerful people are working together to save this planet. They’re fighting. So we have to fight too! Don’t let the darkness take over your heart. Our battle starts right now!”

He grips the microphone until his knuckles are white.

”You aren’t fighting this alone. I’m here. We’re all here! If you see someone stopping, talk to them. If someone falls, reach out and pull them up. One person might not be enough, but two of us can make it. If two isn’t enough, then three! Or four! We are not alone! Let’s fight together! Let’s take back tomorrow!”

 God, he’s cool.

The light was returning to the eyes of the people on the street—people who, until a moment ago, had looked like the fire in them had gone out. Aqua raised his mic high.

”Singing is all we have! So we’ll keep singing until the very end! Until the moment you all seize hope for tomorrow!”

The sound of Moja’s drums thundered from every jumbotron, phone, and tablet. That thunderous rhythm jolted our hearts, resuscitating a pulse that had flatlined in the silence.

”This fire welling up from the bottom of my soul… it’s the courage I need to take the next step.”

Aqua placed a hand over his heart, pouring every ounce of that courage into the song. It was him. It was always him. He was the one who changed us.

”Let’s take each other’s hands,” Mayuzumi said, taking the baton. He looked toward the heavens, layering hope over that courage. “Let’s promise right here to grab hold of a tomorrow that’s just as bright as the days we used to know.”

Mayuzumi had always been there, right by Aqua’s side. Without him, BERYL never would have existed.

”To make sure we all see the sun rise together, we’re sending this song out to the whole world.”

Tenga stepped forward, his voice heavy with resolve. He was the one who pulled everyone along—the reliable big brother of the group.

”Everyone, you haven’t forgotten we’re still here on this planet with you, right?” Toa asked softly.

He took the light Tenga had passed him and wrapped it in a gentle, loving warmth. We knew. We’d always known. BERYL was always in our hearts.

 ”No more living in sadness!”

 ”Leave your tears right here!”

 ”We’re seizing tomorrow together!”

 ”Wake up your heart!”

The solo relay ended as their four voices harmonized into a single, massive wall of sound.

”Now, let’s go. We’re all brothers-in-arms in this fight. Burn away the darkness with the spirit’s fire! Find your peace with just a flicker of courage. We’re standing up right now to take back our lives!”

It was intense—too intense. But that was BERYL. Looking at the screen, I felt tears start to fall.

”Man, this isn’t exactly a 7:00 AM track,” a boy standing nearby muttered with a grin. “But damn, it’s the best.”

 I nodded silently.

Toa winked at the camera. “When you’re tired, just look at our faces.”

He was cute, sure, but today he looked incredibly cool.

”It’s okay,” Mayuzumi added with a gentle smile. “We’re right here. You aren’t alone.”

He’d grown so much. I felt a surge of gratitude that he was the one standing next to Aqua.

”Don’t let the fear win,” Tenga barked, his face set in a mask of masculine reliability. “Keep your heart steady.”

It was okay. We could feel it. His passion was reaching the younger members, and it was reaching us, too.

”Now, let’s fight together. Let your heartbeat scream!”

Aqua’s shout was the final jolt. My heart, which had been dormant until minutes ago, hammered against my ribs. I didn’t know why, but just hearing his voice made me feel like I could take on the world.

”Break through at full speed! To all our comrades in this fight—cut through the darkness with that courage! We can do this! Take that shadow of your old, hesitant self and burn it to ash with the fire in your soul!”

The girl next to me was staring at the jumbotron, sobbing openly. I pulled a tissue from my bag and wiped her cheeks.

”Come on,” I whispered. “We have to leave the tears here. A pretty girl like you shouldn’t ruin her look.”

I looked around. Everyone had stopped walking. It was just like the day the World Joint Declaration was broadcast, but the feeling was different. This time, everyone’s eyes were shining.

”Let’s go toward tomorrow, all of us! If a comrade is stumbling, give them a shoulder to lean on. Wrap those who’ve stopped in love. Every single one of you is a hero! Now, go! Toward tomorrow!”

