We, who had been scattered, entrusted combat to Kondrad and regrouped. Many of the Monster Hunting faces disappeared, and a gloomy feeling spread, but thanks to their sacrifice, the True Demon Dukedom army was gradually being cornered.
In addition to Kondrad’s attacks, Garvey’s artillery fire began, and Charlotte’s unit also joined the pincer attack, causing the divided True Demon Dukedom army to lose commander after commander, and the soldiers’ confusion reached its peak. The protection of Your Majesty Shifa had already been completed by Charlotte’s unit, and the tide of battle had already turned in our favor, to the point that a reversal from here seemed impossible.
Amidst this, a man in a dazzling armor, holding a succubus, was trying to leave the battlefield on horseback, which caught my eye.
”Yaalan is escaping! Do not let him get away!”
I felt that the one trying to escape was the enemy army’s General Yaalan, and I gathered my remaining strength to lead the Monster Hunters in pursuit. It seemed the enemy noticed our pursuit as well, as they made a large detour to the south and tried to escape into the forest.
However, Yaalan, who was desperately trying to escape, got too close to the forest and ended up trespassing on the territory of the remaining Stampede Bulls, and was trampled and turned into mincemeat by the Stampede Bulls that charged out from the depths of the forest.
It was an incredibly foolish and tragic end for someone who had swept across the continent as a king. Although it was a tragic end, perhaps there was some solace in the fact that he passed away with his beloved concubine.
We had the Monster Hunters, who could erase their presence, confirm the body that seemed to be Yaalan’s. They only brought back minced meat and a dented armor helmet, but once the True Demon Dukedom army, who had continued to resist, learned of Yaalan’s death, they gave up the fight and surrendered.
Thus, the Margrave South District army defeated the True Demon Dukedom army, the greatest enemy of humanity, and achieved a complete victory with the enemy general’s death. However, the price paid for this victory was great, and everyone who fought in this battle could sense that Kent, upon his return, would be disheartened.
