I got closer and swung my long claws, sending the Black Bullet members flying away.
My strength grew because of the Big Claw Bear ability, and my attacks made the Black Bullet members’ metal armor lose its paint.
Underneath the paint, the armor was a beautiful, shiny white color.
”Aaaagh! I’ll definitely beat all of you!!”
The Majin Clan girl pointed her magic gun at me as I got close.
I quickly reached out and turned the gun toward the other girl.
Tat-tat.
Tat-tat.
Tat-tat.
Because I changed the gun’s direction, the bullets hit her friends.
But their weak spots were protected by metal armor, so the bullets just bounced off.
”Kerstin… It missed the weak spot, but it still hurts.”
”I didn’t mean to! Forgive me!”
The girl who got shot knelt down and stopped moving.
I used the girl as a stepping stone and jumped into the air.
”Ungh! You used Sierra as a stepping stone?!”
I put a piece of monster meat into my mouth.
I ate the meat of a Grade A Thunder Bird.
Lightning wings grew from my back.
Then, I flapped my wings in the air, and lightning rained down on the arena.
”Kyaaah!!”
The Black Bullet members, wearing metal armor, were hit by the lightning and dropped their magic guns, falling to the ground.
The audience was shocked by the changes to my body because of [Devour Possession].
”Don’t get carried away! We can’t lose!”
Kerstin, the Hunting Group Leader, picked up a magic gun from the ground and aimed it at me.
With a “Spooon” sound, my body in the air was hit by a shockwave.
”Aghhh!”
”Roll around from the explosion!”
Kerstin’s shot blew away the lightning wings I created and slammed me to the ground.
In that moment, the other members grabbed their dropped guns and mercilessly fired explosive rounds.
The explosive rounds from Black Bullet slowly chipped away at my hardened body, and cracks began to form.
”Uuuuuugh!! I can’t lose! I have to win for everyone to live happily!”
”Just admit defeat already! You’ll die!”
Kerstin looked pale as she watched me endure the storm of explosions.
Some people in the audience booed at the cruel attacks from Black Bullet.
”I won’t lose! I promised Rosalinda and the others!”
I tossed a piece of monster meat into my mouth.
It was A-class Revive Bird.
As the magic element spread through me, a tingling sensation hit my brain, and I felt a wild urge to destroy everything in sight.
Black mist and flames for regeneration began to rise from my body.
Wrapped in the flames of regeneration, my body healed quickly, and the cracks disappeared.
”What?! You’re regenerating?! What kind of trick are you using without magic? Who are you?!”
Taking advantage of the hesitation from Kerstin and the others, I jumped up again and spread my lightning wings.
The lightning I unleashed at full power rained down on the members of Black Bullet one after another.
”Kyaaaaaaa!!!”
I charged at Kerstin, who was on her knees from the lightning, and struck her chin with my hardened knee.
Kerstin, caught off guard by my flying knee strike, rolled on the ground, kicking up dust.
It was a solid hit to her chin, so I don’t think she’s dead, but she’ll be out for a while.
”Hunting Group Leader Kerstin!”
The Black Bullet members ran to help Kerstin.
I went near that girl and used my Big Claw Bear ability to make my hands stronger and I slapped her away!
The girl flew into the wall and passed out.
”Eek! Monster…”
A girl who was shooting to help felt scared and backed away.
Because she was so scared, she couldn’t change the bullets in her gun right.
”You break too!”
My mouth roared like a Roar Dragon, and the roar hit the girl!
Her metal armor dented, and she passed out.
Every time I beat someone, I felt so good!
I wanted to destroy even more!
”Don’t be scared! If we lose here, Sir Kent will hate us!”
After Kerstin fell, a woman from the Majin Clan named Sierra took charge, but the other members were scared by my power.
”You’re so annoying!”
”Agh!”
I got close to Sierra and kicked her.
My foot hit Sierra’s face with a thud.
Her cheekbone is probably broken.
Sierra passed out and was about to fall, so I kicked her again, sending her toward her friends.
”She, Ms. Sierra! Eek! Ugh!!”
I got close to the two Black Bullet members who caught Sierra and slashed them with my claws.
The clasps on their metal armor broke, and their chest plates fell.
I slashed their unprotected chests, tearing through their armor, and their breasts were now out!
”Eek! My chest!”
I kicked them while they were trying to cover their chests, and they passed out.
The two remaining Black Bullet members looked at each other, like they were thinking about surrendering.
”You! Surrender now, or I’ll knock you out! 5…4…3…2…”
”We, we surrender! We surrender!”
The two of them placed their magic guns on the ground at the same time and raised their hands, showing they would not resist.
Talia was shocked to see her strongest pawn, Black Bullet, powerless and defeated.
It was not an exaggeration to say that she had completely lost her fighting spirit.
”Host!!!”
Since the opponent offered to surrender, we called the host to confirm our victory.
The host, approaching with fear, acknowledged the surrender, and the outcome was decided.
”The winners are!! ‘Rootless Weed’ Iska Row team!!”
When my victory was announced, the crowd erupted in thunderous cheers.
They praised me for single-handedly defeating a top-class party.
While responding to the cheers, the dark mist coming from my body made it hard to control my urge to attack.
If someone got too close now, even if they were an ally, I felt like I might attack them.
”Ugh… I need to be alone for a while… I can’t go to Heta or Rosalinda now… The effect should wear off by tonight… I just have to hold on until then…”
To avoid hurting my friends because of the urge to attack, I left the venue without joining Heta and Rosalinda.
~New Character~
Heta, a 30-something male from the Garuda Clan, belongs to the ‘Rootless Weed’ and is a monster hunter.
He grew up as a drifter, never knowing his parents’ faces.
Struggling to eat, he became a monster hunter but couldn’t join a big hunting group.
While hunting with a small party, he got surrounded by monsters and was saved by Rosalinda, leading him to join ‘Rootless Weed.’
Since childhood, he has always been hungry and would eat anything that could fill his stomach.
He has a friendship with Renge, a monster cook known as the legendary cooking person.
Renge, a 30-year-old woman from the Majin Clan, is known as the legendary cook, Abyss Vena.
She’s interested in monster materials that normal people avoid, and is famous as an expert in monster cooking.
Her dishes are incredible, but she only serves them to people she likes, which is why they call her a legendary cook.
She has a shop in the Hunter Town of Abyss Vena, but it’s closed during her ingredient explorations and only opens when she returns, making her even more of a legend.