I found myself standing up. Not just me—the girl next to me, the people who had been sitting on the benches—everyone stood.

”Everyone! The morning is just getting started!” Aqua shouted.

”Here we go! Song number two!”

 ===

 Morning Medley

 ===

A medley? This early? Before we could even process the sentiment, the music shifted.

”Wake it up! Your true feelings!”

Aqua threw his hand up. Suddenly, Yamada, Kujaku, Hajime, and the others flooded onto the stage. It wasn’t just BERYL anymore. The crowd gasped in unison.

”Make your cold heart run hot!”

Yamada pointed a finger at the camera, only for Kujaku to snatch the mic from his hand.

”Is this really enough for you? No more regrets!” Kujaku sang it like he was trying to convince himself, then passed the mic to Hajime.

”Before it’s too late, start running!”

Hajime handed the mic to the man standing next to him. I blinked. That was Rihito Kuga, the Prime Minister’s secretary.

”I heard the voices screaming and crying, but I kept my eyes closed until now.”

Kuga passed the mic to a burly man. Morikawa’s father? Chinsuki’s father?

”But we’re saying goodbye to those days!”

The older man passed it to a middle-aged stranger. I didn’t recognize him, but it didn’t matter.

”The person I was yesterday isn’t the person I am today.”

Thank you, random mister, I thought. That actually gave me a lot of strength.

”Look forward with everything you’ve got. I don’t want to hear excuses!”

It was Tsuwabuki. As a fan, seeing him shine like he’d been reborn brought me to the verge of tears again.

 ”Burn the passion inside you!”

Kamonohashi took the mic and handed it to the man next to him—Emily’s father.

”Don’t look away from what you’ve been avoiding.”

Was Danjou Yukishiro always this cool? He usually seemed so laid back; the sudden intensity gave me total whiplash.

”Someone, somewhere, is crying alone,” Nobu shouted, using his real voice instead of his usual falsetto. “Don’t let that voice go unheard!”

He was actually a great singer. I guess even the staff are talented.

”If the dry air is going to wither your heart, then burn it all down with your own heat!”

Moja took the mic. I knew he was a producer, but his vocals were incredible.

”Nobody can stop this fire in my soul now!”

Tenga caught the mic as Moja tossed it, staring into the camera. I couldn’t identify the specific emotion in his eyes, but his passion was undeniable.

”This isn’t just a dream. My heart won’t let it end here.”

That’s right, Mayuzumi, I thought. You aren’t just looking up at Aqua anymore. You’re standing right there with him.

”It’s my turn to save you,” Toa sang. “Let my fire light yours.”

He was showing us so many different sides today.

”If I get serious, I can change the world!”

Aqua took the mic back to finish the set. Behind him, dozens of trainees and boys I didn’t recognize had rushed the stage. It was unbelievable. The song ended, but the energy didn’t drop for a second.

 ”One last spurt! Let’s go!”

 The crowd roared in response.

”The peaceful world is under attack!” Aqua sang.

 ”But why?” Toa countered.

 They were the perfect duo.

”Everyone’s smiles are fading in the crisis!”

”I won’t allow it!” Mayuzumi shouted.

The two best friends locked eyes and shared a firm nod.

”We’ll run to the side of anyone who’s grieving!”

”Run through the now!” Tenga bellowed.

Tenga really was the ultimate senior.

”With these hot feelings, BERYL is coming for you! We’ll light the hope in your hearts with our fire!”

I was so glad I supported them. I was so glad I was an Aqua fan. Hearing their four voices overlap, I was crying and smiling at the same time.

”The quiet night is turning to dark,” Moja sang, Nobu leaning in beside him.

 ”Don’t worry,” Nobu replied.

Because these adults were there, Aqua and BERYL were able to step into the light. I felt a deep sense of gratitude toward the men who worked so hard behind the scenes.

 ”Resentment distorts the heart!”

