It was the morning of the third day since the Hunting Group member interviews.
Yesterday, even after my work (activating my Sexual Prowess Skill), I was staring at the selection papers, as today was the final day to send out the passing notifications to the successful candidates.
And I made my decision on the 3 people to be adopted.
This time, I decided to adopt 3 people: Talia, a Garuda Fox species and an apprentice healer of Lana; Manon, a former trapper and a freelancer hunter of the Garuda Cat species; and Ines, a Garuda Minotaur species with that shocking body.
The fact that all 3 of the adopted members are Garuda beastmen might be a sign that I’ve become a hardcore kemonomimi without realizing it.
As the 3 people who were not selected this time were also very charming women, I consulted with Milly and decided to offer them a reward, priority for secondary adoption, and the assurance that the Blackdagger family will protect them if they are in trouble.

Werner agreed to let Talia come to Lana for her growth.

If possible, I wanted her to participate in the duties of her profession (activation of the Healing Prowess Skill), but I decided to respect her will on that matter.
”Are you really not angry? If we go to the mansion, won’t I become Sir Kent’s sl*ve and be played with?”
I intended not to do such a thing unless the person herself wishes it.

I said so and handed the bag I received from Milly to the tavern owner.

Large gold coins rolled out of the bag; they were the large gold coins of the True Demon Kingdom.

The tavern owner’s wife was so shocked by the sight of the gold coins flying out that she was left speechless.
”What, what is this?! 1, 2, 3… 3 big gold coins… Are you saying this is Ines’s transfer fee?”
The tavern owner tilted his head as he looked at the big gold coins he had picked up.
”For the Blackdagger family, she is a girl worth that much. By the way, is it okay for us to transfer Ines?”

Milly presented 2 options to Manon.
The first option was to decline the Hunting Group, continue earning small change in random parties, and eventually get attacked and impregnated by a stranger.
The other option was to join the Hunting Group, receive delicious meals, wages, and become a Blackdagger employee.
Milly presented these two options, but I didn’t intend to force Manon to join if she didn’t want to.
Manon remained silent for a while, deep in thought, but then she spoke with determination.
”Manon is tired of being a stray cat. So, from today on, I’ll be a pampered cat under the care of the Blackdagger family-nya! So, Sir Kent, Lady Miriallia, please take care of me from now on-nya!”
As soon as Manon agreed to join the Hunting Group, Miriallia hugged her and started stroking her back, tail, and even her ears.
Damn it, Milly! I want to stroke her too, but it’s so unfair of you to keep Manon all to yourself.
”Milly, can I… can I stroke her too?”
”Not yet. Manon will be my exclusive pet for a while”

In a world where Milly has never refused my requests, she now declines Manon’s offer to be exclusively petted, leaving Manon limp and unable to move.
For now, both Milly and Manon have agreed to join the Hunting Group tomorrow, so I can rest easy for the time being.
