It’s about Risa-san. She probably chose the housekeeper service through the real estate agent who helped her find this place.
Thinking that, after Risa-san left for work, I secretly looked up housekeeper services online.
(Risa-san is such a good customer.)
The service Risa-san is using is part of the same group as the real estate agent, and it’s a bit more expensive because you can request specific times and only female staff.
If you don’t need a fixed member and are okay with just specifying days and whether it’s morning or afternoon, there are plenty of cheaper options available.
It might be a good idea to check out other housekeeper companies that the residents here are using.
(In the end, changing the service is the best solution.)
Right now, I don’t have a strong enough reason to convince her to change, so it’s tough to switch services. The best I can do at this point is to research in advance and narrow it down to a couple of options.
(A reason to convince her…)
I don’t want to just wait for a big reason to come up. I want to avoid leaving it to chance and having Risa-san get stuck in a bad situation where it’s too late to help.
(What’s missing in this room?)
It would be cooking tools and dishes, but since Risa-san doesn’t cook, it’s not a big deal for her, and it’s not something she spends money on regularly, so that reason isn’t strong.

Risa-san’s house has no unnecessary items and has most of the things she needs.
(Anyway, it’s almost time for my part-time job.)
My phone alarm went off, and I headed to my part-time job.

”Thanks for your hard work. Huh? Was today a changeover day?”
”Yeah. Shuu, good work. It’s almost October, so we’re changing things for Halloween.”
Outside the café and bar, various plants were lined up, and a plant rental service was doing the changeover.
I entered from the back, changed into the store uniform of a white shirt, black pants, and a black V-neck apron, and chatted with the owner while watching the process.
This place is privately owned, and the café and bar have different menus. That’s why they close the store from 3 PM to 5 PM to prepare for the menu switch.
(Without plants, it looks really bare.)
The inside of the store is oddly brown and black. I hadn’t noticed it before, but I realize now that I usually catch glimpses of green plants in my peripheral vision, which gives a calming effect.
(Risa-san’s house is so big, yet she only has a mini cactus and a small air plant.)
It seems like there should be some larger potted plants in that room, but with how busy Risa-san is, it seems impossible for her to take care of many plants.
”Here, this is the new menu, so remember it.”
”Is it a limited menu for October?”
”Yeah.”
After the owner told me that, I got to work at the café.