”You aren’t alone!” Yamada and Kujaku shouted, grinning at each other.

I remembered how shocked I was when they entered the idol auditions. Because they took that leap, so many other boys were brave enough to follow.

”We’ll find you cowering in the corner of your room!”

 ”Run faster than light!”

Hajime stood with his arms around the shoulders of the new boys.

Thank you, I thought. Thank you all for standing up. The world was changing, and we had to change with it. We weren’t going to let it end like this.

”Time to burn your heart and stand up! BERYL will fight this injustice! To take back our peace and our lives! Let’s live this moment for all it’s worth—together!”

Aqua gripped the mic with white knuckles, speaking directly to everyone watching the feed.

”Now, everyone in front of the screen! Join us!”

He turned the mic toward the audience. On the jumbotron and our phone screens, the lyrics began to scroll.

”””””Holding this burning passion close, I’m coming for you all! BERYL!! I’ll light the spark of hope in everyone’s hearts… with this fiery soul of ours!!”””””

I scream at the giant screen towering over the street. No—it isn’t just me. Everyone watching the broadcast finds their voice, a collective roar rising from the pavement.

When Aqua-kun threw both hands into the air, he was practically demanding “more” heat from us. Seeing that, a light flickered in the hearts of the children who, until a moment ago, were too frozen to sing.

Hehe, he really knows how to work a crowd. When everyone’s singing together like this, there’s no room left to feel embarrassed!

”””””Tear through the darkness in everyone’s hearts! Summon a storm, BERYL!! Right now, my heat is catching—it’s infectious! On this planet, I—WE ARE HERE! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”””””

 Ah, what an incredible feeling.

The girl next to me, the boy nearby, people of all ages—everyone sang at the top of their lungs to clear away the depression that had weighed them down until now. BERYL is everything I expected, and Aqua-kun is truly amazing. Thanks to them, so many people were able to reclaim their energy and find hope for tomorrow.

”Watch it, you guys! Word’s out to the bigwigs that we hijacked the TV station rooftop. Let’s scram!”

”Aqua, you’re kidding, right? This was… unauthorized?!”

Toa-chan… we’re all feeling the same way. Wait, there’s no way this was actually illegal, right? I want to believe it was just part of the performance.

”Everyone, let’s meet again tomorrow!! That’s a promise!!”

We all nod vigorously at Aqua-kun’s words. Yes, let’s meet again tomorrow. Absolutely!

”Also, if you’ve got complaints, send ’em to Kohina-senpai’s socials! She’s taking full responsibility!!”

With those parting words from Aqua-kun, the monitor suddenly cut back to a normal broadcast. Even my phone, which had been taken over by 3510-chan’s ransomware, returned to its original screen.

Wait, hold on. I just realized—isn’t Saba-chan kind of dangerous if she can hijack this many phones in an instant? I thought about it for a few seconds, then decided not to dig too deep. Like Hagetoru always says, you won’t last long on the Bulletin Boards if you sweat the small stuff.

”Whoa, look. Kohina Yukari’s socials are getting roasted in record time.”

”Whatever, her feed is always a dumpster fire. I can’t even tell if this is a new flame or just the old one still burning.”

”They’re calling her comment section the ‘Free-for-all Message Board’ now.”

”Gonna go post a commemorative comment! Kakiko!

Well… I guess that information doesn’t really matter. I turned my gaze toward the girl standing next to me. The life had returned to her face; she looked considerably more energetic than she had a while ago.

”I’m so sorry, both of you. And thank you so much. Um, if it’s okay, I’d like to find some way to repay you.”

 ”Don’t worry about it. I didn’t really do anything…”

The girl and I both looked toward the boy standing nearby.

”…It’s fine. I’m not the kind of person people say ‘thank you’ to. Forget about it. Consider this a bit of penance.”

With that, he turned to leave. I took a step forward and called out to him.

”Even so, you saved this girl. Besides, you looked just as cool as the boys on the screen earlier!”

