I touched it, and Annabella reacted with surprise.

With a final moment, I completed my understanding, her reaction showing her relief. Annabella’s body went limp, her voice a whisper.

The room was silent, the air heavy with what just happened. But looking at Annabella and Milly, I knew this was just the start of my education.