This giant snake, soaked in magic elements for many years, has turned into a monster.
It has a special organ that shoots concentrated magic energy in beams from its mouth, attacking hunters from hidden spots.
They always live in pairs, and there are usually winged snakes around them.
- Spring Gazelle

Type: Animal
This gazelle, soaked in magic elements in the grasslands, has turned into a monster.
It has powerful legs and can leap up to 5 meters high or run away quickly.
Even though it’s not aggressive, many have died from its strong kicks when standing too close.
- Big Claw Bear

Type: Animal
This bear, living deep in the forest, turned into a monster after years of magic exposure.
It has huge arms and long claws that can slice through steel armor like paper.
The claws dropped by this monster are used as materials for the Big Claw weapon, highly desired by fist fighters.
- Thunderbird

Type: Animal
This bird, with the power of electricity, became a monster after absorbing magic elements.
At the same time, it gained the ability to fly, and its wings are always charged with electricity, glowing brightly.
When it flaps its wings, lightning strikes nearby creatures, stunning them so it can devour them.
It has only been found deep in the Southern Region.
- Revive Bird

This firebird, wrapped in flames, turned into a monster after absorbing magic elements.
The [Flames of Rebirth] it emits constantly restores its physical strength, so you need strong attacks or a finishing move to defeat it.
The [Flames of Rebirth] heal itself but harm other creatures, making it very troublesome.
The rare drop from this monster, the [Flames of Rebirth], is a material that can wrap equipment in [Flames of Rebirth].
