That substance brought far more information into me than all the others.
I heard the sound of something bursting inside my head, and blood flowed from my eyes and nose, making a puddle on the floor.
The voice, which had sounded excited, grew farther and farther away, and then I couldn’t hear it at all.
All information was shut out. I couldn’t see, I couldn’t hear, I couldn’t smell… I had no sense of touch, and I didn’t even know what position my body was in.
It felt like only my mind was floating in a completely dark world where no sound existed.

My own fingers pierced my throat. I coughed up blood from the sudden event and rolled off the bed.

I desperately held my throat, struggling, my mouth opening and closing uselessly.
I tried to stop the air leaking out before it reached my lungs, but the voice wouldn’t wait even a little.
‘Annd, we’ll transplant the Human-Faced Bird’s vocal cords. The method is the same as Haruka-kyun’s magic eye.’
A scream without words came out. A burning, sharp pain ran through me, like melted iron sticking to the back of my throat.
Something was invading me. It was like when Haruka’s magic eye was transplanted, but different… Something inside my body was fighting.
My eyes hurt. They felt hot, rejecting something.

But what I tore off was my own right middle finger.
My left hand grabbed it and pulled hard, peeling off only the outside meat. The bone left behind was just snapped off.

I let the blood pouring from my right hand drip down, pouring it onto the sorcery mummy.
‘When it’s back to normal enough, just attach it where the ripped-off middle finger was! Attach!’
It felt like all the blood in my body was being sucked out. My right arm’s blood vessels burst from the pressure, the meat tore, and the bone was crushed.
A strange thing entered my broken right arm, trying to become one with me—no, trying to take me over.
My eyes got even hotter, and my throat vibrated quickly. The three factors were raging inside me, trying to push each other out.
It felt like my whole body was being torn apart, and I lost consciousness over and over.
‘Next is pretty easy. Just cut open the stomach, take out the stomach bag, mix it with the Slime Demon’s remains like making a hamburger patty, shape it like a stomach again, and put it back in!’
I foamed at the mouth and wet myself.
