Volume 12 Chapter 6 Group Training Day From The Observer’s Perspective
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
The old man didn’t expect Milly to jump on him, so he couldn’t run away and got caught by her.
Milly, free from being the head of the organization and no longer clouded by useless thoughts, showed her power as an S-Class Hunter.
”Poplar. I can now focus only on protecting Kent.”
Poplar tried to evade Milly’s attack with martial arts but got trapped in a joint lock and couldn’t move.
”Ouch, Lady Miriallia. My hand is going to break! If you harm me, a messenger with an official letter, it will cause a diplomatic problem!”
”I don’t care about that. Right now, I am only Kent’s wife. It’s my job to keep my husband safe.”
Milly was completely in serious mode.
If I left this alone, she might kill Poplar, who came as Aldo’s messenger.
Reluctantly, I called out to Milly to stop.
”Milly, ease up. He’s claiming to be an official messenger, so don’t hurt him. But if he makes any weird moves, you can go ahead.”
”What! How unreasonable! Sir Kent wouldn’t associate with such a wicked person!”
Poplar, freed from Milly’s joint lock, jumped in front of me while still carrying her baggage.
Milly stood close enough to stab Poplar if she made any suspicious moves.
”I understand. Because of what happened last time, I am being careful.”
Poplar brushed off his clothes and handed over Aldo’s letter, looking sulky.
”Sir Kent and Lady Miriallia take my playful jokes too seriously. Do you really think I would harm Sir Kent? Honestly, the South District is full of people with dark thoughts.”
”That’s Poplar’s own fault. It’s bad to anger Milly.”
I listen to Poplar’s complaints while I read Aldo’s letter.
I was shocked by what I read.
I knew from the intelligence report that Gwain and Aldo started fighting over the northeast, but it said that the war, which seemed long, ended with Gwain’s organization suffering a huge defeat.
Since the Gertroud rebellion, Milly’s intelligence organization in the northeast has weakened, making it hard to get information; they were relying on traders for news.
Aldo took back the northeast… If that’s true, Gwain is in big trouble now… I heard they are also fighting with Yaalan in the north… Gwain is really falling.
As I read more of Aldo’s letter, it mentioned that they captured an enemy general during the combat, and as compensation for the trouble I had from the recent coup, they were going to give me that enemy general.
I don’t need an enemy general from Gwain…
”Poplar, I’m sorry, but please take back the gift. I can’t use a Gwain general at my place.”
”Is that so? He’s a pretty good general. If you let him command cavalry, he can march twice as fast.”
Poplar smacked the bundle of cloth, talking like a trader.
A cavalry officer… If Ane heard about this, she would want him, but he’s a man… I couldn’t have him in the cavalry… It’s really a shame…
”Never mind, I don’t want him.”
”Don’t say that! Why not see him first?”
Poplar spread the cloth in front of me.
Inside the cloth was a n*ked succubus, bound and gagged, with a wiggling thing stuffed into her private parts.
”Mmmmmm!!!”
I was stunned to see the n*ked succubus roll out in front of me, my eyes locked on her.
She had been bound for a long time, it seemed, and was showing signs of desire.
”Poplar! What are you doing to that succubus?! She could die!”
Milly saw the weak succubus and got very angry.
She kicked Poplar from behind.
Poplar barely dodged and smoke came from his body.
The area was soon covered in a white mist.
”Well then, Sir Kent. Please take care of the gift. That girl is Lady Austronesia, the biological child of Gwain and the half-sister of Lady Miriallia. Please handle it well.”
Poplar vanished into the white mist.
Milly didn’t chase after her.
Instead, she ran to the weak succubus and untied her bindings.
”Are you okay? You?”
Untied, Austronesia’s eyes were unfocused.
She had been made sensitive for a long time, pushed to the brink of thirst, and her consciousness seemed hazy.
”Are you really Gwain’s daughter, Austronesia?”
She answered quietly to my question.
”I am the daughter of Gwain Haydon, Austronesia, rank 29… Thank you for helping me. Can I know your name?”
”I am Kent Blackdagger, the Margrave of the South District.”
When Austronesia heard my name, her face showed anger, and she tried to choke me.
However, because of her thirst, she couldn’t put much strength into it.
Her grip was weak.
”Y-you are the coward, Kent, who brought down my lord, Sir Gwain?!”
”Wait. Gwain chose to leave on his own. And right now, you are Kent’s prisoner. Know your place. You’re also about to die from thirst.”