 ”…Heh. Thanks.”

The boy shot us a quick grin and a wave before disappearing into the crowd. A bright red sports car pulled up exactly where he was heading.

”I’m here! Where’s the girl who tried to jump?!”

”…Old man Bernard, Shirogane Aqua and his merry band of misfits already handled it. Come on, let’s go.”

The boy hopped into the passenger seat, and the two of them sped off.

Hehe, I guess there are boys like that in the world too. We have to do our best, then. Not just repeating yesterday, but moving forward to grasp a tomorrow that goes even further.

As I looked at the girl’s face, both of our stomachs growled in unison.

”Sorry. Actually, I’ve only had a banana all day. Hey, since we’re both here, do you want to go grab breakfast?”

 ”Ye-yes!”

No matter what’s going on, you can’t do much on an empty stomach. Laughing with the girl, I headed toward a nearby beef bowl shop. It was time to fuel up!

 Summary:

Following the announcement of an impending meteorite impact, the world has fallen into a state of deep despair and lethargy. The protagonist struggles to find motivation for her daily routine, barely functioning as a corporate employee. At Shibuya Station, she witnesses a young boy save a girl from a suicide attempt and steps in to offer emotional support. Their interaction is interrupted when a mysterious AI hijacks every screen and phone in the vicinity. Aqua, a popular idol, appears on the broadcast to deliver a powerful message of solidarity. He urges the population to fight against their internal darkness and support one another to survive.

Aqua and the idol group BERYL perform a massive street concert that revitalizes a dispirited public. The performance evolves into a large-scale medley involving not just the idols, but also staff members, government secretaries, and regular family members of other characters. This unexpected participation signals a massive societal shift where various men are standing up to reclaim their ‘daily lives.’ The narrator, a female fan, experiences a deep emotional catharsis as she witnesses the solidarity on display. The crowd, previously stagnant and hopeless, joins in the performance, standing up in unison as lyrics appear on every available screen. The event transcends a simple concert, becoming a collective stand against an unspoken ‘unreasonableness’ or crisis.

 —

 Trivia:

 - The ‘rotten salad’ and ‘basket case’ remarks symbolize the literal and figurative decay of society’s will to live.

 - Aqua’s voice acting as an ‘anchor’ at the station suggests he has taken on a role larger than just an entertainer, becoming a psychological pillar for the public.

 - The AI hijacking (AI3510) indicates that the resistance against the apocalypse is not just governmental but involves high-level rogue technological interventions.

 - The phrase ‘World Joint Declaration’ suggests a global political context that was likely a source of the initial despair.

 - The mention of ‘shadow of your old, hesitant self’ implies a psychological barrier characters are overcoming together.

 - The participation of Rihito Kuga (Secretary) hints that the idol performance has significant political backing or impact.

 - The shifting eyes from ‘no light’ to ‘shining’ symbolizes the literal return of hope to the citizenry

 - Beryl Lyrics: Translated with a rhythmic, high-energy “Idol-Warrior” tone to match the guerrilla broadcast theme.

 - Nano (なの): Handled as a stylistic choice. In the lyrics, it was translated to emphasize the “for you/everyone” sentiment rather than a literal “it is.”

 - BBS Slang:

 - Flaming (Enjou): Localized as “getting roasted” and “dumpster fire” to reflect modern US social media terminology.

 - Kakiko: Translated as a “commemorative post” to reflect the 2chan culture of posting in threads during major events.

 - Beef Bowl Shop (Gyudon-ya): Kept as a cultural marker but framed as the go-to spot for “fueling up” (comfort/energy food).

 - Penance (Hangyaku/Kuyashii context): The boy’s dialogue implies a deeper, darker backstory, so “penance” was used to capture the weight of his refusal of thanks.

 —

 Character Insight:

The protagonist shifts from a state of total isolation to active empathy when she helps the suicidal girl, showing that shared trauma can bridge gaps between strangers. The boy’s reaction to Aqua’s speech reveals a deep-seated respect that transcends typical fandom, suggesting idols are seen as wartime leaders.

