I give a slightly playful answer to my mother-in-law.
Her face turns rosy. Even though she’s heard this many times, she looks more shy now. But her eagerness makes me smile.
”P-please do… hurry… I need your help, Mr. Kent…”
She leans closer, her heart clearly showing how much she trusts me.
Knowing the strong Chancellor acts this way only with me makes me feel special.
”Chancellor Lila! Take your time, I’m here.”
Helga, waiting for her turn, is already relaxed and ready. The other ministers are also preparing, looking calm and focused.
”Don’t rush. Be gentle──!! Ahh! Mr. Kent…! You’re so kind…!!”
I move closer to my mother-in-law, hold her softly, and start gently supporting her.
Her clothes loosen, and her warmth brushes against my face with a soft whoosh.
”Ahh!! Mr. Kent!! Thank you!”
Her body relaxes, and I feel her joy growing.
”Even the Prime Minister gets this kind of care.”
”No, it’s different. Ah, yes, I’ll take it too!!”
Knowing I can make the respected Chancellor feel this way makes me happy.
”Ah, ah, ah, too much! I’m not ready yet! Slow down, please.”
As she accepts my help, I try to make her feel even better.
”Ahh!! Nooo! This is… too wonderful…!!”
My actions make her feel so much joy.
I feel a warm connection as I support her deeply.
”I’m completely at ease now. You can keep helping, right?”
She’s so overwhelmed with happiness that she can’t respond yet.
”Your Majesty Kent is so caring… Mrs. Lila looks so peaceful.”
”When she’s ready, it’s my turn, right? Should I check on her?”
I ask Est, who’s waiting eagerly.
”No, make sure to support her properly.”
”Right.”
I hold her closely and finish gently, as Est instructed.
”Ahh, uuuuuuuuu!!!!”
She hugs me tightly, and I feel her warmth.
The feeling makes me smile even more.
”Sorry, I’m starting again right away.”
”Ahh, ahh, haah. I can’t take it…”
”Sorry, but you’re too wonderful and inspiring.”
I hold her again and start the second round immediately.
This is how our daily meetings go, until I’ve helped each minister. But since most of them feel better quickly, the meetings are usually short and cheerful.