Poplar had said Austronesia was Gwain’s child, but Milly seemed not to know her.
Milly gently removed Austronesia’s hand from my neck.
She had been strict with her other half-sisters in the Capital City, but she spoke kindly to the dying Austronesia.
”If you don’t want to die, join Kent’s ranks. That way, you won’t feel thirst anymore.”
”My master is only Sir Gwain. Why should I suffer Kent’s mercy? Stop joking already.”
Austronesia was showing a firm refusal.
She seemed to belong to Gwain’s harem, and Gwain seemed to have ownership.
But then, a new intruder suddenly appeared.
The new arrival was a slightly older-looking succubus, her clothes torn in places, and she was covered in wounds.
”Who?”
The succubus who appeared in front of Milly answered respectfully.
”I am Georgia, who was in charge of intelligence under His Excellency Gwain. Are you perhaps Lady Miriallia, Sir Gwain’s eldest daughter?”
The succubus named Georgia bowed to Milly and greeted her.
When Milly realized the succubus was Gwain’s spy, she tensed up.
”Did you come to take back Austronesia?”
”Georgia… thank goodness. Sorry to ask, but please take me and escape. I have to go to Sir Gwain.”
Weak and exhausted, Austrones gathered his remaining strength and begged Georgia for help.
But Georgia shook her head firmly.
”Lady Austronesia… I’m glad you’re safe… but there is nowhere left for us to return to…”
The spy named Georgia spoke with a meaningful tone.
As I listened, she suddenly raised a sword before Milly.
”This is Gwain’s treasured sword, Stonecleaver. According to Sir Gwain’s last will, I bring it to Lady Miriallia.”
I reacted to the word “will” Georgia mentioned.
”A-will?! What happened to Gwain?!”
I shook Georgia violently, trying to find out the truth behind her words.
Though I never met him, maybe I was still shaken by the death of the man who constantly aimed to kill me.
”Sir Gwain was surrounded by the Yaalan army and fell with the castle. I came to deliver his last will, following the master’s order.”
When Austronesia heard of Gwain’s death, she wailed as if the last thread she was clinging to had snapped.
”Nooo!! It’s a lie!! Sir Gwain can’t just die so easily, can he?!”
”Yes, he’s dead… I guess even that man’s luck ran out.”
Milly seemed to have already said her goodbyes to her father, calmly accepting the facts.
Hearing about the uneventful end of the man who had manipulated the Kingdom for over a decade, she felt a mix of relief and a rising fear of the Yaalan man who had so easily defeated him.
Milly received her father’s sword from Georgia and then tossed it to me.
”My father was Arbalest Haydon. I shouldn’t have been given such a sword, but it looks good, so I’ll give it to Kent.”
I was exposed to Georgia’s gaze as I took the sword.
”Sir Kent… I wish for you to avenge Sir Gwain’s regret… For that, please feel free to use me…”
Georgia had the look of a succubus who had seen a few years, showing me the seductive charm of a prostitute.
I swallowed hard, gulping down spit at the sight of her.
Georgia’s body lines were slightly out of shape, but that slight imperfection, contrasting with Milly’s model-like figure, gave her an amateurish charm that was part of Georgia’s appeal.
…With such a sexy body… I heard she was in Gwain’s harem… But now that Gwain’s dead, I’m the only one who can give her nourishment…
”Let’s put aside Gwain’s feuds for now. At least, I’ll protect you and Austronesia. Is that okay? Milly”
I looked at Milly’s face.
”Well, if Gwain is dead, his ownership expires. Kent can use them as he likes. Would you like me to take care of both of them right now?”
Milly was interrupted by Poplar, and she seemed really horny, wanting me to give her some of my seed using the two of them as a reason.
Even though I had just finished, my lower body was still feeling tingly.
”I will not take care of Kent… just let me die here.”
Austronesia had lost the will to live and felt hopeless.
She had a fit body like an athlete, with a tight butt and abs, a beautiful girl I couldn’t let dry up and die.
”Sorry, but from now on, I will take care of both of you until I die. Please forgive me.”
I took off my glasses and stared at each of them with my bare eyes.

”W-what… Kent is so handsome… my heart is racing… am I going crazy… ah, this is scary.”
”Sir Kent… what did you do… what have you done to me…”
The two were confused about becoming Carriers.
Their expressions when they looked at me clearly changed.
”Sorry, but you both can think you are under a curse from me; you can’t leave me. I plan to take on your lives completely.”
So, I ended up adding the two succubi to my harem.