The bond between Aqua and Mayuzumi is highlighted as the core of BERYL, showing mutual respect and growth. The hierarchy of BERYL is also explored, with Tenga serving as the ‘senior’ leader who inspires the others. Most notably, the barrier between ‘performers’ and ‘adults/staff’ breaks down, showing a new dynamic of total cooperation to save their world.

 —

 Lore And Worldbuilding Context:

The world is currently under a 1-99 gender ratio, making male idols like Aqua rare and extremely precious assets. Public transportation in Shibuya utilizes celebrity/idol voice announcements to maintain public order and mental health.

The world seems to be in a state of ‘crisis’ where everyday peace has been violated. Idol culture in this world has the power to mobilize government officials and private citizens alike. There is a technological integration where jumbotrons and personal devices sync perfectly for public broadcasts.

 —

 TL Notes:

The term ‘Bulletin Board’ refers to Japanese anonymous forums like 2channel, which are central to the ‘Netizen’ subculture mentioned in the story.

The term ‘whiplash’ was used to adapt the Japanese concept of ‘gap’ (the difference between a person’s usual demeanor and a surprising new side). ‘Comrades’ and ‘Brothers-in-arms’ were used to capture the revolutionary tone of the lyrics.

Notes:

• Aqua – A male public figure or idol planning a world tour starting in the United States. Perceived as an ‘invader’ or rival by the Chairman. The central figure of the Holy Aqua Faith and the Church of Power. A student at Otomezaki Academy. Possesses the ‘legendary sword’ and the ability to turn lesbians into submissive females through physical contact. The central male figure of the Church of Power. Husband to Yukishiro Emily. Possesses a powerful scent and male pheromones that incapacitate women at close range.

• Ken – Male. A rehabilitated man working in the mine. The fiancé of Akiyama Sachiko, the organizer of the party or one of the protagonist’s (Aqua’s) mother’s students (ikebana) appeared in Volume 2 Chapter 12. However, their engagement is not yet officially recognized, as the necessary documents have not been signed by all parties involved. Ken-kun behaves inappropriately during the event, attempting to flirt with Kanon and later becoming aggressive, even wielding a replica sword. His actions cause a disturbance, and he is eventually subdued and removed by the security team.

• Emily – Emily (Yukishiro Emily), a beautiful, graceful descendant of the Yukishiro family, is a female talent famed for vocal impressions — especially Kanon — and winner of the ‘Impression King’ title. She regularly collaborates with Shirogane Aqua on variety shows and is one of his wives.

• Kohina Yukari – Female idol‑actress with a striking cowlick hair, battling a severe flu and nasal congestion, portrays the General in a Taiga drama; she rolls on tatami mats, picks her nose in‑character, and often works with Shirogane Aqua. Though a shut‑in, she maintains a surprisingly toned physique and dreams of motherhood.

• Shirogane Aqua – Male idol and BERYL’s central figure, known as Master Aqua or Aqu‑tan, sports a dazzling face, sparkling eyes and a beige suit on live broadcasts. Easy‑going yet cool, he’s a Berry‑Berry member, recent father of Satsuki, married to several women including Kanon, dubbed a ‘libido monster’ by Yukari. His ‘descending god’ stage aura and massive influence shape the group’s ethics and drive global gender‑dynamic shifts.

• Bernard – Male. New recruit in the IAF. Brown hair, average build. Cautious and thoughtful, with a strong desire to support Aqua-sama and his followers. Has three daughters: Beatrice, Leticia, and Serafina. His relationship with Ethan is that of a subordinate and superior.

• Secretary – She serves as the Chairman’s administrative secretary and heads the Women’s Mutual Aid Society, a role passed down from mother and grandmother. A virgin, she hides her face behind a hood, clutching a bag of idol merchandise, and is a secret hardcore BERYL fan.
